i think it was fine because it was such a small amount but thank you for letting me know to be careful. I’m pretty good about checking everything but i think i forgot to check almonds since i always give dogs peanut butter so i’ll be aware of that now ❤️
@Clueless 23 I think this "it's fine because I do it sometimes" mentality is the wrong approach to correcting ourselves so we can become better people. I once threw a grape in the grass because I didn't know that it was bad for dogs and had to chase it down when my dad told me otherwise. I can't say that it would have been fine because it was just one grape when grapes are definitely toxic for dogs. Why not accept the error in judgement?
I look up absolutely every new food before I give it to my dogs and I found a few places that said it was fine in small quantities, like peanut butter. Since almonds are higher in vitamin B3 and vitamin E they have good effects on your dogs coat and immune system. They, just like most other things, are high in fat and can upset your dogs stomach but if it’s a small amount, and in comparison to your dogs size, it’s not likely to happen. Almond butter isn’t like outright toxic but you should be cautious when giving your dogs any food and don’t give them anything in excess.
In case the jar smells like pickles, just rinse the jar with some water and vinegar and the smell will be gone for good :D I constantly have the same problem and this is the solution that always helps💕
Your videos are HIGHLY entertaining. I learn so much, and I also bust out laughing several times while watching. You are so funny to me in this dry humor sort of way. Lastly, your voice is so relaxing. Sometimes I turn on your old videos to go to sleep.
When I make tofu salad (buffalo or traditional chicken salad style,) I add no chicken bouillon to give it more flavor and sometimes I airfry the crumbled tofu just to give it more texture/take out more water. Worth a try if you make it again
First, love the video as always! Second, a tip for storing lemons that I recently learned is to store them in a glass jar completely submerged in water and it helps both plump up the lemon again (to some extent, no miracles are happening here) and keeps them fresh for up to a month!
I’ve had those dumplings before! They aren’t going to be FIVE STAR dumplings, but to make them taste better, I pan fry them with some sesame oil. I keep the heat sort of low until I know they are done, then I bump up the heat to get it more crispy on the outside. Then I serve it with some sauce of any kind! :) 🤎🤎🤎
Also totally recommending you take a spicy instant ramen, boil it in unsweetened plain non-dairy milk instead of water and add spinach! Creamy, spicy, and super good!
You need to try to cook the cauli rice with seasonings that’s how it gets yummy! I pan fry the cauli rice with sesame oil then add it chili garlic sauce, garlic powder, soy sauce, onion powder and if I have it on hand some just egg to make it fried cauli rice 😋
Emily I just love your videos I am so happy when you post. First thing this morning (UK!) I saw your video and I wanted to watch it but i knew it deserved my full awake attention. I'd love to make videos but I get caught up with everything being perfect, I love your relaxed and cool vibes... I wish there were more channels like this (or you just posted every day but obviously that's not achievable 😂) sending love and thanks for the entertainments! Xx
I don't know what it is about your videos that calms me down so much - I love watching them when I'm tired or to wind down. Recently, I have been stuck at home with the big Rona, which has potentially ruined my future travel plans, and this is what I'm watching to relax a bit. Thank you!
Omg could you make a video of more on the go breakfast ideas! I loved the baked oats it's such a smart thing to do! Maybe some sweet and some savory options 🤔
I started watching your videos a couple months ago, now I get excited every time you post! I've been trying to lower my food waste for years now, and your videos always show me creative new ways to use up my leftovers. Thank you for the inspiration! Also for all the good, chill vegan vibes!!!
There were no meatless meatballs at my Aldi either! I was worried they discontinued them but I haven't seen anything about it so hopefully not. I love watching your videos for meal inspo and also just chill vibes. I've been craving egg salad so I'll probably try the tofu salad
I always just have black vinegar with soy sauce with my dumplings! for extra fun, I’ll add chill oil crisp or even some sriracha, depends on my mood. Or a couple drops sesame oil on top! But mostly use vinegar and soy sauce, any vinegar should do and do it to your own taste
My Aldi was out too for the longest untill last week I was there..but now they are like $2 more than before 😑..I've been making our own with impossible meat.
tip for jars that have a lingering smell. Wash normally then put in a bit of soap, HOT water, and baking soda. Close the lid, shake, and leave on the counter closed lid side down. I've left them for hours/days and after they don't have a smell.
With the cauliflower rice, ignore the box directions😂 Sautéed it on the stove instead of heating it in the microwave. It helps crisp it up and get rid of the extra liquid
AHHH EMILY I have the same exact pastel striped shirt with butterflies! I thrifted it last year!! Omg lets twin Also, thanks as always for the quality content 💕
frozen riced cauliflower is bomb, and I love the vegan dumplings but only if I hand pan fry them. They are so filling I feel like 3 is enough for a meal with a bit of salad
OMG Emily!! You should try my fave dumpling dipping sauce recipe that I make and use religiously on all my food 😂 it's as follows: Chinese black vinegar 2 tbsp, Sesame Oil 2 tbsp, Low salt soy sauce 3 tbsp, chili garlic oil 1-2 teaspoons, sugar 1 tbsp, 1 stalk chives, 1 knob of ginger thinly sliced, 3 tbsp filtered water and 1 tsp toasted sesame seeds!!! shake this all in a jar well and it's PERFECT for everything IMO 😗👌🏻 it's chefs kiss!!! ALSO hello from the Philippines!!! love your vids!! 🇵🇭❤
Emi you are always a mood…your awkwardness makes me feel so seen 😂🥰 **also: maybe try freezing your tofu next time, then pressing after you thaw it…it’ll have that weird texture that might be better 🤷🏽♀️ don’t quote me tho, I’m just another vegan out here tryna find a way😅
Fair warning, also grabbed a Peter pan brand almond butter from grocery outlet and didn't find out until I got home that it contained honey. So be sure to check nut butters if you don't eat honey, I often forget 🥲. Everything in the vid looks good! Really enjoy the content!
I saw a hack on Pinterest where you can blend up spinach that is a lil bit wilted and freeze it into little spinach ice cubes for smoothies. Idk my spinach is always wilting so yeah 🤷🏻♀️ anything to save some produce
hello Emily!! I'm a super new subscriber and I've been binge watching your videos and it's really made me eat better (more fruit/veggies/eating more salads), over the last couple of days so tysm! it's also helped me with reducing my food waste too so ty for that side note: please do the other movies from the Twilight saga watch through on your 2nd channel 🙏 I really enjoyed the Twilight one cos it felt like we were at a sleepover or something just taking the piss out of the film 😆 lots of love from a fellow vegan (of 5 years!) from the UK 💚💚
Emily I love this video but doesnt that ramen at the end of beef bone extract or something like that in the flavor packet? Bc I used to love that ramen before I went vegan so I wasn’t sure if maybe this is a different one or not :)
it’s Shin ramen but check the ingredients before u buy if u find it! some are vegan some are not but they look the exact same! if u want more info i have a story highlight on my instagram about it! ❤️
Honey noo dogs should not have almonds 😩
almonds are fine in small amounts

my friend told me today she couldnt find the trader joe’s ones either! we have to get to the bottom of this
Ahhhh…I’ve been without them for MONTHS. Hopefully they are able to restock soon.

Yo when you were talking about sugar and how it's all about what you're used to that felt like an epiphany for me so tysm
everything about your kitchen reminds me of my childhood home 20 years ago
You need some mushroom powder! It adds an amazing punch of savory-ness to everything you make with it! Do it girl, it will change your life!
You should do the freezer trick with the tofu! You freeze it and then boil it and it changes the texture and makes it super firm.
I scream when I see your dog, that thing is adorable omg
Emily.. please... I need to know... is that green checkered background a wallpaper and if so, where can I get it?
my comfort human

I just have to comment before I have watched your video! Here is my initial reaction to see that you have posted “YAY YOU ARE BACK!!!!”
the series of unfortunate events that ensued while you made matcha was all too relatable lol

the tiny snippet of heart attack during the limp wrist moment HAHAHA I love you
I just started watching your channel and saw this video 10 mins after it was uploaded lol nice
you videos give me so much inspiration!
highly recommend pan frying cauliflower rice, the water evaporates much faster and it doesn’t get mushy 👌🏾👌🏾

I usually make my baked oats in the airfryer!! It takes half the time and is a lot easier overall
i really love the wall behind you!

Loved the video!!! The tofu salad looked so good!!! so happy you posted!!
Probably steaming or sautéing the cauliflower rice might have helped?
love your creative take on food. You're fearless! What is the ramen brand you made at the end?? um, YUM.

Oh gosh, I've never managed to make it this early 🥺
Love your vlogs thx
How do you make cheese bread in your air fryer? Whenever I try the cheese just blows away.
I liiiiiive for your video drops
happy pride month!! 🌈🌈🌈
Those aldi dumplings are so good omg I love aldi. Have you found the plant based ravioli they have yet?
I love you videos and I love this one so much
You are solely responsible for my shopping at grocery outlet way more than I need too for all the vegan goodies on awesome discount 🤣🤣🤣
Yay new content ✨️ ☺️ I love 'cheesy' Ramen
the cauliflower rice is only edible to me if I cook them on the stove
Lovely video as always Emily 🌈 Did you paint that funky kitchen wall yourself? It looks so cool!
Seriously love the videos - keep it up :D
I used to freeze citrus juice. I would put them in freezer bags after the ice cube tray. Now that citrus is exhorbitant, I'll be doing it again.
I’ve tried thrive kombucha in a can. YUK!!!! I love thrive but their canned booch sucks big time.
i live for your videos
omg that ramen looks fire
LOL i said that yesterday when I went back to ALDI's... could not find the meatless meatballs :'''(
The fact that you have just skimmed over your funky and fresh kitchen makeover is distressing me!!! We need deets!
lol i will post something some time soon 😭
@@emlyewng This is the best Friday eve news I have ever received!!

i want to know how the bug spray works out!
Zest all the lemons before you juice them. Then you can freeze the zest separately too!
thats a good idea!
The tofu salad will probably taste better after resting a little
Praying on a legend of korra themed video 🌚
Store lemons whole in water to stop the wrinkling
happy pride ily
Where are the animal crossing streams?? I miss them :(
What sliced cheese did you use at the end? Just curious!
Good Planet brand same as the bag of cheese I also showed (It’s p good but i think their shreds are better than the slices for melting!)
@@emlyewng I haven’t found the Good Planet brand so far. I’ll keep looking! Thanks!
omg dude we eat almost the exact same things!!
I use the old nanners to make banana bread muffins :)
