Could you please do a video on accentuation of individual different proportions? For example: If someone has a short torso VS Long Torso VS Medium size Torso ect. Thank you! I love your content you’re helping me immensely.
This is the 1st video I’ve seen from this creator/channel, so if it doesn’t already exist, videos like this with different outfit types/styles, like dresses would be great!
To me, what ultimately determines what I wear is being short waisted. I am tall and slim, and hour glass, but being short waisted makes everything more difficult.
That makes so much sense! I’m hourglass too but for me it’s that I’m a large cup size with a small band size. It creates so many fit issues that it has to be the first consideration
Look up Kibbe body types. This 5 body shapes thing is so out-dated. There is no apple shape or hourglass per se. I had to drop this in the comments but it's definitely all wrong to use these shapes. It makes all the difference knowing you Kibbe type.
Thank you for posting - I am impressed by the use of AI and walking through the logic; excellent tutorial on DIY outfit tweaking. Gives us a new tool to self-assess abit. I feel like I switch between apple/H/in triangle in a year....AND also short torso petite. I dred it when I realize that I have to hunt again for a nice fit trouser/jeans (and wide high-waisted is all the rage). Although at the same time - so much more shopping options now than ever before (good but overwhelming). It seems I should just focus on statement hats and shoes 😅.
Great, great job explaining why you would need to make certain changes. Even the subtleties of something like not wearing a belt for the Apple to not emphasize that mid section but yet choosing a cropped top and jacket to define the waist area made so much sense the way you explained it. Thank you!
There were so many enjoyable points in this video: From the neutral attitude towards shapes, excellent teaching and speaking skills, to the actual advice on dressing those specific shapes. Thank you.
This is the best style video I have ever watched. Instead of looking for the exact inspiration replica you learn how to hack your body shape and make any style work. Well done.
What a smart, intelligent video! I am 60 and have had years to figure out what works, but the money I’ve spent trying to figure that out! Wish I had had you about 20 years ago;). I don’t look old for my age , am 5’1” and don’t want to dress like a mature older woman. Suggestions? I dress very casually now that I don’t have to dress up much anymore.
I would love a whole video about each body type dos and don’ts! I think I am hourglass shape and was told I am a true spring. Are you available for one on one consultation 😭 I’m struggling to creat a wardrobe! Also can we have a tutorial on EXACTLY how you do your hair?!

This is my first time seeing your channel and this was such a great video! You explained everything so well and I love the AI demo’s showing how to change the outfits for each body type. I hit subscribe and look forward to seeing more videos!
It would be nice if you could do the hourglass shape, but also verticle proportions, because I can tell you that dressing as a short torso hourglass feels very difficult. And it seems like a lot of people like to hate every outfit from the higher profile people that are short torso hourglasses, or they were from the 40s
@karli4074 I've tried to understand that system, maybe it would be different if I was willing to pay for the official thing, but it just seems like it tries to put you in a personality type rather than giving useful information to choose your own style.
@@GoingGreenMom Kibbe is not about putting you into a personality type. It's just about dressing for your personal body lines. On6you get it right, it really works and is so transformative.
Would you please do a video on larger rectangle shapes. Most are geared toward tall, skinny, straight shapes. Some of us are average height and thicker but not apples. So glad I have discovered you, great info!
Yes that would be very useful . I used to be a skinny rectangle, but with age, the weight has all accumulated around my abdomen. Consequently never quite sure about emphasising the waist. 😮
This is my dilemma. I'm almost certain I'm a rectangle, not a triangle. But I do have a gut, so I'm never sure how to hide the pooch while emphasizing the waist.
This might be the most easy to understand video I've seen on how to dress for your body type. Kudos to you for using the AI. Very smart. I am a pear shape and I'm definitely going to start trying to emphasize my top more and see how that works out. Love that idea. Also, you are so beautiful and classy I just love it.
You. Are. Brilliant. This was incredibly well done. Would love more on 🍎 shapes, please and thank you. Please know that you are making people feel more confident in their bodies and themselves, and that is beautiful. Thank you ever so much. ❤
Excellent tutorial. More like a class session with lots to learn. I'll rewatch this several times. Your use of AI is cutting edge. I only can imagine how individuals might be able to shift their body dimensions to see which clothes look best on them. Remember many years ago when a fairly primitive game was developed that allowed users to shop for a avatar? I bet a lot of women would want to use such an app. Will it be you?
I’m so happy you liked the video!❤ It’s really amazing how far technology has come. I’m sure within a short period we’d be able to do that and dressing for our body shapes would become a breeze!
Great video. I have an amazing collection of earrings and earrings always make me feel instantly more polished. Thank you for normalizing all body types.
Interesting. Didn't realize I was an upside down triangle. This was super helpful. You made it very simple to understand and I was able to immediately apply it to my current outfit.
You have put so much work into this video and given us such great information. Thank you for all your effort and ideas that deal with the reality of women's bodies.
Wow! You did a phenomenal job to indicate what worked from the original hour-glass shaped focused outfit for the other body shapes along with clear rationale, and then detailed what needed to be changed for each body type! Such a comprehensive video! And all the images you provided for each body type along with the finished results were amazing!
This was very helpful! I'd definitely like to see another example. One thing I realized, as I watched, was that although I have an hourglass figure, because my waist is high, the tips for the rectangular figure are also important for me. Good to know!
I just found this video in my feed, I appreciate the work you put in here. Per your suggestion, I am responding that I would like a video of how the dos and don'ts of dressing an hourglass shape. Thanks for doing these!
My first time coming across your videos and this was "simply" wonderful! I do have a pear shape body with a bit of a mature woman tummy. I'm always self conscious about this and my goal in 2025 is to dress for confidence. This video was very educational and the AI images showing each body style was incredibly helpful. Thank you.
Really well done! Please make more of these. I thought it was great to see how to make a look work for each body type. Selfishly I would like more on retangle body type.
My input is to do 5 measurements total. Shoulders, bust, waist, high hip and hip. My measurements are 38", 36" 31", 36", 40". So my upper body matches an hourglass, until my hips. So maybe I'm a bottom heavy hourglass? She does say that body proportions may not completely fit into one category, and I think adding in the high hip measurement further adds to understanding your body's balance and proportions. But I appreciate all of the very clear and succinct summaries she has for how to positively work with your body shape!
@rociolivares1 oh cool! Thanks for the tip, I'll look into that! I've been figuring out what pear body tips work for me and which do not, but a thorough study of the subject might be my next step. I'm fine being a cello haha

I never had an Apple shape until recently actually it comes and goes I have where my tummy swells up, I have this thing that was caused from pregnancy where there's a tear internally. So if I get bloated at all it's gets quite big. I do find that the high waist really helps because it holds things in you could still wear a shirt that comes on top of that but the high waist especially in jeans actually in any pants really seem to help kind of suck it in.
That’s a great point! Based on what you mentioned, it seems like the weight is in your lower tummy and the high waisted pants help pull the weight upward and suck it in. Sometimes, people with apple shape store their weight in their waist area adding more width to their midsection. That’s why for them high waist pants might highlight this width and make the area appear boxy. There are so many body variations and it helps to experiment and see what works for you!
This is an excellent video! I can see a *lot* of hard work went into it --not just with the creation of the video itself and all of the photoshop adjustments to the outfits illustrating your points, but also the education and training you clearly experienced and so generously are sharing with us! Thank you Patricia for your kind words about the video. I’m so glad you found it helpful. I’m preparing another video on body shapes and will be taking about pear shape more ❤
Wow, that was so helpful! I guess that I have a rectangle shape, very narrow hips and shoulders but a bit of a waist. I already tried to always emphasize my waist, but recognized that really wide leg shaped or very straight cut pants didn't suit me so well. Now I know why I always liked bootcut Jeans and pants on me 😊
Fabulous video! First time seeing you & I immediately subscribed! As a pear, I’d love to see a video about texture, using the inspo outfit with the bias cut satin skirt.
This was an excellent video! Thank you! I would love some videos about how to choose more feminine but casual clothes for work/social outings.
