There are also more "Concepts" divisions within OCP. In Robocop, when Murphy is walking in his old home, the video realtor mentions "Food concepts" when describing the Kitchen and its features. Meaning, Food Concepts is the division that handled everything related to food-related products.

If a world without war, hunger and greed is dystopia to a person, that person is the problem and needs to be neutralized.
Without war, the military has no job. Without avarice, what happens to the banks? Completely eliminating hunger, greed and war would be one tall order, perhaps an impossible task.

Verhoven was intense with Total Recall and Starship Troopers on the absurdity of violence.

The remake was good... for creators who missed every intellectual point of the original. They got the drama, the action, the tear-jerking, the simple-minded basic story. They missed all of how the original did both parody and satire to flame things that have happened, still happen, and probably will get worse in the future because of social blights that are seemingly immortal.
The producers of the remake pretty much neutered the director, you should see his Elite Squad movies & you can only imagine what he could have done it he was given free reign

That would be a smooth story transition... OCP creates Skynet and thus Skynet realizes the biggest bad guy was the humans who created it, unfortunately mostly knowing humans of OCP.

If the remake of RoboCop would have a cat too, it’s traditional principle of it would’ve been a success. Also the original script. It was crap. All they had to do was do it. Word for Word scene for scene with better animation and robotronics equals $$$ and a good movie.

OCP created in the 80's a era where companies were merging in to every market they could get into Coca-Cola owned Columbia Pictures , Sears owned H&R Block and Prodagy , Pepsi owned KFC, Taco Bell, and Pizza Hut. Heck some famous food products came from companies who don't make food any more like Purenia who made Chex. OCP being Evil corp full on wasn't until Frank Miller came on board and we got the red OCP banners with the OCP logo in a white circle, the 3rd film added the new early 90's fear that Asian companies were coming to buy our bankrupt American brands to repackage there products with a better known US brand on it. the old man is dead and the Japanese equivalent to the OCP have taken over the company sand want there puppet CEO to finish Delta City at any cost even if it means rearming some war vets with PTSD and sending them to enforce Element domain.
Take out the robots in the cyborgs out of Robocop and you got modern-day Detroit

I strongly feel it’s time for the (ROBOCOP) show series to get rebooted now.
If my idea gets put into the works someday; I suggest add a new spin on the storyline for the live-action show series.
For instance how about add a 2nd. faction of scientific industry, who genuinely cares about all the citizens, and this faction hates the O.C.P. industry.

@@roadwolf2 I imagine MURPHY aka RoboCop, he joins the other faction, because they are on the side of good, while the O.C.P. isn’t on the side of good, but I imagine that MURPHY doesn’t discover this info. about the other faction until later on in the series.
Even though the O.C.P. are responsible for RoboCop being made, he still has a moral-code he lives by, he later realizes that the O.C.P. company is not on the side of good, but on the side of wickedness, for the greed, it’s a bit full of corruption, and they have very bad intentions.

But I think it would be interesting, and might be good to introduce an alternate version of RoboCop, and add in new situations, along with new allies, and a few new other characters.
Plus to add maybe add new sets of character groups who hate the O.C.P. industry, and secret groups of individuals who are working together to try to take down the horrible O.C.P. industry.
All of this is coming to cities in Western countries in 20 years...

16:21 in RoboCop Last Stand aka Frank Miller's original script for Robocop 3, The Old Man, Johnson, and Faxx are all present. Faxx stages a takeover with the Robotic Ninja and kills The Old Man and Johnson and assume control of OCP until her demise last in the story arc
The only reason they weren't in the motion picture is because both actors turn down returning based on how 2 did at the box office compared to the original
