    i just got 30 something pigments from you guys last week to start marbling wish i knew about the mud. great video.

      Add Flex coat color preserver. It does the same thing as the mud.

    Cool! I want to learn how to make pretty cross wraps etc, but seems so difficult. This would be a good alternative to make a cool custom rod too! Love it! 🙂

    I'm guessing the "mud" is either microballoons or fumed silica? (Cab o sil). I also like the marbling to run up the grip a bit AS the winding check in some instances.

    Hello Casey. Question - After you add the thread trim bands do you put the clear epoxy over just the thread bands, or do you put clear epoxy over the thread bands and then all the way across the marbled area? If just over the thread bands how do you blend the wet edge with the dry marbled epoxy?

      I go over everything (trim bands & marbled area).
