      The easiest way to remember is to build up muscle memory. Most machines don’t have a zero position on the steering wheel. Get used to the feel and you’ll be ok

    I learnd by just getting on one and riding it around it was quite hard at first because everything is all backwards.

      @@CrazyBlack90 I drove a standup hyster that was not backwards. But my new job has a mistubishi that operates with opposite controls and it's awful

    Drove the exact same one of these for the first time on a whole shift when my usual counterbalance was down...Hella tricky to get used to, though I reckon it's harder to get accuracy on your lifts with the joystick 😱😱😱 give me the gas counterbalance any day of the week lol 😂😂

    Are there any similarities to operating a Stand up Reach Truck to a Stand Up Forklift??

    • @dakotamason93
      @dakotamason93 3 года назад +1

      A reach truck is longer for obvious reasons, reaching out and lifting higher. The pallet can sit between the wheels and feels more stable when moving. A normal stand up the wheels are much closer and jist the slightest touch of the steering wheel can make it change direction and feel more unstable when moving pallets. Both can turn very tight jist the reach truck is less

    I would refuse to use a stand on, you need to be comfortable when driving forklift, Toyota all the way baby

      The yanks for some unknown reason seem to love there stand up reach trucks with pantograph reach forks. The rest of the world hate them & prefer a proper sit down truck that has foot pedals for travel control & a proper reach movement on the mast. A BT Reflex would blow there minds - especially with a tilting cab.

    • @joshuaallen1340

      @@leepower2717 no. I like a stand up hyster. And not with counter clockwise backwards controls like this pos mistubishi standup at my new job. Turning right should mean turning right.
