HOW TO POSE 101 / Feel Less Awk in Pics

- This is for the peeps who either hate posing for pics, don't know how, or just want a few ideas when snapping photos! It definitely didn't come natural to me and it took a good bit of practice, so hopefully this helps someone who's wanting to feel a bit more comfortable around the camera!
There's tons of cool pose ideas out there but if you can reference some of these, then you're at a great start. Should I make a part 2??

So you can guide her through poses or make suggestions when you’re taking her picture.

I have crazy anxiety when people want to take photos of me.. but since I got a boyfriend recently, he always wants to take pictures of me. This video helped me so so so much. Thank you! This video was awesome! And I love how real you were being in the video, you didn’t seem like you were trying to impress. It felt more like you were relating with females (or others) that genuinely wanted/needed advice as a complete amateur (which you obviously aren’t), so that was very helpful as well! Thanks! I can’t wait for my next date to get all dressed up ready for my boyfriend to take photos!
"dont be weird" lmao. this was such a helpful video, ty hannah 😘 i feel like the face is really tough though. especially if you have an emotive face, fear/anxiety/nervousness comes through even with a smile. i guess you have to channel a certain mood. p.s. you speak SO confidently on this topic and its great! love the authority

My favorite poses are the sitting ones. Like you said, because everything is closer to the camera.
Also, any pose adding an 'in the moment' element! Love this concept and excited to play with it!

Okay but like ... can you do a video showing people how to TAKE the photos and the angles lol cause I can take photos and guide my friends on how to pose, but when it’s my turn they can’t get the angles right or tell me if I have a tag sticking out lol they leave me high and dry then wonder why I need 500 photos for a perfect shot lmao

I feel this. I’m good at taking photos and adjusting people’s poses but when it comes to me I end up looking like a gnome cause people just take the photo even if I look like an idiot
I too did best photos of others but when it comes to me, then they sucks at the art of photography. So I am highly disappointed.

I never comment on videos but honestly this is great. I've been a photographer for a womens intimates and swim brand for 7 years and you nailed these poses. Great content I LOVE this!
I think the Swiss dot looked the best on you. The dark patterned dress was also very nice but seems dressy and more for fall or winter.

Loved this! This was super helpful! I’m awful with posing for pictures. I never know how I should stand so I just stand there tall and straight with my arms by my side or throw up a peace sign and that’s the extent of my posing 😆😂. I’m definitely going to try to remember all these tips for the future. Thank you for sharing! Also having the example pictures of you doing the pose was super helpful too for imagining the pose in a real life situation

My buddies r hot but can't pose for nuts! Not sure if it's a complex or what..
Keep going back to one pose like a block of lifelessness like u showed us a couple times.
These r simple what u showed us but maybe they need to be in the mood or something.. I'm trying to cheer them up sometimes with better photos of themselves but it's taking time :)
My neighbour is a software engineeeer (uuuuuu! Haha) and so many times all I did was ask her to chill a bit or do this or that, and the smile on her face when she sees the photo haha, worth the effort!
Not sure why her smart brain can't seem to work out a pose or two lol.
