    On a beautiful calm day like that, I would put away my RC- gear and get out my Fishing- gear. 🎣😊👍

    I've been liking that camera for some time. It seems to be more stable (less dropped frames) than the original, and the image is impressive.

    RUNCAM is amazing, how stunning the image quality there cams can provide. I only have a 5 orange cube and it still wows me. I need to get something more compact like that some day.

    It’s a nice camera to use and I like the image quality. If it’s fairly bright then you have to use an ND filter or it becomes far to much over exposed. I wish Runcam would give clear instructions on how to set it up manually for different conditions. Auto is ok though. Nice review.

    Wonderful flights & camera #1
    I wish Runcam would release this with an inbuilt battery similar to the Mobius 808 #32

      Runcam 2 and 6, but yes they are bigger draggier and heavier than the good old 808

    Hello Mr. Newton. I apologize for these two questions being off the topic of this video, however, I've had a heck of a time trying to find relevant information on the internet:
    1) I recently bought a Matek ASPD-4525 digital airspeed sensor, which I intend to install in a Zeta Sky observer with a SpeedyBee F405 Wing FC. I'm curious to know whether altering the length of the hose that comes with the sensor will affect results. The package I received had one length of hose of about 16 inches. I'm unsure this will be long enough to cover the distance of a single run from the pitot to the sensor, let alone for both dynamic and static pressure. I'm hoping I can use more hose than what was initially provided. Do you know whether it's ok to do this?
    2) On the SpeedyBee F405 Wing FC, is there any reason why an aileron servo and the Matek ASPD-4525 couldn't share a ground pin on the FC? It could be either the pin connector for the digital airspeed sensor or the PWM pin connector for the corresponding servo. I am replacing the JR-style servo connectors at the wing root/fuselage connection with 6-pin magnetic Pogo Pin connectors. Since there is only one control surface on the wings, I think I should be able to get away with using the Pogo Pin connector as long as it's ok for the sensor and the servo to share a ground. The sensor has 3 pins (5V, SCL and SDA) plus a GND pin. The servo has 2 pins (POS and SIG) plus a GND pin. Also, I've set the servo BEC voltage selection jumper on the FC to 6.0V since that is what the HobbyKing 922MG digital servos run on.
    Once again, sorry for the off-topic questions and thank you in advance!

      @AndrewNewton  22 дня назад

      Good questions Nikola. I don't think the tube length is critical, it's just measuring pressure and that would not be changed. Yes you can share ground pads, maybe not for very sensitive analog video components, but the airspeed sensor should be fine.

    When your flying FPV have you gone full digital yet? What system if you are using digital at all. I broke my walksnail in a move loved them but open to others apart from DJI. I like to fly further then the 13km, like our old school friends that all got busted in the early purge.

    hey Andrew I want to put a gyro on my phoenix v 2 what would u recommend?

    • @AndrewNewton
      @AndrewNewton  23 дня назад

      I wouldn't put a gyro on the Phoenix, it's stable enough by itself. But you could use NX3 or a stabilised FrSKY Rx if you use FrSKY. My choice would be a SpeedyBee mini FC without the GPS

    90 is really overpriced, the original thumb was sold for around 45 with slightly less image quality compared the pro v2. The Hawkeye thumb v2 is for 65 a better deal. Still up-scaled 1080 image quality and you have to remove the battery and the magnets to get it to weight less. But it has more use cases when you keep it stock.

    • @AndrewNewton
      @AndrewNewton  2 дня назад

      Hawkeye image quality is not as good as the Runcam, that's the most important aspect for me.

    • @Truth12345
      @Truth12345 2 дня назад

      @@AndrewNewton There's always a cost aspect at play otherwise you could also buy a better camera than a runcam.
