People have always told me I look better in real life than in pictures 😂 I thought it was a backhanded compliment and wondered why I never looked as good in pictures as I do in real life and now I know why! It was because I never knew how to pose properly and I'm so awkward in front of the camera. Thank you so much for the helpful posing tips! I notice that I look very different in iphone photos than in the mirror. I took a selfie, then held up the picture next to my reflection in the mirror. Totally different!
Have you flipped your front facing camera in settings? Newer iPhone models have this option.

@@youheartmel I am already using the front facing camera… These are pictures people are also taking of me using my phone (front camera ) The picture of my face is nothing like me. Even my husband says so.

I look totally different on video chat than I do in real life.
Pictures are not flattering, AT ALL, either.
I never look like the me I see in the mirror, in either one.
And, it's not an improvement .
I'm surprised that my bf actually wanted me, when all he had seen of me was pictures & video chat. 😂

When having your picture taken, look deeply down into the camera lens - I got this tip on America’s next top model 😅 I always do this and it works.
Also “smizing” - smiling with your eyes (not easy).
Also, if you stand slightly to the side, with one leg straight out in front, like Victoria Beckham, it elongates the body and makes you look taller and slimmer. That’s why you’ll see her standing like this in images 😊

The key is to remember that people don't care! I dine out alone all the time and when you look around you, you'll notice that people are occupied with their own matters. Just go out for lunch, I promise it's fine !
When you have too intense feeling of something, you couldn’t care less about anything. So be too hungry or too happy or too sad, you’ll be so engrossed in your own world that nothing else matters!
No one cares! I bring a good book and I tip the server well. They may be disappointed that they won't be able to earn as much as if it were a table of four.
And don't forget to wear your. "confidence" ladies! Own it! ❤️feel it! believe me... Those pictures will turn out amazing!! ❤️

Anna, you are genuinely such an inspiration! whenever others (mostly people of my age) laugh at me for dressing elegantly as an almost 17 year old (like today 🥲), I always remember you and your kind, radiant and very classy energy. it really helps me with ignoring these rude, negative opinions and gaining some confidence! so glad that there are people out there like you and this community ❤️ proof that elegance never goes out of stlyle and is very versatile actually!!

What a great advices👏 it would definitely help me to save a time, because before I decide which photo I want to post on my Instagram I take sometimes 50 pics and then I have to go through all of them to pick one so it takes me forever and it’s such a waste of time. after this video I’m not only will save the time but I will look so much better in pics.Thank you Anna so much❤
Part of why selfies are so different than the mirror is something called "focal length". Research this when picking a phone or learning portrait photography, and you'll get way better portraits. It also pays off to invest time or money in studying photography, or, befriend and hire photographers. ☺️

Another good tip is to use the 0.5 lense/mode when taking full body pictures, it works great for elongating the legs 🙌🏻

I see the people getting their Cel out to take a photo and I find my way to the ladies room. Can’t help it. I have a ladies reunion for Mother’s Day and I am already in panic mode.

I like Anna, she makes very good videos, always giving useful tips: how to be and look elegant. I don't know if she has a color palette for every season type. For example in this video she has black pants on but it's in contrast with her sky blue blouse. This contrast gives her a "cut" of her elegant silhouette.
