Fun fact: the plight before christmas is actually the new highest rated bob's burgers episode on imdb, which is pretty shocking considering the fact that the episode that was the highest rated bob's burgers episode was the hauntening, which was all the way back in season 6.
The Haunting is definitely in my top 3 I don't love the new season as much as everyone else but I still love the show. I've been obsessed with the show from the start so I don't plan on leaving it behind anytime soon 😂
This was easily one of my top favorite seasons. I honestly didn’t dislike a single episode, and there were some new all-timers in my opinion. I’m so glad Bob’s Burgers still has a heart and soul, even after 13 seasons.
Amelia and the Christmas ep definitely made me tear up a bit, and i really loved the April Fools one and the radio one. Even if BB isnt as consistently funny as it once was, i can still appreciate the emotional and character moments.
The last two had too many poop 💩 type storylines I mean it had worms and diarrhea episodes almost back to back. Like gross 😝 I was really disgusted when they ruined the Thanksgiving episode by making gene have diarrhea. It was nasty. Last season was definitely my least favorite. Oh and Linda craps in public and gets arrested! Like WHY DO YOU NEED THREE POOP TYPE CENTERED EPISODES IN ONE SEASON 😒
This season was a huge step up and I really like the chances they took. They had more grounded and emotional episodes, while also having the silly ones. And what I really loved was them trying different storytelling ways. Like Bob telling a story about his grandmother, Amelia episode combines the actual project Louise was making and the flashbacks to making it. Also regarding the potential age up, I feel like they might move them up a grade. That could be really interesting because we would see a new dynamic with Tina graduating and going to High School.
I used to not like the vignetted episodes. But now I feel it endearing that a family is just sitting together and talking about ideas. Whatever the idea maybe.
I feel they should do more with that Radio style episode? Maybe each adult characters share a story from their family from various of eras while the kids comment on it. Wouldn’t mind hearing one from Teddy or Linda
Sincerely sort of hated Linda in Mother Author Laser Pointer. Watching her outright harass this woman who immediately just wanted to be left alone, I dunno. Linda's all-or-nothing in how she does things, and we've seen that blow up in her face plenty of times before in better episodes. The fact that she's ultimately sympathized with, but not forgiven sort of redeems the plot, but that still didn't make the episode remotely enjoyable to watch for me. The Teddy joke was hilarious though, and overall I did really like this season.
Linda needs a counterpoint when she’s in all or nothing mode, someone to talk her down, and she was so intense this time that it didn’t happens because she was too intense for Bob to reason with and the kids were in their holding pattern of a b-plot.
I love the down the middle episodes, they are reminiscent of real life, not great not terrible, life really does imitate art, its what bobs burgers is all about in my opinion.
I think it could be interesting to see them bring in the Pesto Kids's mom. She's talked about once or twice throughout the show, and I think with what happened to Jimmy Sr's VA, is a really good opportunity to bring her in.
If Jimmy Pesto never comes back or it's never explained where he's been, I would be okay with that. I like to imagine that Bob meditated Pesto into non-existance. X>
They need to hire Lucky Yates as Jimmy and start writing him back into episodes. I also miss Trev. Show Mama from the Grave was my favourite from this season. The background animators deserve an award for the cemetery animations.
I like the vignette episodes but only because not many shows do it and it's an incredible way of including minor characters without having minor characters contribute to the overall story. It doesnt risk building up lore that can't be sustained But I'm really tired of the series undermining characters' interests and hobbies. We've been with these characters for 10 years. Seeing them fail is not funny or enjoyable. Let Gene be good at music and Jimmy Jr good at dance. That's way more compelling than making characters seem annoying bc they like things
I quite liked what about job, the grabber part is done so well I love how epic they made her, and the clean energy joke gets me every time. I’m also not a huge fan of those type of episodes but it’s one of the better ones I think Also plight before Christmas is imo the best Xmas episode of any show I’ve seen, tears every single time, it touches the heart so hard thinking about my siblings, they outdid themselves on that one definitely deserves the spot he gave it
I personally loved the crab wrestling episode because of its absurdity. In a show where that kind of humor isn’t the forefront, I find it pretty funny when they do use it
The animation is so beautiful. I mightve rewatched the episodes of Bob's mother 10 times. I can't rewatch the Christmas episode or the finale for a bit because the way I cried... I can't do that again lol
Personally my favourite ep was The Plight Before Christmas, it was wonderful, made me tear up. But honestly for a few seasons now, including this I've been missing the fun unhinged Belchers and Louise from the first seasons. Yes I get what they're trying to do, she's maturing etc. But honestly now with so many of the eps needing to have some sort of meaning I'm definitely getting bored and loosing interest. Feels like an ending where they're trying to tie everything up and I miss the fun and random episodes where not everything had to have meaning. Also I know I'm in the minority but I've never liked Gene, so obnoxious to me, so I'm glad his eps have been bad recently 😅 Love Louise, Bob and Tina to bits! Just my personal opinion, I know everyone feels different about the show and that's great, still love Bob's Burgers to bits
I thought the birdwatching episode was really good! I liked best the part when Bob, Tina, and the Ranger were looking at the owl from the park washroom.
Mother Author Laser Pointer is by far my least favorite episode. Linda is more psycho then usual making it out of character, and falsely imprisons her in the resturant. The whole episode was just so uncomfortable
Glad to see some proper appreciation for Kathleen! She's been a favourite of mine ever since her introduction, and it's nice to see Teddy having a long-term relationship that seems to be going well.
Well actually went out of way to watch this full season and nothing else, here's thojghts 1)good for the first post-movie episode with even the same cast 2)fine, but ended up as the last episode of "como's family" before the events of the first "Haltmann" movie 3)you shouldn't be over the vignette eps yet, since this is their 1st post movie vignette. It thankfully didn't fully ripped off the plots of its 3 parodies 4)KIRBY EPISODE THAT CELEBRATES THE 30TH ANNIVERSARY OF THE KIRBY FRANCHISE 10/10 5)decent, don't forget satysfing subplot with the Wonder Wharf stadium 6)BAD IT HAS BEES BOB SHOULDNT DO BEKEPING 1ST POST MOVIE EP WITH NO OPENING LOGOS CLICHED PLOT 7)shared thoughts, subplot should have been linda eating her way through new orleans 8)good enough despite having nothing to do with thanksgiving 9)MASTERPIECE 10)so much better tina fey character than the one in the non-canonical episode that harasses Cuando Spider for being pretty *this is the last episode on como's family, the rest are judged by the rules of "Haltmann"* 11)BAD because of opening logos and horrible title 12)good enough to replace the fat blue line, even made a better portrayal of origamis than the mayro thing 13)good enough to be a season 1 episode, and the real reason why dangle sloth was fired was because he got falsely accused of still owning the nut-kicking missile 14)great, but sock subplot replaced by the big confrontation with Chomposaurus, only remaining fragment being the credits song 15)BAD BAD BAD BECAUSE OF HORRIBLE PUNS IN THE LOGOS 16)too mean spirited 17)downright awful bee pun and bee puns are always a sin 18)great short film 19)Horrible pun in opening titles and sounds very similar to one of the absolute worst episodes of futurama 20)IT HAS A BEE PUN ON THE PEST CONTROL VEHICLE 0/10 21)the last digital episode, and therefore the last event of the overall timeline of "como's family" 22)currently scheduled to be the new subplot for the cars episode since "the king of nice" didn't made kelly clarkson fat enough and i hate rabinowitz for replacing pennycandy as krusty's assistant
Amelia was my favorite episode too. I’m a pilot IRL and I’ve never understood why people are still so fascinated with her, I even have a good friend who is currently writing a book about Amelia. I get it now.
I'm honestly in love with this season. For one, not one single episode felt like a filler or a half hearted episode. And then it had 3!! episodes were I bawled my eyes out. The moment Bob said hello to his mom at her grave and was sorry she couldn't ever meet her grandkids hit so hard because it reminded me of sitting at my grandpas grave who passed not long before the season came out. Then the plight before christmas episode showed the huge character development Louise made. And then the last episode was a fantastic close to this season. Bobs burgers showed once again that you can tackle topics like feminism and toxic masculinity in a way that isn't pretentious or denounced. It just showed a little girl realising that beeing a hero you don't have to succed in everything and be the best, you just have to fight for what you love and believe in. And that is a great message for everyone out there, especially little girls who struggle to find a place in a men dominated world
Honestly, I wasn't a huge fan of the season myself, there were a few episodes I deeply enjoyed, and others I found myself struggling to finish. I find most people really like the plight before Christmas, which is fair, it had a lot of heart. My personal favourites had to Radio no you didn't and The Reeky Lake Show.
13 was such a different season. I really wanted to see more of the supporting characters as this season was primarily centered around the family. I also realized they don't seem to have little songs anymore but couldn't remember what season they actually stopped. I always enjoyed the songs and was glad when they started doing them. Looking forward to season 14.
I must disagree with you on the job episode for Louise. Not only do I love Louise centered episodes, but her family is willing to hear her out and help out with her anxieties about the future. And Bob even dismisses his biggest dream (the restaurant) in order to help his daughter. They stories themselves are great, especially Bobs.
The newer seasons have been disappointing. I miss the old episodes of Bob's Burgers when episodes revolved around more adult oriented topics. These newer episodes feel homogenized and sterile.
This season was very hit and miss but a huge improvement over 12. There was a mix of funny episodes like What an April Fool Believes with awful boring episodes like Gift Card or Hardly Trying.
Linda is absolutely unbearable in Mother Author Laser Pointer. Her obsessiveness is dialed to 11, and it's hard to watch. Definitely agree about Ready Player Gene being the worst of the season. Gene-centered episodes have generally been pretty bad over the later seasons. Show Mama From the Grave was definitely the best of the season, it's a beautiful episode, both visually and story-wise.

Visually my favorite episodes are Halloween, rainy / stormy ones, and ones that are taking place in new spaces, especially those outdoors. Two episodes I constantly skip is the one with the cow standing outside their restaurant, because it’s sad and the one of Louise having a cavity. While I like the plot of the cavity episode, I can’t stand all the Louise screaming in that episode.
dude i want to have like a couple hour long conversation with 10k productions about bobs burgers, nobody ik cares enough to talk about my theories and opinions on the show
Hated this season. Waaaaay too many wholesome moments and too preachy with a lesson at the end of nearly every episode. I'd like to see them put the Belchers in actual fun situations next season. I was so disappointed with S13.
2:40 now I’m with u on that one. It’s fine after a few seasons, but it gets annoying when it’s every season or worse they do it twice within one season and I’m looking at u Family Guy. To me at this point it makes it feel like they’re running out of ideas and it could be a sign they should stop the show. Family Guy did this I think last season or a season before it and what made it worse was that it happened twice within the season I believe. Again I don’t mind it when it’s here and there, but for it to be this far within the show and happen every season is kinda like “oh here we go again”.
Floppy scoops! 😂😂😂 I kinda liked that episode 😂 The back and forth between Zeke and Tina and Flips Whitefudge cracks me up. And unpopular opinion but gene is my least favorite character. Mostly because of the creepy relationship with Linda. So any gene episodes aren't ever gonna be good to me. I don't hate them but I definitely don't love them. This seaaon was definitely better than the last one or even two. Even the Christmas episode was amazing 👏 Been a few years since I loved a Christmas episode.
how you feel about Gene is how I feel about Tina to be honest that episode where she falls for a bunch of boys one after is still my least favorite of the whole series
I didn't I don't remember watching bob's burgers when it 1st came out maybe I did maybe I didn't but I will say most people have memories at the sampsons and other shows like that and my favorite memory is Bob's burgers burgers the early days the thanksgiving Halloween episodes just it's already got an nostalgic for me already memories around and things I was doing when I was watching the show thanks for the video bro keep him coming
This season was meh, had episodes that looked like character development then dropped the ball in the end. The one where Loise reads her poem should of ended with her and Tina hugging to build that little sister, big sister bond instead Linda shows up and ruins the moment. After saying she could leave the girl scouts because she was needed. Gene and his GF suddenly not knowing how to play music in the same episode was like "really?".
I know it's a cartoon but I was apualled by Bob's parenting in Reaky Lake Show. I understand the kids sneaking and watching tv but hiding from your own wife is pathetic. Also how did that tv even work. They didn't have a digital converter box. Also what would they even be watching since that tv didn't have cable. Their opinions are sports, PBS Kids, and Me TV. If they brought a Roku that would have closed that plot hole.
2:46 Dude YES! I'm over these episodes 🙄 They're not very good anymore. This one in particular was boring and idk I just don't like these very much either 😕
I think the writers may have been tired or burnt out from the movie and making it so good that most of the episodes suffered from it. There were good episodes, but most of them aren’t as good as I know they can regularly be
What should I talk about next? Comment it here!

I've been obsessed with the show from the start so I don't plan on leaving it behind anytime soon 😂
Its the reason why I watched Bob's Burgers (and My Butt Has a Fever and yes I got into the series late. We don't have Hulu in our country thats why)
This was easily one of my top favorite seasons. I honestly didn’t dislike a single episode, and there were some new all-timers in my opinion. I’m so glad Bob’s Burgers still has a heart and soul, even after 13 seasons.
the only episode i kinda didn’t like was cheaty cheaty bang bang. it wasn’t horrible horrible just boring . every other one was great tho
so true
Amelia and the Christmas ep definitely made me tear up a bit, and i really loved the April Fools one and the radio one. Even if BB isnt as consistently funny as it once was, i can still appreciate the emotional and character moments.
This season was like REALLY good. Compared to the last two seasons, this one had WAY too many bangers. The energy in the writers room must’ve shifted.
The last two had too many poop 💩 type storylines
I mean it had worms and diarrhea episodes almost back to back.
Like gross 😝
I was really disgusted when they ruined the Thanksgiving episode by making gene have diarrhea.
It was nasty.
Last season was definitely my least favorite.

Like WHY DO YOU NEED THREE POOP TYPE CENTERED EPISODES IN ONE SEASON 😒
There were a couple of episodes that had me so teary-eyed that I told my wife I ate an edible as a cover
The Christmas episode did that
That was the movie for me
@@REDOYSTERCULT302I cry every time I see that Christmas episode , such waterworks

Completely agree, Linda was WAY too over the top crazy in that one, and it made the episode one of the worst of the season for me.
The Plight Before Christmas in my opinion, is the best episode ever and it is now the number 1 rated episode on Bobs Burgers for IMDb.
I love the down the middle episodes, they are reminiscent of real life, not great not terrible, life really does imitate art, its what bobs burgers is all about in my opinion.

1)good for the first post-movie episode with even the same cast
2)fine, but ended up as the last episode of "como's family" before the events of the first "Haltmann" movie
3)you shouldn't be over the vignette eps yet, since this is their 1st post movie vignette. It thankfully didn't fully ripped off the plots of its 3 parodies
4)KIRBY EPISODE THAT CELEBRATES THE 30TH ANNIVERSARY OF THE KIRBY FRANCHISE 10/10
5)decent, don't forget satysfing subplot with the Wonder Wharf stadium
6)BAD IT HAS BEES BOB SHOULDNT DO BEKEPING 1ST POST MOVIE EP WITH NO OPENING LOGOS CLICHED PLOT
7)shared thoughts, subplot should have been linda eating her way through new orleans
8)good enough despite having nothing to do with thanksgiving
9)MASTERPIECE
10)so much better tina fey character than the one in the non-canonical episode that harasses Cuando Spider for being pretty *this is the last episode on como's family, the rest are judged by the rules of "Haltmann"*
11)BAD because of opening logos and horrible title
12)good enough to replace the fat blue line, even made a better portrayal of origamis than the mayro thing
13)good enough to be a season 1 episode, and the real reason why dangle sloth was fired was because he got falsely accused of still owning the nut-kicking missile
14)great, but sock subplot replaced by the big confrontation with Chomposaurus, only remaining fragment being the credits song
15)BAD BAD BAD BECAUSE OF HORRIBLE PUNS IN THE LOGOS
16)too mean spirited
17)downright awful bee pun and bee puns are always a sin
18)great short film
19)Horrible pun in opening titles and sounds very similar to one of the absolute worst episodes of futurama
20)IT HAS A BEE PUN ON THE PEST CONTROL VEHICLE 0/10
21)the last digital episode, and therefore the last event of the overall timeline of "como's family"
22)currently scheduled to be the new subplot for the cars episode since "the king of nice" didn't made kelly clarkson fat enough and i hate rabinowitz for replacing pennycandy as krusty's assistant

There were some misses, but some of the episodes have become my favorites
last episode is probably my favorite of the entire series. immediately went to reddit to talk about it.. but the subreddit was private. sigh.
I have to agree on the vignette episodes. Like, every time they drag one out now it comes at the cost of my sanity.
Honestly, I wasn't a huge fan of the season myself, there were a few episodes I deeply enjoyed, and others I found myself struggling to finish. The Plight Before Christmas episode was the first episode of Bob's that genuinely made me sob 😢😅 By far my top 5 favorite episodes

I also realized they don't seem to have little songs anymore but couldn't remember what season they actually stopped. I always enjoyed the songs and was glad when they started doing them. Looking forward to season 14.
Season 13 has some of my top bobs burgers episodes
Episode 10 makes me cry every time !!!!! And I think Louise didn’t want to make it a big deal because she didn’t want to make her mom feel worse too
You didn’t rank the gift card episode
I must disagree with you on the job episode for Louise. Not only do I love Louise centered episodes, but her family is willing to hear her out and help out with her anxieties about the future. Season 13 has been great that I've seen - in fact episode 10 might be my all time favourite Bob's Burgers episode
This season was very hit and miss but a huge improvement over 12. There was a mix of funny episodes like What an April Fool Believes with awful boring episodes like Gift Card or Hardly Trying.
Man what a return to form season 13 was! I didn't hate or not want to rewatch a single episode (maybe ep 5 was the low point for me)

This was a really solid season. It definitely had a lot most stand-out episodes the series has had in a while.

And unpopular opinion but gene is my least favorite character.
Mostly because of the creepy relationship with Linda.
So any gene episodes aren't ever gonna be good to me.
I don't hate them but I definitely don't love them.
This seaaon was definitely better than the last one or even two.
Even the Christmas episode was amazing 👏
Been a few years since I loved a Christmas episode.
how you feel about Gene is how I feel about Tina to be honest
that episode where she falls for a bunch of boys one after is still my least favorite of the whole series
Season 13 really lost me, and i felt the show needed put down.
Thank GAWD for season 14
Season 14 airs Oct. 1st
This season was meh, had episodes that looked like character development then dropped the ball in the end. The one where Loise reads her poem should of ended with her and Tina hugging to build that little sister, big sister bond instead Linda shows up and ruins the moment. After saying she could leave the girl scouts because she was needed. Gene and his GF suddenly not knowing how to play music in the same episode was like "really?".
please rank every rick and morty episode!!!
I don't understand how Ready Player Gene is supposed to be funny. There aren't any jokes and it doesn't end on a punchline or anything.
218 is outrageous and super memorable… gotta disagree on that one, your opinion tho. Keep the content coming.
Radio No You Didn't was VERY good. It was different... 📻
I'm over these episodes 🙄
They're not very good anymore.
This one in particular was boring and idk I just don't like these very much either 😕
nah the wrestling episode is 1000x more believable if youre in the wrestling scene
Jimmy in jail for a long time he's a fool
Please please elaborate more it got real repetitive 🙃
Pestos in jail real jail
I think the writers may have been tired or burnt out from the movie and making it so good that most of the episodes suffered from it. There were good episodes, but most of them aren’t as good as I know they can regularly be
I don’t like gen ,Linda, teddy or Tina but it’s my favorite show! Crazy I know but it just is!
i hope jimmy pesto never returns
