I honestly love this so much because it highlights the aspects of an abusive and unhealthy relationship, which many people don’t really they are in until it’s too late. But I do want to mention that it isn’t always that easy to leave an abusive relationship, and some people are pressured, threatened or forced to stay in that relationship, despite them knowing that it is unhealthy.
I wish they would have made this a little more realistic, I know it was a school project but getting out of something like this is not easy at all, you are being completely controlled and they make you feel like you’ll never find love in someone else, and you can’t just say “we’re over” and him walk away crying, it’s so much worse...
You're right whether you are dating or married, abuse can go on for long periods of time. Physical, verbal, or emotional abuse should not be tolerated and is never ok. It can escalate to something horrible. The abuser will use manipulation and control so their partner will stick around. Break the cycle.
