when i saw the comment section, i though this would be some sort of outrageous version of strobe or just a very bad try. But i was wrong, this remake its absoultely fantastic, strobe its a very difficult song to recreate, and a lot of the sounds in this remake are on point.
Everybody's a critic! Good effort mate, A few beers in you and a couple of other party help alongs and nobody would tell the difference! You've recreated something that you like and taken a decent stab at it. Keep going mate, we all started from somewhere.
DJDCann Do it mate The more you try to recreate the sound, the more experience you gain and the better at it you become. Of course it isn't a carbon copy of the original but as I said before you've made a decent stab at it. I don't know how old you are but from the video you sound young(ish) and I would hate to think that some of the comments on here would turn you away from (possibly) making a career out of something you have an interest in and have some skill at doing or worse turn you away from something you do in your spare time because you enjoy doing it! All the best to you DJDCann; don't let them turn you into DJDCannt! :)
jpmsmi I really don't care about the haters. I've just grown out of it with school and work and all. Still make some music in my spare time every once in a while
I see people complaining about the mixing and i agree. It's not the best but really enjoy this. The melody is right (unlike any other remake on the internet) this is like a raw mix of strobe and i really enjoy it. You did good with the lifters and other sound.
This is really good! This goes to show how good deadmau5 really is ( I'm no producer, music composer, or whatever) but you can tell of the difference in quality. Nonetheless, awesome job it sound great!
Amazingly done. I can't deny how much efforts you must've put in order to recreate this masterpiece of EDM music. Congratulations man, you honored the track :)
@Auxero Ok no need to be mean lol, maybe he doesn't have the best ears buutttttt it's really hard to remake a song because it's impossible to replicate the same mixing, mastering, and sound design. Plus it's made by someone who had 10+ years of production experience. This remake wasn't bad at all.
@Auxero If you have a lot of experience and know how to get a very specific sound, sure. But to PERFECTLY replicate a song is impossible, that's what I meant. Automation, percussion, synths, samples, mixing, volume, effects, composition, the list goes on for all of the things you would have to mimic. So even if the guy who made this didn't have the experience, it's still really diffucult.
@Auxero Its not impossible to get a really close remake, I'm saying it's impossible to get it exact lol. I've heard some really close remakes too, but you can't replicate the atmosphere and vibe a song emits perfectly, the original will always be better than a remake. That's why it's impossible.
@Auxero I mean, you're not wrong. Songs that a producer made a long time ago could be remade with better production, and would techically sound better.
This sounds great! Especially the main melody synths, muy nice. One thing I would change though is the kick... It sounds good, but it is the default kick in FL Studio (I've used FL quite a bit), and it pulls me out a bit.
wow. amazing. i JUST got into making music and i LOVE this song. After seeing how hard it is to make a 1 minute song this looks impossible to me lol. great job
man this is so dope. you have good ears. chords, bassline everything is beautiful. very curious on how your make the fx and white noise. if you can share the flp ill be really happy. but anyway, respect man
That arrow button underneath the Loop Recording button, you should click on it. Then you wouldn't need to manually scroll along with the time marker the whole time :P
the talent is not recreating it as it is not your idea but inspiration in you that made it. the true talent is inspiring people to do things like this by works of genius and making an original idea
This is not a remix this is a very poor copy. If this was a class room and you handed in a report where you copied the text books word for word, you would get an F for forgery.
Dude this is by far the best remake I've heard using fl studio. I dunno how u did this its amazing. how did u get the exact fx and everything? and please teach me some production skills cause im also wanting to try produce music
what is the nexus preset u used for the beginning of the track? im tryn to learn to play the whole song on my keyboard and it would be awesome to do it with the closest possible sound to the original :D
wow am so.... i dont even have anything to say GOOD JOB BRO!! now exactly the same to the original but wow really nice bro... start producing your own songs
Amazing!! Just a question from where do you get the audio clips (5:19 at the top) Those prepared audio clips that are used in build ups and drops? Do you download them from somewhere or do you prepare them & then render them and use them when needed?
when i saw the comment section, i though this would be some sort of outrageous version of strobe or just a very bad try. But i was wrong, this remake its absoultely fantastic, strobe its a very difficult song to recreate, and a lot of the sounds in this remake are on point.
Hate to break it to you but its actually really badly remade
Everybody's a critic! Good effort mate, A few beers in you and a couple of other party help alongs and nobody would tell the difference! You've recreated something that you like and taken a decent stab at it. Keep going mate, we all started from somewhere.
jpmsmi Thanks a lot man really appreciate your comment. Makes me want to start making music again

@@DJDCann so did you get back to it?
I see people complaining about the mixing and i agree. It's not the best but really enjoy this. The melody is right (unlike any other remake on the internet) this is like a raw mix of strobe and i really enjoy it. You did good with the lifters and other sound.
really appreciating joels sound design hearing the melodies with other synths
Lovely!
You can repeat the whole track Deadmau5 One plus one No pressure Remix?
This is by far the best strobe remake on youtube, maybe even the best remake in fl studio ever!
This is really good! This goes to show how good deadmau5 really is ( I'm no producer, music composer, or whatever) but you can tell of the difference in quality.
Nonetheless, awesome job it sound great!
I didnt knew it was not good until i read the comments lolz.
I think it's amazing. A LOT of good work. Keep it up man.
Felt as great as if I was listening to the original! Great work man
Amazingly done. I can't deny how much efforts you must've put in order to recreate this masterpiece of EDM music. Congratulations man, you honored the track :)
Lol that snare at the drop made me laugh, but Good job man, nice work.
I like how he swings his mice arrow. lol i was doing the same XD
Best remake I've ever heard!
This is amazing bro , listening in 2022 😎💯💯
Solid effort
DEFAULT DRUM SOUNDS
Wub Wub Cat Well, Deadmau5 did use FL Studio at one point before he switched to Ableton
Also he used Cubase
@@ttroyscarrlett that doesn't mean he used the default kicks
@@Koru2k no but it also doesn't mean he didn't
We do know for sure that he does own FL Studio so it's a possibility.
Awesome job dude, thanks for this. Can't find a decent version of this masterpiece without an ad before the drop.
I actually forgot that I wasn't listening to the actual song. Well done.
WammyCast Same here. End result just blew me away

Funny thing that is almost sounds like the one Deadmau5 used xD
Yeah, but it does sound like was EQed a bit
Of course the melody sounds nice it was written buy deadmau5 . And the mix is horrible it hurts I am physically cringing at some parts.
@@Patrik2166 Well you know Deadmau5 used to use Fl? Maybe its the same kick!
Awesome job overall man. Big fan of the original, big fan of your remake!
Wow, really good job on this bro🔥🔥🔥 haha I see this 7 years later in my recommended. 18 hours is a lot tho. Keep up the good work
The best remake
Awesome bro....u nailed it. keep it up.
U are very talented for remakeing this work of art well done thats an amazing remake and im sure everyone agrees im subbed to u now wow just wow
Excellent Nice Job. It's very cool, that is strobe
Pattern 11 sounds 100% on to me! Can't tell the difference!
You nailed the lead synth! I would suggest a little sidechaining though...
excellent work my friend
nice bro. made a remake sound different but the same. good job! Love the natural piano. Fits in just perfect.
wow. amazing. i JUST got into making music and i LOVE this song. After seeing how hard it is to make a 1 minute song this looks impossible to me lol. great job
You flipping Nailed it!!
good job dude! damn! :D
Amazing
this sounds good, i'm not going to criticise you on anything that is different from the original because this song sounds as close as you're gonna get
pure hardwork dude!!!!superb
best I've heard so far...
Good job there. Can hear the effort
could I have a copy?
man this is so dope. you have good ears. chords, bassline everything is beautiful. very curious on how your make the fx and white noise. if you can share the flp ill be really happy. but anyway, respect man
this is shit that's why he doesn't have the flp
Great job! What was the name of the sample you used for the snap sound you used in the intro.
That arrow button underneath the Loop Recording button, you should click on it. Then you wouldn't need to manually scroll along with the time marker the whole time :P
nice! this seems really hard to reproduce and i don't have the patience or skill to do this, so nice job
Sounds incredible!
Very very good
I enjoyed it I agree that it needs to not redline the whole song but the midi is great.
absolutely love it....Impressive remake
Awesome! That's the only thing I can say for this stuff.
Holy crap this is awesome! Great work! 😎
Very very good remix, i think one should be EXTREMELY talented to come up with such a fine tune , and as talented to recreate it .
GREAT JOB
Rafael Gilman remix?
the talent is not recreating it as it is not your idea but inspiration in you that made it. the true talent is inspiring people to do things like this by works of genius and making an original idea
This is not a remix this is a very poor copy. If this was a class room and you handed in a report where you copied the text books word for word, you would get an F for forgery.
awesome
I reeeeally like this. Maybe add some sidechain to progressive part? Would make everything sound more rhythmic than it does as it stands right now.
Hello dear....good time.can i have this flp project?
Amazing...loved it
Sounds pretty nice! Must make remake of my own
Amazing effort dude, well done!
Very well done
good job, you nailed it with the kick and some drums but the rest is perfect lmao
You know that "nailing" something actually means that it's perfect^^
oh
what
I thought that it was more like you didn't make it perfect lol
btw the remake was good but it could be better ;)
Ahre
^^ well it's mostly used in a sarcastic way so it's often misunderstood
sorry lol
Thanks for sharing man, this project looks amazing for live playing. Congratulations.
This is sick dude nice one!
Great job
Great work mate! Your efforts were fruitful. :)
Really nice work man, sounds like much work ;)
I love the beginning
Really great done, maybe some bass compressing would be nice but yet it is great how it is! :)
Dude this is by far the best remake I've heard using fl studio. I dunno how u did this its amazing. how did u get the exact fx and everything? and please teach me some production skills cause im also wanting to try produce music
Thanks man. The fx were really simple. All i did was take some symbal crashes and snaps and add some reverb or delay.
Serious? shit that's good. u should like do a video on equalising/mastering a song. Many people get stuck on that.
exotic awesome teach me tooooooooooo.............................
worked vry hard
Sounds great. You’ve blessed my feed. 💞
Amazing!
Really epic!
Respect man!
Very nice!
good job man
bro can you please send the drop pluck midi

Respect !!
Wow man that is really good!
Great job!
Deadmau5 diamond trance

Good Job man! Keep it up!

More
what is the nexus preset u used for the beginning of the track?
im tryn to learn to play the whole song on my keyboard and it would be awesome to do it with the closest possible sound to the original :D
Banana just use any piano synth. They all work the same.
wow am so.... i dont even have anything to say GOOD JOB BRO!! now exactly the same to the original but wow really nice bro... start producing your own songs
really good remake, but the piano notes should be sustained ever so slightly to make it less choppy.
thank you thank you thank you
Amazing!❤
This video NEEDS my like
Sounds great, but you should really sidechain, bud.
Does strobe even have sidechaining
CuffRox Actually, it sounds like it doesn't. Maybe Joel did something with the drums.
SMUS16475 Probably has some powerful drums
CuffRox Yeah. Perhaps.
What causes an auto sidechain xD
flp bro please
great project
This is just awesome, what d'ya think about a collab?
Longest patterns I've ever seen
can u giv me the project pls
Amazing!! Just a question from where do you get the audio clips (5:19 at the top) Those prepared audio clips that are used in build ups and drops? Do you download them from somewhere or do you prepare them & then render them and use them when needed?
Ahmed Yehia I created them myself. Just try playing around with different cymbals with lots of reverb and a filter
