My heart sinks and I get out the holy water every time I see an alpha boiler. Just done a cd25x fine in high fire, put it in low, took my eyes off the testo 300 for a bit and co was up in the thousands, 🤬🤬🤬
fitted a few Etecs, very good to fit, phone control really good, but plumbers merchants keep telling me "LEAKs", just come across an Intec, and the dreaded E96 fault, they look like the same boilers? any info?

@@goldgas1216where can you order the replacement o-ring please? We’re getting the E43 - Loss of continuous flame signal and E01 - Ignition Failure fault codes a lot. Holding reset works but the faults return. Taken the electrode out and cleaned it but fault still apparent. The electrode in my boiler has two probes on it 🤷♂️
its helped me out big time, going to an intec2 tomorrow, pain in the a$$

E43 and E96 are the worst fault on the Alpha boilers and there are lot of areas you have to work on.

Hate alpha, parts too expensive! That stupid electrode comes without the O-ring seal too
I don't mind them, work on loads so got to know them. But they are expensive parts and that missing oring is massive stinge
