Yummy vegan recipes made by awesome, beautiful, cool, gorgeous & lovely Emily. I buy the store I shop in owns brand of toothpaste which is usually Tesco's own brand which states it's suitable for vegans. Love 🥰 the video and love 💕 Emily.
also- while u should totes get that coin and whatev with thrive market and also sometimes u really just need things to come right to your door, I think you would love shopping at the bulk section at a co-op. so cheap and u can bring any container you want! if u do please vlog it cuz id love to see you experience it lol
i love videos like this! i am always looking for new recipes that aren't super difficult, and i feel like the ones that get popular on social media are usually not super complicated. its also always fun watching you cook!
Emily next time for the onions put the acv on the stove till it gets to a boil then take it off and pour it hot into the jar with the onions then leave it out for a couple hours till it gets room temp then put in the fridge and it’ll be better lol ❤️
@@jessicacliff8632 no, stuff all ingredients in a glass jar and just boil the acv alone with some salt you don’t need a lot tbh I just put like 2 pinches so put the acv on high till it come to a boil and take it off right away and pour into the jar then leave the jar out on the counter till it gets room temp then put it in the fridge!!!! I usually pickle a lot of random things together like jalapeños onion and carrots and slice up garlic and it’s really good
@@gigi-fj4pz Thank you so much for the information!! I greatly appreciate you taking the time to reply. I am definitely going to make this, this weekend! It sounds so yummy, and super easy.
Ooohhh! That mint shake looks great! I’m definitely Team Chocolate Mint!!! 😆 Hey, I’m a new subscriber and a fellow Clovite! I’ve lived in Colorado for about 28 years but I grew up in Clovis and my parents still live there. Love your channel-you’re adorable!🥰
lol I did the same with cacao nibs when I first tried them. After seeing them in so many recipes I was not expecting them to taste that bitter (thought like a less sweet chocolate chip). That was from a small bag I got and was glad I didn't buy more. My dad didn't realize I didn't like them and went and bought a huge Costco bag after that 😂 Also the vegan butter fingers sound really good
I make a similar banana oat cookie, and I have found putting it on a low oven, like 300 degrees, works the best because it's almost like you're kinda trying to dry them out when cooking them, because the bananas just have a lot of moisture. I also love them for breakfast and for snacking on for road trips.
The acidity breaks down the onion, so you don’t need to heat it. I do an even lazier version of pickled red onions that’s literally red wine vinegar + sliced onion. Super easy, tastes amazing, lasts forever.
i think you have to lay the salt on the seaweed flat like on a papertowel so the cucumber doesnt try to reabsorb the water, but it might make it dehydrated completely so be careful dont let it sit too long
Vinegar pickles aren't fermented, that's lacto-fermented pickles (made by putting stuff in a salt brine and letting it sit at room temp), but vinegar pickles are delicious!
can we appreciate the editing so that you'd actually have to click and get the recipe from the original creator!! more people should do that while making these
Such a great video. I learned a lot >;-) I think you're awesome. I feel like I.O.U one. Friendly Banana trick/fun Try using the fork on the banana for 5 solid minutes, Its a trick they taught me in culinary school. When its a Green unripe banana we use our knife to "ripen" the banana and release the sugar in the bananaannannna and chop the banana for 5 plus minutes till its liquid-ish, should be kinda runny on the cutting board. Chop it like a crazy person, use 2 Chefs knives go to town on the bananana lol Great stress release Toronto here >;-)
Lemme just say, that peanut butter has high mold contamination. Go crazy with it and life can suck. That’s why I’m sticking with almond and sunflower butter.
I find that the brownie batter tastes more like brownies with almond butter instead of peanut butter. Peanut is too overpowering. Almond butter, maple syrup, and cacao powder is all you need.
As soon as you said you hadn’t had cacao nibs before, I thought to myself ‘I really hope she doesn’t grab a handful of them on their own’ 😂
i needed to know for myself the whole truth haha
@@emlyewng ha!
I made the mistake of that at work 😂

awe
@@vanamarkarian Been asking them for the past 5+ years!! We already moved from Canada and they still refuse to ship there.
Highly recommend making the bean mash sandwich as a toasted open face sandwich! A lot easier to eat imo
ok good idea i would honestly just make avo toast then mash beans on top then season & add hot sauce & lemon! that sounds a lot better to me!
I’m a new viewer an I really like how Emily is just kinda vibing through life. I am never this calm about food and Emily is my zen foodie queen.
Can we meet the doggy when she's comfortable 🥰♥️
yes definitely haha
That purple sweater looks GORGEOUS on you Emily. Thanks for the food inspiration ♥
Yay. I’ve seriously been looking every day for a new video! I absolutely love your videos. Wish there was a new one every day. 😊
Sameee!! I was looking for the past few days. So happy now
Emily with another BANGERRRR!!!
my fave comfort youtuber
I make the mint smoothie bowl all the time but I use peppermint and not spearmint! Tastes a lot more like Christmas and less like mojitos 😄

A good dessert to try if you want to use up your tahini is halvah.
When you salt cucumbers to get the water out, if you rinse the salt solution off they won't be slimy!

The making do w what u have to avoid leaving the dog alone to go to the store...is too relatable to me !!
the four ingredient cookies are so easy and a great alternative to making muffins or something. like lil breakfast bar cookies
I recon adding breadcrumbs to the bean& avo mash and frying it off in balls would be greattt in a sandwich

1/6 cup is 2 tbsp plus 2tsp. I have markings half way up all my cups so I can use the 1/3 cup at the half mark
lol this is like watching myself on a night I cannot sleep 🤣 thanks for the fun video!
everyone - uses tahini to be peanut free
vegan restaurants - tahini in at least half the menu items
me - allergic to sesame😅
love that there's a companion animal now 🥺🐶
Thank you for the video:) the nutty noodle salad looked so yummy and the butterfinger things. All of it looked good.
Rice wine vinegar is great to pickled red onions too!
Omg why have I never thought to make over night oats in an old pb jar????? You’re genius.
For the pickled onions are you supposed to heat the pickling liquid first? I've never seen it done cold like that.
Yes, definitely have to boil first.
The acidity breaks down the onion, so you don’t need to heat it. I do an even lazier version of pickled red onions that’s literally red wine vinegar + sliced onion. Super easy, tastes amazing, lasts forever.
For onions you don’t need to. I heat a little just to make sure salt and sugar is all dissolved
also great sweater representation in this vid A+++
making the cookies this morning!!!

do you have a recipe of YOUR take on peanut noodles? or peanut noodle salad? i'd love to try

anything you have ever described as interesting you ended up liking lol. that one avatar dish you made lol
Another pickled red onion recipe I like is lime juice, white vinegar, salt, and lots of black pepper.
i love you queen
Kinda random, but the terrazzo-style bowl you used for the salted cucumbers is lovely. Do you remember where you got it from?

Long live mint chocolate ice cream
I feel like if you're vegan you're more creative in the kitchen and never say there's nothing to eat
what's up with this blender? why the stick? won't the stick get blended??
It comes with all vitamix blenders to help things get going if they get stuck. They design it such that the stick can’t reach the blade
Lemme just say, that peanut butter has high mold contamination. Go crazy with it and life can suck. That’s why I’m sticking with almond and sunflower butter.
lol in case anyone doesn't know: 1/6 cup = 2 tbsp + 2 tsp
woooow
love the sweater 👕 great video 👍
there should be a sweater emoji🧶
I made that noodle dish by plant you as well and found that the sauce itself was not very flavorful without garlic added!
I too, also need to know the toothpaste brand
Interesting is such an interesting word
Don’t know why I thought you said “I just adopted a donkeyyyy”
Lol! I wish I was allergic to peanuts. I'm just allergic to all the other nuts.
Allergic to bananas. Wondering what else I can use for mint ice cream. 🤔
Do all coconut ice cubes!
Maybe soy milk, or coconut milk full fat from a can
yeah i would say a mix of regular plant milk plus some full fat coconut! but frozen into ice cubes ?? maybe. and then u’ll have to add extra sweetener
I think I saw someone do ice cream with sweet potatoes
I think I saw a video where somebody used frozen zucchini
anyone know where her glasses are from?
the ones in this vid are from warby parker 💞
i believe theyre the Simon’s in gold
Unfortunately pickled is not the same as fermented. Pickled vegetables do not have the probiotic benefits of fermented vegetables.
