Left turn gives me wash-cycle wipers (but no juice), flashers on makes wipers run, horn sounds funny. Hope it's this switch. Just pulled a junker and trying to get the tilt-lever out of this one without marring it up--it's round all the way, no flats at all.
There could be a wire(s) grounding out from the tilt steering. The 96 ram I currently own has the brake light on and turn signals don't work...low and behold when I installed a deck a few weeks ago then turned my key on to verify it working properly before I finished installing the trim pieces my windows wouldn't roll up...the wheel was a bit in my way so I tilted it up and when I did my brake light turned off and the air bag light came on and the windows started working again 😅. Electrical gremlins of being an old truck. So try moving your tilt up and down while working the switch and see if it changes what's happening. Report back here if you don't mind as I'd like to know also
Mine went bad after hauling a big ol trailer, turning right would make both turn signals come on! Banging on it would fix it for about 30 seconds, guess I have two options for hazards now.
For the side screws they have a stupid recessed screw inside a 3" long skinny tunnel. You need an abnormally long bit or a super skinny bit driver. I didn't have either so I had to drill the tunnel out to get my bit driver to fit inside.
The head light switch that you pull out to turn your headlight on is crap. I've literally replaced one in ever dodge Ram I've owned. I highly suggest getting one with a lifetime warranty as I've had them fail again in a year or so. I blame the repeated failures on the heater vent blasting excessive heat right under that part coupled with the electrical current generating its own heat especially with high beams on

got mine at NAPA, because I lost the set I bought at my other local-operated parts house. Works great--why not use hollow-point T20 drivers all the time!

Lenny thanks for this helpful video! Did you have to worry about or disable the airbag circuit for this repair?
99 dodge, blinkers wont work but wipers do, could it be a faulty switch?

2001 dodge ram blinkers/wipers not working. Wasn't fuses and wasn't multifunction switch. What else can it be?
Is 85 &95 Dodge Dakota tumbler & ignition switch interchangeable
Will this multi function switch fit my 2000 dodge ram van 3500???
There's no flats on the tilt lever on my 98 12v. TOUGH to get a grip on it.
Get a pair of Knipex channel locks like he used. You'll thank me later
