Thank you so much for the explanation. I just got a warehouse job and I have been struggling with the steering. This helps, much appreciated.

master forklift operator here and i will tell you i like yale toyota and raymond over crown but crowns the most common one now days.. they just need to do away with the distribution plate and go to the single deadman pedal so the operators feet wont hurt after standing on the equipment for 10 to 12 hours.

Crown is trash and they need to make that trash over in China.

@@Paul4Krista20 I'm way out of the loop here, I see people talking about Toyota, Crown, Hyundai all over the comments.
I feel like a fish out of the water here, all I've driven for the past 7 years is Jungheinrich 😅

Thank you for this video. I know how to operate a high reach. But it helps to know that this helps again. And to someone who does not know how to use a high reach. Thank you for this video

I'm driving an Atlet Tergo ULS Reach truck by UniCarriers on a daily basis and it has 360 degree steering. I steer left to go left when having my forks behind me. but I steer to the right to go left when I have my forks in front of me. It's easy as pie for me at this point. It's amazing to change driving direction in one motion.

So to go left with your forks behind you turn right

I've just passed my FLT test today but the one I used was the opposite to this. I had to invert my steering when travelling with my forks in front of me.

Same. It actually made me need to rush to the toilet and vomit 🤣Took me like an hour to get used to it and I've been driving counterbalance for a while before.

Its like a car going forks forward and opposite or inverted driving with forks behind.

Have not yet operated a lift that was even close to performing like another, even if the same make, year and models mostly because people destroy TF out of these lifts, both intentionally or they just suck at life in general thus kill the lifts life and quickly kill all of its suave’ min by brutal min until they finally hop out of the damn thing and leave it to heal 😢

We use brand new hyster reach trucks at my work and they are the biggest pieces of junk. Some of them have spent more time in the shop than they have on the floor working.. Hyster quality has degraded in the last 20 years. Their end riders are big pieces of junk too. Same situation. They've gone too tech, too much silly sensors and gimmicks. Total junk.
