I’m not familiar with this group, but it’s very likely they made a studio version completely chopped up and mixed, and then recorded a video of them playing live. Still not easy, but different.
The arpeggio melody by deadmau5 (aka Joel Zimmerman) is honestly his best work imo. The melody is entirely melodic, static and "predictable", yet constantly overflows into a potential polyrhythm.
The way this song builds tension and release is so much more subdued and beautiful than your typical EDM song with a huge drop telegraphed a mile away.

Technically virtually impossible to reproduce, semi-acoustically. Yet they did. This performance deserves SO much exposure. Truely inspiring in every sense imaginable. DeadMau5 agrees, I'm sure.

Then there is this live production of the electronic track. This drummer is a beast- and to reproduce the Deadmau5 sound live is a feat in and of itself. Very impressive original track, IMO even more impressive done live by these guys. Well done!
I can’t believe I’m just hearing this for the first time. It’s a masterpiece. To reproduce this semi acoustically is insanely difficult but you guys nailed it. I will definitely be returning to this from time to time.
