      I hope it is going well! It can be a little tricky at first, but with a little practice you’ll get the hang of it. I’ve never mentioned this on my channel, but you can go to Walmart or a sporting goods store and pick up an inexpensive telescopic “cane pole” type of a rod like one of these: www.walmart.com/ip/10-Black-Widow-Ready-Rig-Telescopic-Panfish-Pole-by-B-n-M-Pole-Company/15908257
      and unscrew the butt cap and slide all the rod sections out and use them to practice on. They are tapered like a normal rod would be and have about any diameter you would ever run across when building a rod. Cheap too!

    When you pull your thread out in the end, could I introduce new colour at that point so I pull two tag ends through

    Are there different thicknesses of wrapping thread ? I'm a beginner and I think what I'm using is awfully thin.

    • @TheFishingHobby
      @TheFishingHobby  4 месяца назад

      Yes! Size “A” is similar to what I’m using in this video. Size “D” is a common size that has a thicker diameter and is much easier to work with for most people.
