In this episode I am continuing working on a 1984 Honda Magna (VF700C). Everything is fixed up and reinstalled. See and hear it start for the first time after being stored broken. In 1987 I purchased an '83 V45 Magna with less than 2,000 for $1,700 . It was Mint. Stored in a heated basement in the winters. I loved that bike then and still think about it even though I'm riding a '17 Breakout. Two completely different bikes.

I had an 84 just like this one. It was totaled when an old man broadsided me. I still have a couple parts left over from it.

Author, didn't you see the DRAIN PLUG, in the form of a bolt, at the very bottom of the frame, on the left side, where the driver's left footrest is? In this model, the coolant flows inside the tubular frame!!!!

got magna today but i cant do anything for now..its winter the guy i bought from he said he didnt use the motor for 10 years...and it runs before...what do i need to check before start ..do i need to put lubrication in the piston?
where can you get that backrest? i cant find anything.
