Those old comics had something that newer comics lack. Maybe it’s the exaggerated poses of characters or the ability to tell a solid story in one issue. The bits of old comics shown in this video gave me serious nostalgia, especially the old Warlock and Spiderwoman. Oh, and the High Evolutionary versus Galactus in Fantastic Four was a high point in my childhood. The FF had an excellent few years during that period, probably my favorite comic run ever.
But I have a question! Who handed Wyndham the blueprint that led to him becoming the High Evolutionary?! That seems the root of his origin but the video leaves it a mystery and even as I’m a Marvel encyclopedia I seem to have missed those issues.

Kang and high evolutionary together teamed up or using one or the others tech and knowledge would lead to a beyonder level powerful character. In the mcu even lowly human shield scientists can create inhuman bodies with multiple powers. Lowly human doctors can create cradle devices that can be modified to print living vibranium bodies. They can mess with animals or technologies to create powers of all kinds. But the high evolutionary is like leagues above all these people in technology and knowledge. And kang essentially has records of everything to ever happen in all universes throughout all time. If you took that data and applied it to perfected and more advanced versions of earth based experiments done by the high evolutionary, you could basically create a completely indestructible body with every single power possible, with all historical, scientific, magical and cosmic knowledge there is uploaded into it. Completely op. As op as it gets. If hella can break thors hammer a character like that could break entire universes.

He recently showed up in an X-Men comic he acknowledged. Mutants as the dominant species and wanted to give them a gift. A bomb to sterilize all the rest of humanity to the point that they only gave birth to mutants

The High Evolutionary's biggest flaw is that he sees being both humanoid and godlike as what evolution is, a linear path to a narrow goal. Technically here, on Earth, Cockroaches, Amoeba, and (most of all) "Water Bears" are more physically evolved than humans are... unless you want the creature to evolve into living like a human... then godlike humanoid is the goal.
Theres so much they could have done w High Evolutionary but we get a brother w a stretchy face what the heck? Good actor though could've been used to much better effect

thought comic books were the bastion of creativity but theres forces which are playing games w ppl just giving us the old okey doke- the High Evolutionary in the GoG3 oooks like something from a home video, good actor who couldve been used to more effect but they just had to let us know hes loud & proud while in the comics 7nless u inew his background story no one could tell where hes from except maybe his speech. So sad bc creativity for new characters is unlimited but they keep on effen up characters and timelines for bs political correctness and what amounts to real racism- no racism is just the right amount! No racism against whites the real minority in the world

What a horrible mishmash of illogical, incoherent Marvel madness.
It seems a one off story tried to be assimilated into the regular Marvel Universe.
First off how did a human make himself evolve without encountering the power of the Celestials? Were the Celestials dumber than Wyndham?
Secondly, if Wyndham was inspired by Sinister wouldn't that make all of his accomplishments derivative. Wouldn't Sinister surpass him in knowledge? For if Wyndham surpassed Sinister one must ask how? One wonders at the relationship between Sinister and Wyndham, a parallel of Mr. Fantastic and Dr. Doom?
Thirdly, he "invented" that supersuit that had all those powers but had to rely on another scientist to advance spaceflight? Which is it, is he smarter than your average bear or was he helped by others? If you'd like me to believe he invented a device that made him a super genius but then used it to turn a cow into a human you've got some psychological breakdown missing. Is he a super mind or a warped mind? Is he a flawed character like Frankenstein or Dr. Moreau or an enlightened, genius beyond human flaws? A baby Celestial or a less divisive Apokolips? Make up your mind Marvel!
There is genetic experimentation and there is Natural Evolution. The will of man or the Nature of reality itself. According to Darwin there was natural selection controlled by genes or there was artificial selection controlled by an agent. Artificial selection involved an agent, man, breeding animals or plants to fit man's desires, such as the breeding of different types of dogs or apples.
Unfortunately, as the novel Frankenstein pointed out, man's knowledge is incomplete. Unlike Nature, which harmonizes evolutionary changes with the capacity of Nature to sustain such changes; artificial selection depends on man's capacity to sustain survival. If you could create King Kong ask yourself what would he eat? If he can't survive beyond himself then what have you accomplished? A fancy way to murder?
They cast a black actor to play kang! And another black actor and play the high evolutionary! Interesting! Ya think! Smh
