I'm sorry, I'm using an automatic translator, because I don't know English. Greetings! I am from Russia, and I really love the V4 Handa, I have a Magna v45 VF750 88g. 2 years ago, the hose of the clutch line was damaged, and it was not possible to solve the issue on the road, I had to go home without a clutch. That's right, you said, the problem with the copy shaft, gearshift forks very often results from improper operation with the clutch or its absence. But apparently, besides the damage to the gearshift forks and the copier shaft, there is something else. After the gears stopped catching on these dogs, or rather when shifting gears, there was a noise of gears hitting each other, these side dogs, I changed both the copy shaft and the gearshift forks to the restored ones, but the problem did not go away. I also noticed a strong wear on the washers of the C1 gear of the secondary shaft, they hold the seporator bearing of the C1 gear. Can this wear affect the correct position of the secondary shaft /gears on it, relative to the gear forks, to the extent that the gears do not engage with the side teeth?

Thanks for the video. I have this same issue. Now can you tell me how hard is it for the engine to come out

@@Technewlogy Engine removal is not too bad but requires a jack and reinstallation requires 2 people. From start to finish it's about 8 hours to get into & go through the transmission, an extra 4 hours rebuilds the top end and that's STRONGLY recommended because the headgaskets are failing frequently from age....

Hi, i found your video very helpful, I own a 87 Super Magna, would any of the issues you described cause a knocking sound in the gear box. What is peculiar regarding the knocking it is not constant, it comes and goes. Mainly i noticed it was the most pronounced when the bike was leaned to the right side. I am thinking it is maybe a loose shifting fork. Because it sounds like whatever is making the sound is loose. I have yet to open up the engine. Have you encountered a similar problem to mine?

@@victornedialkov8392 yes! You need to stop riding it ASAP, you have a failed circlip in the transmission which is allowing a gear to float around back & forth on its shaft. It will continue colliding with other gears until it jams, 1 guy in a V45 Facebook Group actually got kicked off the bike from the same issue when it eventually locked up the rear wheel.
The telltale for a bad circlip is the erratic clacking in the transmission that becomes consistent when leaning either direction. We forst discovered this on an 84 VF700C and have since seen other guys face the same issue, please take my advice seriously. Limping it by will result in a bad accident not to mention nearly total the engine.
