    Speedybee Adapter 3 can used to get 5v power from 2s-6s batteries. It also comes with an OTG cable to use with your phone, along with its normal function of giving a "wireless" connection to your drone for tuning. It's a sweet piece of tech!

    Very informative video. I'm looking to turn this camera into an everyday action cam for me skateboard or gokart session.. What will be your recommendation to have a compact and sturdy solution? I'm planning on mounting it here and there, even on a hat if it's not too heavy.

    You can also power it with a 4s-6s balance connector with a BEC cable.

      That's a link to the Thrunite emergency flashlight power bank. Its output is 5v at 1a and the battery lasts a super long time using the included flashlight attachment. I use it as a night light while settling into bed and only charge it once a year so far. It can also function as a normal 21700 delivering 3.6v 5,000mah with the flashlight attachment removed.

      Hey thank you so much! If your flight controller doesn't have a spare 5volt output that you can solder a power and ground to you will have to make a 5volt output off of your battery by using a bec to step down the battery voltage. Most RC becs you'll find can step voltage down from 2s-6s batteries to a steady 5volt to power the camera. Sorry for the wall of text if I find a good video explaining it better I'll link that here. ruclips.net/video/cOfS_R5xCHQ/видео.html Send me a link to you flight controller if you can.

      @@techtactool5756 Thanks for the response. I do not use a flight controllers in my planes , they are small 230grs. My receover does not have a BEC , it has just the connection to the servos. can i use the receiver port for the servos to get the 5V, i may have one available? I will check the view. Thanks!!

    • @techtactool5756
      @techtactool5756  Год назад

      @@alexherrera3918 As long as the receiver port is putting out constant 5v that would be perfect. In that video at about 8:30 he starts making what I think you would need if the receiver port doesn't work. He basically just makes a battery extension wire with a bec spliced into it. Hope it all comes together for you : )

    If i want to use it with powerbank does the power bank not damage it? Because the camera description says max 500 mah with max 5v

    • @techtactool5756
      @techtactool5756  Год назад +3

      5 volts is the important part. If you think of your battery as a gas tank the volts would be the type of gas and you never want to mix that up but the mah is just the size of the "gas tank" or how long that battery can provide 5 volts. So a 5v 100mah battery would provide the same voltage as a 5v 1000mah but the 1000mah would last longer. I hope that was more helpful than confusing : )
