    Have you ever tried alcohol ink and a mixture for swirl,like is done on tumblers?

      I haven’t, I’m too nervous to use mediums that aren’t specifically made for rod building!

    great job ,,but what did you do after sanding with grit particles on the rod? did you wipe it down with alcohol and a rag or blow it off

    Beautiful rod brotha. How much does one like this go for? Might have to hit you up for a custom rod sometime

      Typically, I charge for the price of all parts up front. These rods ran about $105 a piece just for parts. Then I charge a finish/delivery fee depending on the amount of work it takes to put them together and how intricate they are made!

    can you do video on epoxy ramp!?

    • @KardiacOutdoors
      @KardiacOutdoors  2 года назад +1

      Yes, next rod I have to do it on I’ll definitely film it! Only real trick is to have it taped off REALLY good so the epoxy doesn’t migrate and you get clean lines!

    Are you able to sand while its turning on the rack?

      I’d recommend doing it by hand for better control but you could if you wanted. I feel like doing it by hand helps me focus on the more uneven areas of the finish.

    what dryer setup is that and rpm?

    • @KardiacOutdoors
      @KardiacOutdoors  2 года назад +1

      I have the triple CRB that is at 18rpm and then I use the flex coat oem variable speed to apply epoxy because you can change from 9rpm to 200rpm!
