Bit of head canon for blue and Gary. Blue and Daisy go to live with their grandfather, Professor Oak, after their parents die. Professor Oak wasn't really a good parental figure, far to interested in his lab, and only really paying attention to Blue when comparing him unfavorably to the neighboring boy Red (starting up the rivalry). Blue grows up and maintains only minimal contact with his grandfather. Gary is Daisy's son. Daisy dies, and Gary goes to live with his great grandfather, calling him grandpa. Oak acknowledges his failure in raising Blue, and tries to overcompensate for this with Gary by spoiling him e.g. buying a 10 year old a car etc.
Well you start with p3000 and p is based on yen so it's somewhere around $30. Seems like the normal amount a kid would have after saving up a bit for their Pokemon journey. But we do see how parents affect their kids in resources for battling. I think that the wealthier the family, the more powerful a trainer's Pokemon can be at the start. Serena and May are fairly strong as rivals because they have family ties to powerful battlers. Brendan and Dawn work with professors and so know more than you at first. Lyra's grandparents run the daycare.
+LOL Icon Or the main characters could just be lucky they live in the same town and grew up being freinds with the regions most influential researchers. Some of them at least...
10/10 explanation this time. Also, remember that Red was meant as a depiction of Satoshi Tajiri as a child, and his father was a Nissan salesman while his mother was a housewife. He would probably have seen his father much more rarely than his mother for obvious reasons.
Really interesting, I remember that when I was stationed in japan it was definitely like this with everyone. They worked really hard up until like Saturday night which was when a lot of them went out to do things, the Sunday back to work until Saturday night again. So it was like they really did not have full days off.
I'm surprised Norman was never mentioned. He's seen at your house in the beggining of the game, but goes to his gym afterwards. This supports the whole fathers having tons of work theory. Maybe the dads of the main characters all have a job similar to Normans where they stay for extended periods of time? That would raise the question as to where his Dad lives or sleeps if he's not at home ever.
BUT PROTO! Remember the war! I believe the war to be an on-going thing, granted there was a big war thousands of years ago but it seems a recent war happened, look at Blaine or Lt. Surge, also every adult on the Pokemon Games and series that we know about do not seem to have war or military-related jobs so probably Red's or Ash's father is still alive, but still fighting the war. Now, I know you've talked about this before but the on-going wars might be the reason as to why you have to train from a small age at (what seems to be) National-funded gyms and leagues, they want to find the best trainer and possibly recruit them later. Probably this is the same reason why Red vanished in the first place, after becoming the champion and looking for Mew, they got to him and tried to recruit them. Red, not agreeing to join, simply vanished and has been on the loose ever since. Then, if you were to consider that maybe Team Rocket is a liberal opposition to the way the government is taking care of things then said description would match your theory regarding Team Rocket not being evil since it just seems a very rich man got fed up with wars and stuff destroying his country and it opposes the use of Pokemon for these means, I don't believe that Giovanni or Team Rocket pursues world domination per se, but fighting to get enough power to make the calls and legislate on these matters possibly, resolving the wars and fights. Finally, if you were to pair these with Team Rocket's motto it would make so much sense as I believe you've talked about on another theory: To protect the world from devastation (They have experienced devastation through war and do not agree on war being the answer) - To Unite all people within our nation (These on-going wars may even be held among their own nation, probably civil wars) - To denounce the evil of truth and love (Remember AZ? He caused devastation due to love for Floette and it might be a hint for champions or good trainers trying to find the truth about Pokemon and going haywire because of it) - To extend our reach to the stars above (I believe they do have a fair amount of power and that they probably reigned before, so they want to extend their power). Now, this same thing replicates to every enemy team you've got on every region, each having their own purpose, but I believe Team Rocket's purpose to be governmental, financial and political as opposed to Magma's or Aqua's hippie purposes. Lysandre is another good example of a rich guy who is fed up by the way they treat Pokemon, you do not get to that level of crazy if you have not experienced first-hand the horror or suffering of conflict or war and Ghetsis seems to be more of a dictator than anything else.
Plus, if you analyze Kalos' situation, which is based in Europe, you'll notice several adult male figures, as opposed to other regions, which seems to indicate that it is a far more stable region and economy than the past ones. Clemont's father is a freaking superhero and there are lots of NPCs in the game that have non-military related jobs. Maybe peace was reached a long time ago in Kalos or they are so far away from the other regions that the war did not affect them as much. Also ORAS's Hoenn which clearly happens on the same timeline/dimension does not seem to have any conflicts as the past generations since your father is a gym leader, Wally's family makes an appearance and your rival's father is a Professor.
Yeah, makes sense. And if he's in a war, they wouldn't see him for months or years at a time, which explains why he's missing, but in Kalos we have plenty of parents around. Seriously, if "Dad" was just at work, you'd see him at least once, or get a call from Mom saying he visited. But if he's in a war, he can't exactly lobby for a day off on the day of the League.
It's impossible for Giovanni to be reds father since red already knew who his father was because of the sports game reference. Therefore when red meets Giovanni he would definitely point out that he was his father.
There's a flaw in the Nugget Bridge hypothesis. Blue has to face five other trainers before the Team Rocket Grunt supposedly asks him to join Team Rocket. It's a possibility that Blue could wipe out all of the trainers without taking any damage to his Pokemon, but in that case he would need items to boost his Pokemon's PP. And if that's a possibility, then it would also be a possibility that Blue would have Items to boost HP as well as PP. So technically it isn't a flaw, but rather an extremely unlikely possibility. And here's my own theory; what if Blue's parents are in Team Rocket? Nothing says that Blue's parents died, and ProtoMario made a good point saying that in the popular stereotypical Japanese family respected family and wouldn't simply never talk about them. And what motive would Blue have to join Team Rocket in the first place? Professor Oak has a good sense of justice, proven on his kindness towards Pokemon and people. So why would Blue join Team Rocket if he was raised by Prof. Oak? Someone had to set an example. Who would Blue respect out of everyone he knows? Prof. Oak? His parents? Daisy? Even Red himself? Prof. Oak is a kind person (as I stated before), so he can't be in TR. Daisy? No, not the type to go on an adventure, and she is also a kind person proven by how she speaks to Red and heals his Pokemon, and how Blue trusts her. It's obvious that Red is not in TR, because he just started his adventure and it's likely that he barely (if he ever) even reached Viridian City. His parents? Makes sense. We don't know Blue's parents, so it IS a possibility. It would also explain why they are never home. But my theory is grounded from the Blue being in TR theory. And one more piece of proof to support that theory (that Proto didn't add in his vid), is how heartless Blue is to his Pokemon. Prof. Oak pointed this out, and Blue didn't deny it. In fact, after Oak said that, Blue was silent. That's my theory, steal it and suffer the wrath of copyright and the Night Mother. Hail Sithis!
You fight kid trainers in the beginning(Youngsters, Picnickers, bug catchers, Lass) and almost no teens and adults. In the middle of the game you fight more teen trainers and less adult/kid trainers but young adults(Ace trainers, Beauties, Skiers, swimmers, Rich boy/girls, Punks) Then Later in the game you fight more adult trainers(Veterans, Expert, Dragon Tamers ) and a minimum of teen trainers(Ace trainers).
I have a theory: Are fire type Pokémon attacks a lot weaker than real fire? (Forests aren't usually burned down from attacks and Pokémon + People can withstand them better than real fires)
The cultural explanation here is one I find interesting, and one I might have an expansion on. I've never been to Japan, but I have been living in Taiwan for 4 years working as an English teacher. Something that is very common here are men/fathers working far away from their families. For example, I live in the southern part of Taiwan, and one of my friends here is a woman with 2 children, whose husband lives and works in Taipei, in the north. The family has a place here, near the grandparents, and the husband has an apartment in Taipei, and only comes back on some weekends and holidays. As far as I've been told, this is mostly a financial decision, and also because Taipei isn't the best place to raise kids. That example is fairly moderate. There's another very common separation, when the husbands/father move to another country entirely for work. I have several students whose fathers live and work in Mainland China, and send money back to Taiwan for the family. I have, on several occasions been told things along the lines of: "Johnny's family is going to China to visit their dad for the summer, so he'll be missing class. But he'll rejoin in September!" So 10 months out of the year, the kid is here in Taiwan going to school, and maybe he sees his dad for at the lunar new year, and that's it. Then a couple months in the summer they can go visit. But that's it. I think this situation is true for about 1/10th of my students. And that's just the ones I know about, in this one small town. I could easily see situations like this as part of the Pokemon universe.
I know this is quite frankly really late to comment, but it is proven in the heart gold and soul silver games that Silver is the son of Giovanni. So I hope this could possibly link to hoe Giovanni knew Red's or Blue's father.... Interesting thing to think about. Hope you put this in a theory!
Honestly, this theory does makes sense. Red's father could be working. Blue's parents could be working. Blue's parents might have died in the supposed war and Oak just supresses that memory to avoid depression. Giovani is Silver's father, according to an event on Pokémon Soul Silver/Heart Gold and to the manga, so he cannot be Blue's. OR maybe he can. Maybe Blue is Silver's older brother or something. There are too many possibilities with far too little evidence.
The working all day answer does make sense scince in emerald u know who ur father is but hes so constantly gone at a gym in another city and ur mom will noticeabley be upset over the situation
ProtoMario Some are, but I'm not too sure about the Gen VI Hex Maniacs. They seem like the sort that the other version were in their teens XD Heh, that could be a theory if you have a slow day.
***** LOL it's never a slow day for me. honestly it's hard to determine what a real adult is in that world cause Jessie and James are considered "Adults" with Brock... but Ash is a Kid? Odd you know.
ProtoMario Well its japan, you are technically an adult at 13-15. Also Jessie and James have been said to be 15 or 16 years old in the Japanese dubbed second movie.
What about blue and daisy being adopted by oak or something like that when they were little , that could explain why he is so close to oak and independent from any parents at all. Another answer could be reds dad counting he is great trainer went traveling on other regions or simply is still trying to finish the dex or complete everything in kanto. Lastly I think the actual absence of parents in the pokemon games could reference the fact it is from a child's point of view , meaning adventure and exploring seems more like a lifestyle than rules and adult laws.
Most characters are missing parents but I only find it really sad with siblings eg. Clemont and Bonnie as there is a ten year age gap between them so Clemont at least would of had a mother until Bonnie was born.
I have a theory I picked up from elsewhere - Are the Legendary roaming Pokemon (Entei, Raikou& Suicune) actually the three Eeveelutions (Flareon, Jolteon& Vaporeon) in their past lives (before their revival from the dead by Ho-Oh)?
The Majora's Mask game does have people walk around doing stuff. But it is hard to implement a time function and to have non playable characters focusing on different tasks would not be able to cover up all the scenes where they take a bath or go to the toilet.
It makes a lot of sense as eve in the later games, with times and days, gym leaders are never at home sleeping or anything always just standing there waiting for a trainer to arrive so they can get money to spend like maybe 1000 poke dollars on things and the rest goes else where. Game freak could easily make a wait mechanic but they don't so this says to me that this could be the answer people working all hours of the day and night as a reason to why some parents are never seen
I agree with the post war theory. I believe there was a war and most adults were killed. It was said they was a war in one of the games. I remember it from Pokémon gold. He said a Pokémon saved him during the war. There's proof of a war and a lack of adults. That's all the proof I need. You said that later games included more adults, well that fits this too. As people grow up more adults will appear until the world replaces the life lost.
Happy Thanksgiving! Also, is Silver (rival in Johto games) the son of Giovanni? I remember there was an event with Celebi that let you travel back in time to when Giovanni was leaving Team Rocket and he was talking with Silver. I think one of them called the other "father" or "son"...
Average day in 2017... Phil's day at work... *Phone starts buzzing* Phil- Screw this... Boss- What's wrong? Phil- THERE'S A FRICKEN SHINEY CHARIZARD!!! Boss- The 3rd time this week? Okay... Go for it.
+Arkdragonman Well, First blue joined team rocket. (watch the gnoggin vid for full details) and after Giovanni retired, Blue took over as the viridian gym leader and became the head of team rocket. I think it could be plausible.
+Fujin-Raijin I don't think so, because in gen 2 team rocket didn't have an official leader when you went through the game, and they dispatched before one was appointed. In its remake, it was lead by its three admins.
What about the Pokemon War that Lt. Surge talks about? Maybe Red's dad died in that war and that's why he's always missing?. Same thing with Blue's parents.
Ok. So what I think happened was that there was a war with hoenn. Just take a look at Lt. Surge's text in red and blue. The parents might have died in the war
Could you possibly explain the battle chatelaines from XY and ORAS? They're kind of strange characters and I want to know what there overall goal with the battle Maison is. They're kind of unclear about what they want to accomplish...
that would awnser how blue became the leader in varidian since gen II, it would also awnser why oak never mentions his son/dauther, if giovanni would be oak's son he would be so ashamed that giovanni's dead to the always loving everyone oak, while trying to raise blue as a good kid together with blue's sister daisy giovanni looks up blue when they could be in a private moment and at that point slowly but steadly starts to presue blue in following into his footsteps, another theory that i got from this is maybe red and blue are brothers and thats why blue always act's so hard on red but red dos not know that the're brothers and so always wonders why blue always acts as a jerk to him
Happy thanksgiving. Also you are completely right about any kind of evidence about the where-a-bouts of the parents are really just subjective and not solid. I do favor the idea of Silver being ashes dad and Giovoni being red's dad, but it is just a hunch.
silver is giovanni's son, who is younger than red, and Giovanni does have a wife, who isn't ash's mom. they do state that Delia and Geovanni once did have a thing in the Pokemon live show, but that was cut off after she met ash's dad.
+Jerome Brizeno sorry i named the wrong guy. the person that I was mentioning was some older guy with silver hair that had a Chikorita on his shoulder. I thought his name was silver my bad.
Gary's parents died in a car crash while professor oak was inventing the pokedex. from then on gary's sister tried to take care of him along side oak. gary was only an infant. i know because it was in ken sugimori's own manga version of pokemon red and blue. i have it. it was SO HARD TO GET!!!!!!
+SouthMaster99 and if so, who made him evolve? Pichu evolves by friendship. Is that why Pikachu is so bitter and resentful to Ash at the start? Because he initially feels he can't trust again?
TheCoolJ101 ... what does that have to do with anything? This comment chain is talking about a theory that Pikachu was a Pichu at first. Which I was commenting about in turn. Why are you directing your comment back at me, and not the original poster who made the initial suggestion?
Hey Protomario, it doesnt make since for Blue to be related to Giovonee. Mostly because your rival from HG and SS, Silver it shows on an event that Giovonee could be related to Silver or what I think is his father.
Hey Proto there is still one more Theory you didn't tackle yet and it is the anime series took place in 6 gen because when you did a recent theory about the meteor that hit the other Hoenn region and why Steven mention about a boy and his black Charizard but the Deoxys Still landed in Hoenn while the remake didn't.
I want to know something that's been bothering me for a while. Absol is known as the disaster pokemon, it can learn thunder, blizzard, hail, sandstorm...but it can't learn earthquake why is that??
the trainers dad (ash red blu whatever you name it) dad is dead and the mum is so desperate for some fun she sends you off and professor oak gets jiggy with her
andreas aspenberg No, Red is the man you play as in Red, Blue, Fire Red, and Leaf Green. The dude that you battle in Gold, Silver, Crystal, Heart Gold, Soul Silver. Ash is only a kid that can't win that exists solely in the anime.
8 лет назад+1
andreas aspenberg Red is battled in Black & White 2, Gold, Silver, Crystal(And the Remakes) He is also mentioned in Sinnoh Games.
8 лет назад+1
andreas aspenberg The character name is the player's choice, not the actual game's choice, No matter what your name is it is neither Ash or Red. it's you
See, I agree with this why would people expect you to know who reds father is. It wouldn't really make sense for it to be Giovanni (who already has a son that looks nothing like red.)
+Jack Shomo "More information is revealed in Pokémon HeartGold and SoulSilver when a fateful encounter Celebi is brought to Ilex Shrine: Celebi takes the player back in time three years to witness Giovanni abandoning Silver to go into seclusion because of his defeat at the hands of Red. Silver's hate for Team Rocket apparently stems from the failure of his father."
I have a theory isn't the old professor bound to be old and died? so when ash first starts his journey in kanto can that prof.oak be red and somewhere in the story red lost memory or something? and blue/green turned into a scientist or researcher or something? just like Gary did? I mean come on that old prof.oak can't still be a live right? plz reply on what u think
I have to say with this pokemon theory of dad's working too much to spend time with the mc actually makes really good sense I mean if u look back into pokemon omega ruby and alpha sapphire or the originals the only father in all the games is norman and he's a gym leader who constantly spends time in his gym and rarely comes although there's not many known jobs in the pokemon game universe the whole culture part of the dads spending to much time working honestly makes the most sense with norman being a prime example of this.
Well the only games where we meet both parents are the gen 3 games (and remakes), and I think that's only because your character's dad is a gym leader in gen 3. so saying all or most of the parents are at work may be possible...on the other hand since most children go on journeys, we see that it is possible to make a very good living just being a Pokémon trainer (well maybe not, since a bike and a slowpoke tail cost 1,000,000 each, and the most money a trainer can have at one time is 999,999, so until we figure out what the deal is with their economy I guess it would be impossible to say whether or not a trainer could make enough money to support themselves and their families.)
Ok proto, go with me here. this theory is kinda weak but i believe ash's father is home and lives with the familes and is just at work all the time. I think ashes father dying would be a real impact on his self esteem and will power. daddy issues per-say. I dont think he would have the confidence to even start his adventure. Knowing he has the support of both of his parents would go a long way.
Uh, Proto, it's confirmed that Giovanni is actually the father of the rival from Generation 2, who goes by the default name of Silver. He is NOT Blue's father.
I think lance is red's dad, Giovanni is blues dad and his mom is one of the high ranking administrators of team rocket. blue and his sister would have been left with their grandfather because team rocket travels a lot. also if you can reference the indigo league season, Ash's father left to be a pokemon master. if he achieved his goal its very likely he could have climbed to be the dragon master. besides Lance Ketchum has a ring to it.
I'd really like a theory about Xerneas/Arceus and Yveltal/Giratina being two sets of twins, born at the beginning of everything. That aside, I kinda think that we do need to see more parents within the games. I doubt it will ever happen, but I'd really like to see a Pokemon game where your _dad_ sends you off on your adventure, because your _mum_ is the Regional Champion. I just want mum to actually matter for once, rather than just being a housewife who sends you on your merry way and then you never see her again. I mean, Dad can still be working, but maybe he's the assistant to the Professor (thus giving you the connections to get your very first Pokemon), so he's actually home more often than your mum. Cuz Dad works in the town.
Christian Tousent Well, yeah, I know- Hoenn is my favourite region, and that's what makes me want something more. Hoenn is the only region where you and your rivals have both parents.
Gary is Daisy's son. Daisy dies, and Gary goes to live with his great grandfather, calling him grandpa. Oak acknowledges his failure in raising Blue, and tries to overcompensate for this with Gary by spoiling him e.g. buying a 10 year old a car etc.
If the fathers are always working, that would explain why the fathers are always away and the kids have hundreds of poke'dollars to spend on battles.

+LOL Icon
Or the main characters could just be lucky they live in the same town and grew up being freinds with the regions most influential researchers.
Some of them at least...
True
Actually, its modeled after the yen... When you start the game, you have 3000, which was equivalent to about $30 U.S. Dollars.
What if the father of the trainer is you, the player, and you're watching the adventures of his child traveling through the various regions?
MIND BLOWN
tf lol
The usual top-down perspective of the games makes this dark...
We must be not very good father's then.
+MegaSonicViper so your watching your son picking up dirty stuff and entering houses like its there real home!?
it's confirmed Giovani is SILVER'S father
BUT PROTO ITS THANKSGIVING BUT PROTO WHAT POKEMON IS EATEN ON THANKSGIVING

I feel that the idea about no dads or anything has to do maybe with the creator maybe possibly didn't have his dad around as a kid
that would make sense
Raven Fantasy yah lmao
IceCreamFrost that's what usually happens to creators
Yuno Gasai Lmao funny but true
Obviously the fathers/mothers of all the trainers (all the ones that are missing) is trainer Joey with his rattata
But Proto! You are a dad too, shouldn't this mean that you are dead/missing too?!
+Shiny Swalot nah he just goes to a different version of pokemon
SGT MuffinBadger ;)
he will go to leaf green version
Yay
Hi again! Lol I saw you in candyevie’s video’s twice!

Cameron Naim yes Giovanni is their dad and Blue took over team Rocket.
Insurrective no way that’s bullshit silver is more like blue than red.

Then Later in the game you fight more adult trainers(Veterans, Expert, Dragon Tamers ) and a minimum of teen trainers(Ace trainers).
I have a theory: Are fire type Pokémon attacks a lot weaker than real fire? (Forests aren't usually burned down from attacks and Pokémon + People can withstand them better than real fires)
Happy thanksgiving dude!!!
In the 3rd generation was the only time I see the person you choose and the rival has both parents, I might be wrong but that's what I remember.
2:48 How is that Hex maniac supposed to be a parent? I feel like I have missed something.
+HORRIOR Hex Maniacs are adults.
ProtoMario Some are, but I'm not too sure about the Gen VI Hex Maniacs. They seem like the sort that the other version were in their teens XD
Heh, that could be a theory if you have a slow day.
+HORRIOR but 20 is classed a teenager/child in Japan like 16 is classed a teenager/child in other countries such as America and the UK
Do a theory about whether or not a Pokemon can be a Pokemon trainer?
Wasn't Giovanni Silvers father?
33foxs Maybe Giovanni gets around. 🤷♂️
Nothing implies he’s married to Ariana in the games either, yet Silver is pretty clearly her son.
I did enjoy the theory about rival being involved with team rocket, that part was cool.
The Majora's Mask game does have people walk around doing stuff.
But it is hard to implement a time function and to have non playable characters focusing on different tasks would not be able to cover up all the scenes where they take a bath or go to the toilet.
Only May/Ruby is the happy child.
Silver.. he has a dad but no mom.
+CNFunnyJon well, Ariana looks an awful lot like Silver... she could be his mom...
+DryBones271 I did hear about it. Just no true evidence... besides the desperate search for him. Some think it's Jessie.
Jessie, and Giovanni? Probably not...
Yeah. But the guy was very persuasive.
what if the parents are part of villian teams like the admins in team flare there are loads
Dang. This was a great video Proto! Keep it up!
Thank you for not changing your voice at the 'but proto' part
But proto not everyone celebrates thanksgiving
+Mitchel Dec Yeah XD
+Eddie Walls it actually isn't because thanksgiving has religion so it's everywhere it's too give thanks obviously lol
+Mitchel Dec We don't either here in my country.
+Eddie Walls the us isn't the only country canada has thanksgiving (or something of the sort) a month earlier
Wolftamer Wolfcorp Ya it's called Halloween...
Thanks for making a theory on thanksgiving proto
What if there was a huge outbreak of unown that took everyones parents? DUN DUN DUUUUUUUN
TBH I have no idea
+Eddie Walls unknown isn't a disease it's a pokemon do wym immune?
Ha ok cool
the results would be..... (takes off shades) UNKNOWN YEAHHHHHHH!!!!!
+Fujin-Raijin completely stupid
It makes a lot of sense as eve in the later games, with times and days, gym leaders are never at home sleeping or anything always just standing there waiting for a trainer to arrive so they can get money to spend like maybe 1000 poke dollars on things and the rest goes else where. Game freak could easily make a wait mechanic but they don't so this says to me that this could be the answer people working all hours of the day and night as a reason to why some parents are never seen
I've never really thought about Blue joining Team Rocket...interesting idea...
we already has thanksgiving in Canada last month
In Soul Silver, of what I have heard, Giovanni is your rival's father in that game. (Still talking about Soil Silver)
*Phone starts buzzing*
Phil- Screw this...
Boss- What's wrong?
Phil- THERE'S A FRICKEN SHINEY CHARIZARD!!!
Boss- The 3rd time this week? Okay... Go for it.
But Proto what if blue is the secret leader of team rocket
And your evidence is.....?
+Arkdragonman Well, First blue joined team rocket. (watch the gnoggin vid for full details) and after Giovanni retired, Blue took over as the viridian gym leader and became the head of team rocket. I think it could be plausible.
+Fujin-Raijin I don't think so, because in gen 2 team rocket didn't have an official leader when you went through the game, and they dispatched before one was appointed. In its remake, it was lead by its three admins.
Id like that
What about the Pokemon War that Lt. Surge talks about? Maybe Red's dad died in that war and that's why he's always missing?. Same thing with Blue's parents.
Ok. So what I think happened was that there was a war with hoenn. Just take a look at Lt. Surge's text in red and blue. The parents might have died in the war
Thanks for not letting the intro hurt my ears again.
"I know I usually do theories on Tuesdays and Thursdays"
Still uploaded on Thursday. (At least for me)
Could you possibly explain the battle chatelaines from XY and ORAS? They're kind of strange characters and I want to know what there overall goal with the battle Maison is. They're kind of unclear about what they want to accomplish...
that would awnser how blue became the leader in varidian since gen II, it would also awnser why oak never mentions his son/dauther, if giovanni would be oak's son he would be so ashamed that giovanni's dead to the always loving everyone oak, while trying to raise blue as a good kid together with blue's sister daisy giovanni looks up blue when they could be in a private moment and at that point slowly but steadly starts to presue blue in following into his footsteps, another theory that i got from this is maybe red and blue are brothers and thats why blue always act's so hard on red but red dos not know that the're brothers and so always wonders why blue always acts as a jerk to him
divorce and terrible car crashes is what happen.......so tragic
+Jerome Brizeno so yeah i was talking about a second silver from pokemon chronicles. There is already a theory about him being ash's dad.
But proto, isn't your rival from HG/SS (gold and silver) father Giovanni? I believe it says it in the celebi event.
Gary's parents died in a car crash while professor oak was inventing the pokedex. from then on gary's sister tried to take care of him along side oak. gary was only an infant. i know because it was in ken sugimori's own manga version of pokemon red and blue. i have it. it was SO HARD TO GET!!!!!!
proto was ash's pikachu once a pichu?
Good question
+SouthMaster99 and if so, who made him evolve? Pichu evolves by friendship. Is that why Pikachu is so bitter and resentful to Ash at the start? Because he initially feels he can't trust again?
+tiny punkabuu you are able to catch a Pikachu in Viridian Forest in Kanto; that must have been where Pikachu was from
TheCoolJ101 ... what does that have to do with anything? This comment chain is talking about a theory that Pikachu was a Pichu at first. Which I was commenting about in turn. Why are you directing your comment back at me, and not the original poster who made the initial suggestion?
+tiny punkabuu pichu didnt exist (as in being created so the grass must have pooped him out or something) but in a chronological order then probably
do more theories like this. it was good
Hey Protomario, it doesnt make since for Blue to be related to Giovonee. Mostly because your rival from HG and SS, Silver it shows on an event that Giovonee could be related to Silver or what I think is his father.
Did you know that Giovanni is officially the silver's father. It is confirmed in the pokemon origins anime.
Proto! What does diglet look like under the ground?... And what about when you're surfing? How does that even work??
Kingdra ate all of the parents. Don't underestimate the Almighty Kingdra
proto are all legendrys imortal
Hey Proto there is still one more Theory you didn't tackle yet and it is the anime series took place in 6 gen because when you did a recent theory about the meteor that hit the other Hoenn region and why Steven mention about a boy and his black Charizard but the Deoxys Still landed in Hoenn while the remake didn't.
I want to know something that's been bothering me for a while.
Absol is known as the disaster pokemon, it can learn thunder, blizzard, hail, sandstorm...but it can't learn earthquake why is that??
The guy who wrote the original 2 seasons of the anime wrote some books explaining these things.
the trainers dad (ash red blu whatever you name it) dad is dead and the mum is so desperate for some fun she sends you off and professor oak gets jiggy with her
Red is Ash's dad, and he is deeeeeeeeeeeaaaaaad
and you are dead.
red came after ash....
andreas aspenberg No, Red is the man you play as in Red, Blue, Fire Red, and Leaf Green. The dude that you battle in Gold, Silver, Crystal, Heart Gold, Soul Silver. Ash is only a kid that can't win that exists solely in the anime.
andreas aspenberg Red is battled in Black & White 2, Gold, Silver, Crystal(And the Remakes) He is also mentioned in Sinnoh Games.
andreas aspenberg The character name is the player's choice, not the actual game's choice, No matter what your name is it is neither Ash or Red. it's you
See, I agree with this why would people expect you to know who reds father is. It wouldn't really make sense for it to be Giovanni (who already has a son that looks nothing like red.)
BUT PROTO NORMAN IS A GYM LEADER AND A DAD YOU FOOL!
Isn't Giovanni Silver's father
+Jack Shomo "More information is revealed in Pokémon HeartGold and SoulSilver when a fateful encounter Celebi is brought to Ilex Shrine: Celebi takes the player back in time three years to witness Giovanni abandoning Silver to go into seclusion because of his defeat at the hands of Red. Silver's hate for Team Rocket apparently stems from the failure of his father."
There's actually a video of a theory on Gnoggin's channel about Blue/Green joining Team Rocket
You mean turd
(its what proto called blue/green in the game footage in this vid)
Ninshisho Kasai Oh ok sorry
DarkHero - Destiny & BO3 Content why are you saying sorry
all parents turned into pokemon
I have a theory isn't the old professor bound to be old and died? so when ash first starts his journey in kanto can that prof.oak be red and somewhere in the story red lost memory or something? and blue/green turned into a scientist or researcher or something? just like Gary did? I mean come on that old prof.oak can't still be a live right? plz reply on what u think
Is it me or are you coming up with more Pokémon theorys recently?
according to the anime/manga ashes dad or reds dad is on his own pokemon journey
Merry thansgiving proto
What if ash’s mom was the Boss Of team rocket Instead of Giovani ?
there all at war cuz towns are small(from battles) and that raichu trainer guy talks about war
what if red is ash's father
Ok proto, go with me here. this theory is kinda weak but i believe ash's father is home and lives with the familes and is just at work all the time. I think ashes father dying would be a real impact on his self esteem and will power. daddy issues per-say. I dont think he would have the confidence to even start his adventure. Knowing he has the support of both of his parents would go a long way.
silver isthe son of giovanni
they all went to Pokemon conquest
But Proto Alpha Sapphire/Omega Ruby does show both of your parents your mother is at the beginning and your father is the next town over's Gym Leader
Uh, Proto, it's confirmed that Giovanni is actually the father of the rival from Generation 2, who goes by the default name of Silver. He is NOT Blue's father.
BUT PROTO HAPPY THANKSGIVING, BUT PROTO HOPE YOU HAD AN AWESOME DAY!
hey proto what is luga exactly it is never explained what it is it reminds me of a dragon or something but I would really like to know
OMG I REMEMBER HIM WHEN HE HAD LIKE NO SUBS OMG
maybe the trainers fathers are stationed at a different region for work or research
BUT PROTO!! i think reds father is a trainer and must have being doing.... trainer stuff.
in fire red and leaf green ashes dad is the fourth gym leader he uses Gras type Pokémon
does my shiny arcanine count as a legendary?
But Proto, couldn't Giovanni be like Blue's uncle or something?
Let's not forget on silver and gold gary/blue is viridian city gym leader
I think lance is red's dad, Giovanni is blues dad and his mom is one of the high ranking administrators of team rocket. blue and his sister would have been left with their grandfather because team rocket travels a lot. also if you can reference the indigo league season, Ash's father left to be a pokemon master. if he achieved his goal its very likely he could have climbed to be the dragon master. besides Lance Ketchum has a ring to it.
Giovonni is Silver's dad and Lance tried to kill Red.
+Dabt0402 Yah he and the elite four teamed up in an attempt to kill Red
Well in hoenn dad is a gym leader so that's something at least and you have both your parents
Christian Tousent Well, yeah, I know- Hoenn is my favourite region, and that's what makes me want something more. Hoenn is the only region where you and your rivals have both parents.
