Intro Music: Chymera - Valerian (2019 version, Originally released 2008)
I never get tired of this song man!
Amazing song. Definitely takes you on a journey. A friend of mine once asked me, "What is the soundtrack of your life?" And I picked this track without hesitation.
No matter how many times I listen to the album version the build up to that drop just smashes.
Me tooo
@@technoreactions8790 totally agree 👍
f..kn masterpiece.
deadmau5 is not just a random EDM artist, so much of what he did, said on streams, it's way more than just music he makes. He is 3D artist, an engineer, streamer, business leader, consultant, end-to-end producer...... He legitimately has given me useful advice, made tons of jokes I would laugh a lot. He understand music industry like no one (publicly) shows. I have learned so much about copyright, random info about analogs just watching his streams. It's insane how much he knows, what successful team be built. It's impossible to compare to anyone honestly. His music begun as a "counter-culture" to fun and uplifting house music and electro of 90s' and 2000s, and hit with Faxing Berlin, a lull, melancholic track... and it HIT THE RIGHT SPOT!
P.S. I see you got that PRYDA album! Fun fact: Joel and Eric are good friends and respect each other a lot. I love Eric's music, too.
Yes Deadmau5 has been a favorite of mine since my youth! I still always jam to the remix he did of Medina (You and i). It is still one of the best vocal prog house tracks to date. :)
I explored deep into his catalog of music for such a long time. Also a huge fan of his darker "Testpilot" alias.
Speaking of him and Eric Prydz, I also love the b2b live sets they did together back then.
Thank you for your comment GOOD STUFF! 🔥👊
@@technoreactions8790 yoooooo you're a real fan of deadmau5 shoutout to you!!!
@@NOVAsteamed Thanks :D
The reason I think deadmau5 hates the term edm is the same reason I hate the term EDM.. People should call it what it actually is.. House/progressive house/techno/deep house.. Etc. The proper genre this song falls under is Progressive house/ambient
@@spaceghostcoasttocoast4692 Well music purist hate the term EDM as its used by normies as a umbrella word for a very broad genre of music that spans multiple genres and sub genres. Those normies are the drug junkies that only go there to dress almost naked and get high while making videos and pics for their instagram page to get likes. I use to think degenerates were people getting high at music concerts of these genres but these modern day normies proved me wrong there....
i loved the fact that at the end he was 128 on his heart pulsations and 128 is the number of the BPM that this track has
m a g i c
Thanks! That’s a great observation 👌🙌
kinda sus
@@mangomariel what are the odds….
@@kyotodreams3306 idk, maybe his pulse could realistically range from 60 to 150 in that situation? so like 1.11% chance? I`m not a doctor tho, but ... kinda sus ....
It’s not a coincidence it’s something that happens naturally
I wish I could hear this song for the first time again
Me too . and go nuts ❤️
Strobe inspired me to pursue producing....
It's always those special tracks! Mine was "Human Behavior" by Eric Prydz
@@technoreactions8790 "Opus" is my favourite Eric pryds track
@@WaMo721 Yes the legendary "OPUS". The buildup melody is one to never forget!
I can relate to that bro
….? Wtf you producing? You never know man those dots worry me
Probably one of the best dance songs ever produced imo got me though some hard times. Brings me back this tune what a tune & what an artist.
Amen to that! I cosign that statement. Seriously!
1801. Beethoven's Moonlight Sonata.. 2009.... Deadmau5's Strobe.. it's that much of a masterpiece. It's been over 12 years and it's still the best damn EDM song ever.
He does strike the notes just right to hit ya right. Also still making music, bless this artist, we're lucky to hear this magic.
Pure bliss man. This song will be legendary for generations to come!
Such a masterpiece. Still my favorite after all these years. I don't even do ecstasy anymore, but this song takes me back every time. Lol.
That slow-down around @6:17 leading to that transition into the start of tension around @6:35 is just so subtle, slow and good. Deadmau5 is a hero.
yes
my favorite part of the whole song
The progression in this track is fuckin legendary. Like you said it really takes you on a journey. The way the intro builds up, slowly introducing each layer which all harmonically fit together like a sandwich from heaven. Then it somehow manages to transition to the main part where it’s not very layered at all, yet the layers that are present are so full that they fill up the mix perfectly. And lets not even start about that build up, that’s how you’re supposed to do an EDM buildup instead of the repeating kick gradually getting faster. Yessir, this song is a certified hood classic
4:58 This was my favorite part of the song when the bass slowly starts kicking in! 👍🔥❤
The howls and the shaker are so good.
I saw deadmau5 for the first time live back in 2019, I actually went to both of the shows he played in my city - one being on New Year's Eve 2019, going into 2020...At that time I had been a fan for pretty much a decade, ever since I was a young kid. I almost cried when he performed this song...I waited nearly a decade to see, let alone hear him perform this masterpiece live! Staring up at the cube with this song playing, especially building up to the drop, felt amazingly mesmerizing. I wish I could go back...
Amazing! I have yet to see Deadmau5 perform live but it would be a dream come true if I could! :D
He played this song live at a concert I went to, blew me away
Just imagine listening to this song while stargazing. Just thinking about it gives me goosebumps. This song is a masterpiece .
First time I ever heard this I was in high school, in my old jeep liberty where the whole roof went back. Smoking a blunt with my boys staring at the stars. Incredible
Ahhh@@patrickn8355
This song takes me back for sure!!
Pure classic 👌
Maybe one of the most emotionals tracks that I ever heard
Deadmau5's stairway to heaven song
atemporal music
My favorite song 8 years after I first heard it and I listen to a LOT of music.
That's a BOLD statement and it's no surprise either!
funny how his heartrate went to a constant bpm of 128, the bpm of the song
This is easily in my top 10 songs of all time, across all genres.
This song is a roller coaster of emotions for sure
:')
Seeing this song live on a proper system is life changing! Great analysis!
Thank you I'm glad you enjoyed it!
Blew me away the first time i heard this.
Great video! I felt it with you!
Same :)
I love your enthusiasm when the beat dropped
there's something magical about this song man, i can vividly remember times where i listened to it completely, it something that doesnt happen with very few songs.
This song is a living animal...encoded in sintetic melodies, but you can understand it purely..
Sublime masterpiece! That's why EDM, at least for most of the genres, is the best music! 👍💯👍
just cried.............. seeing you react was GOLD to me... I don't know how mau5 does it but he did bro!
gr8 work man, I can see that you love music so much lmao. Keep it up!
Thanks man! Yes indeed I do. I'm a true musical empath.
Funny story how I discovered deadmau5 was from this game called test drive unlimited 2 ghost and stuff was on the game so I listen to it and I’ve been hook since ever
Haha I remember that game. That's awesome ✌️
LOL I love this!
Thank-you :)
Honestly didnt listen to deadmau5. I knew who he was but never listened to his music and omg this song is like my fav edm song of all time
He created a freaking masterpiece. 🙌
@@technoreactions8790 Yes he did
It took 11 minutes, but all our heart rates lock in to Strobe's BPM sooner or later.
This song sounds like its made in era between 2015-2020... Sure as hell didn't sound like anything from 2009 era. Nothing to compare it to so Deadmau5 thought it was trash. He reluctantly put it on his album dead last but audience loved it.
my fave remix of this song is "Sparkee's NuDisco Arrangement". it has electric guitars & even a bongo break. and the bassline . . .
my mans matching his heart bpm with the track's bpm
Man was V I B I N G love to see it!
Deadmau5 is the exact reason I became a huge fan of house.. Also you should do a reaction to his song COASTED
Will do! Noted!
Feet to the fire? Opinion required?
This is in my opinion a perfect song and perhaps the best track deadmau5 will ever produce. Something about this track is special.
I have heard this song probably 100+ times and I am still uncertain exactly why everything is so perfectly glued together and the melody is so perfect.
Amazing reaction dude. This is exactly how I feel while listening to this song.
Great song and great reaction 🎧
Good job bro
Thanks my brotha! 💪
Its 2022 and he still legendary
Happy 909 day.
cool thing is if you look up this dude on twitch he streams live all the time producing new music. He's an actual genius of our time
I get you man
great great to see you enjoy that great sound 😁😁😁😁👍👍
thank you for share this excellent music video
There you go!!!!
excellent music video , I really love it
Why does your heartrate match the bpm of the track in the outro? 👀
a modern symphony!
Very very very nice video😘😘😘
8:42 is the best ever! ❤️
:)
yep great song..other older deaudmau5 numbers also greaaaaattt and legend
Perfect song and reaction
Thanks! :)
melting time!! 8:15
Oh yes! :D
best bike ride
Pure flame
Deadmau5 didnt make dance music back then he made beautiful symphonies. I saw him my first time in 2009 when I was 17 at the cow palace when ghost n stuff just started popping off on myspace.
Melodic Techno is not dance music by default. The influences are multispectrum. One of the strongest influences is definitely symphonic/cinematic flavors.
The sound just so happens to overlap with dance music.
The 2 drops in this song are perfect imo. The first is off beat and in pocket, and perhaps even out of key with the reverb. (Personally, I call that effect a "melodic reverb/noise wall".)
The main drop is a perfect crescendo. The dissonance of the first drop as a memory combines with the perfect cascade of the full spectrum sound.
This is a perfect song.
Happy 909 day. Sept 9, 2022.
@@py_a_thon I just randomly decided to listen to this reaction to the song again and it still gives me goosebumps. It's like my brain still remembers how beautiful this song is from hearing it live. Deadmau5 put me in a trance.
@@py_a_thon You could not have described it more perfectly
@@irollerblade13 Flim - by Aphex Twin is another song that is imo...just absolutely perfect.
And if you hear a jazz drummer play the drums live(with brushes and/or sticks)....ugh, sounds so amazing.
I ♥️ this music😘
wow, is that heart rate indicator real? nice touch.
Yup, the heart rate monitor is a live tracking of my actual heart-rate! (It's a device that displays as a widget)
Great channel, would have loved to hear your thoughts at the end though !
Thanks Etienne!
You know, I strongly considered it for this kind of content but I think sticking to the reactions which is sort of like a review throughout would be the best thing. I would like to include strictly reviews in future videos though!
@@technoreactions8790 Ok I understand ! Thank you !
…I’m gonna say it…best song of all time….idc
I like the way you ended that. Nothing. Fitting. The song said it all for you, the end. ✌🤟
Love from strobe_2021💕❤💕❤💕
Thanks :)
Love it
Faxing Berlin 👍👍👍👍💪💪💪
Not exactly 💪💪💪💪💪💪💪
You know mango?damn
Yes Mango is one of my favorite progressive house music producers.
@@technoreactions8790 for sure, his music brought me back when I quit producing music, even tho that was a while back I still enjoy most of his tracks even today....
What is the song in the intro
react to 'zulu' and 'strand' by stephan bodzin.

No one sounds like Joel.
If you think this is great...listen to Resaved Live...thank me later. ;)
woah dude, at the end where the beat plays, your heart rate was the same as the bpm of the song, THAT WEIRD DUDE
Crazy right 🤣
Time stamp?
@@giltyakhtar just go listen and enjoy it all :)
Strobe is one of the most epic electronic songs I can remember. This track will hopefully live on like “stairway to heaven,” to my mother and old sister. I love them, but their taste in music is garbage. CHEERS!
nothing ever comes close to strobe
4:38 is where my body and mind lose it!
Been listening to Deadmau5 since 2006 and I still get goosebumps from his songs to this day, even after listening to them hundreds of times!
