The rest of your hair is gonna lock and look terrible." 🤨 "not if i brush it though..." I loved the fact that I could still deep clean the top of my scalp, the only place i have dandruff issues, and had the option to cut bangs if i wanted! Damn I miss that hair! Should have never let them convince me to chop it... I'd have real dreads to my butt by now!❤

In the meantime, I have watched so many videos on self install and yours is in the top 3! Especially with the sectioning! Very informative and encouraging! Wish you would have shown what it looked like before you added the extra 12 for extra volume. I'm really wanting dreadlock extensions but 40 seems like alot. I'm really struggling with how many I should get for the desired look I'm wanting. My hair is super long end of my back just right at my bottom and not really thick pretty much all one length.

Im pretty sure it depend on how strong your hair is, like for weaker hair id say like a month or less and for stronger maybe like 2 months. I dont know exactly but i think that 2 months is enough so the dreads wont damage your hair as much.

I know this is an older comment but I have been doing a lot of reading as I am getting my first set put in this weekend and it seems like 6-8 weeks is what most people suggest. Mostly it depends on your hair growth. Hope this helps!

Don't your dread extensions ever slip? Especially after washing my hair, mine tend to slip downwards. Do you have any idea what might help? Thank you so much.
Its just like any other extensions. They last as long as how fast ur hair grows out from ur roots. Also if you are using synthetic dreads/extensions then you can wash them but do so gently and carefully

I just don't get the point. The textures don't blend. It may look more natural using Marley hair. This is coming from a natural hair stylist who specializes in dreadlocks as well. If u feel good about it who am I to tell u otherwise.
I think it’s beautiful and the only thing that matters is the client or customer is happy and feels amazing❤ obviously if someone doesn’t like it then they don’t need to follow or have these installed 😊
