How to build a DIY 250cc off road scooter start to finish

- In this video you see me building a DIY 250cc army style offroad scooter at home in my garage. The video contains the full build start to finish and the testdrive. I added chapters below to easily navigate through the video.
After building a few electric scooters I thought it was time to build one that was gasoline powered. I got my hands on the front forks and engine of a Yamaha Majesty 250 and got to work.
The goal was to create an offroad scooter so I mounted offroad tires. It drives very well and has more than enough power (it's kinda scary fast in the straight line :) ), but I have to admit the offroad capabilities are a bit limited due to the small wheels and low ground clearance. In the testdrive part of the video you see I have to carefully navigate not to get stuck. In the open fields it would be perfect.
Apart from that, I am very happy how it turned out. It looks and drives great and is a lot of fun.

Brilliant job would be nice with some fabricated guard to protect the engine tho but other than that you done good

This is bad ass, I always thought an upright off-road scooter would be a more natural ride than anything in a seated position. This looks like a hell of a lot of fun too.

I love this kind of video....how to build...well for start you need 100k for work shop and 5k for part's than you do welding some tube and that's it 😂

This is a fantastic build, and with a 250 cc powerplant, it appears to have a LOT of low-end 'grunt', plus decent top speed. Given that most dirt bike riding is done standing up, it's the perfect solution! Still, it would be nice to have at least a small seat over the rear shocks to be able to sit once in a while.😉 Top notch engineering Henny!!😄👍

Only thing that popped in my head was, I wish there was a manual gear option till third then to an on-road system for a seventh speed. Awesome build!

I would love to ride one of these and see them on the road. They might be just as safe if not safer than a regular moped given that you have to keep your hands on the handlebars at all times and standing needs a bit more attention than riding. As someone who has gone 30+ mph on a Goped sport. You get a much better sense of speed while standing than sitting

Nice build and excellent details to the frame and support. My only issue would be NO seat?, after about 20 minutes of standing on up/down track (i know) the legs start burning.
