Thanks for sharing your recipes. One practice I have when making as n omelet is to cover the pan right after pouring the eggs in and because it traps the heat, I never have to flip the omelet. A glass lid will be better.
Thanks for you omelette idea. I'm on day 6 on the Carnivore diet and I'm challenging to make food interesting. I found the first week much more difficult than I imagined - bathroom issues, headaches, joint pains, stomach cramps, itchy eyes. I researched and came to the conclusion I am Oxalate dumping. I've decided to ignore the problems and press on as dumpling Oxalates is ultimately good. I think my main source of Oxalates had been almonds.and nuts.
@@Coffeeismyhappyplace I did continue and after 2 weeks my stomach returned to normal. My appetite is much less and I estimate the 'volume' of food I eat has dropped by 50%. That sounds like "die off effect". Probably a yeast overgrowth, candida in your intestines. As they die en mass it overloads the body. Lots of water helps.
My favorite is sauteed chicken livers with a side of assorted cheese. I like to make fresh cheese , yogurt, kiefer and butter from the raw milk I get from our local dairy and add that to some soft boiled eggs from our chickens with bacon, or deer sausage and shredded cheese balls baked in the oven like regular meatballs add egg to bind ingredients. A little pile of any cheese heated into a flat disc then topped with pepperoni, secure with toothpick for a pizza roll-up
@@jstar1000 The chicken livers are the main part of my one meal every day. Im recovering from major surgery and my body craves it. I had my cholesterol levels tested yesterday and theyre good
Shaved steak with bacon is a great idea, gonna try that. I think the beef-and-goat's cheese combo is basically a stroganoff? My absolutely easiest meal is salmon, but that's because I have an air fryer. That might be one some people are avoiding more because of concerns over ocean pollution, etc., so I try to avoid doing this one TOO often, but if I'm stuck it works. Small fillets with ghee and salt, tossed in a pre-heated air fryer for 7-8 minutes at 390. Perfect every time, don't even have to think about it or waste time cooking. You could obviously pan-fry it instead, but I'm a terrible cook and have screwed that up way too many times to do anything but air fry now that I have a method.
Oh my heavens, the ground beef and goat cheese dish looks decadently delicious! I am going to have to try that one. Adding goat cheese to my market list for tomorrow. Thanks for the ideas and for sharing. Looking forward to your next video and any new recipe ideas that you have to keep things interesting on our carnivore quest. 🙂
So I haven't tried this. I saw it on another RUclips chef that I follow, Akis Petretzikis. I'm surprised I've never seen it in the Keto/Carnivore universe. Akis is not either but I still follow my favorite and get ideas how to turn their recipes into a Carnivore recipe. Steak pizza. He had two thinner chuck eye steaks that he cooked for a couple of minutes each side. Put them on parchment, next to each other. Sprinkled mozzarella. Added uncooked, thinly sliced bacon on top of that. Added more mozzarella.. Then cherry tomatoes (I'd leave those out). Broiled until ready. I CAN'T wait to try it. I'd love to see your take.
My favorite thing right now is a Soufle omelet. You beat the eggs until they are super foamy (I use a stick blender or a hand mixer for speed), then cook it in the pan with lots of butter. Made one with just goat cheese and ham the other day and it was the bomb. You pretty much cook it until the bottom is crispy, but when you fold it in half the egg inside is pillowy because of the foaminess. It feels like it's not cooked, but it is. I need to get some shaved steak, because that meal looked so good!
Cook it on the range the first half then put it in an oven under the broiler on the middle or lower rack with just regular scrambled eggs and it will rise into a soufflé as well.
I'm gonna try that. Bet it would be good with bacon in the middle. I've been carnivore for 6 mo. And love the results. 72 y.o pain free, no meds and have dropped 3 sizes.
As always, LOVE your videos!! I love ground beef 80/20 with white cheese-I cannot handle food color- and Redmond salt. I have eaten that 2 to 3 times a day for days on end.
A great technique for flipping an omelet is to use a flat lid the size or larger of the skillet and start at one end of the lid upside down and slide the omelet onto the upside down lid as you pull the pan across the lid, the omelet will be sitting on the upside down lid just like it was in the skillet then place the pan on top of the lid upside down and cover the pan then flip it back right side up and BAM the omelet is perfectly flipped over.
Carnivore waffles are great - ham, egg and cheese, mmmmm Bought a cheap patty maker for 200g (.44 pound) patties which I then flavour accordingly. Hoki (fish) fillets lightly crumbed are great as a zero fat option, except for the cooking butter ;) As a natural supplement, monthly I cook the Arabic Shepard's breakfast using Heart, Liver and Kidneys. Fry down some onions, garlic and herbs to taste throw in the heart, when you turn the heart throw in the liver, when you turn the liver throw in the kidney. When the kidneys done, viola. A pan full of yumminess and the best natural supplement money can buy, forget the pill rubbish, fresh and animal based FTW. Fun fact - New Zealand is the BEST place to be a carnivore. 1/ All beef in New Zealand is grass fed and grass finished. Some (mad) people pay extra for grain finished :| Beef Factory farming DOES NOT EXIST here because of the superb animal welfare standards ! 2/ We have the most coastline per person in the world so the seafood follows suit, massive amounts of yum. 3/ Animal protein is a major export and we're judged to be world class - Particularly the lamb and infant milk powder formulations. Plus like mad people we walk around barefoot, regularly. Google it, it's a thing men, women, children, we're all nuts. Cheers for the content.
🎉Cheers for New Zealand! Truth on any beef/protein coming out of NZ~ could not agree more, except we are way overcharged for it here in the U.S.- greedy importers for sure, as I've seen firsthand what THEY paid for it~ errgghh! *I've been mostly barefoot since childhood, 57 now~ & I'm from the Northwest rainy/cold-ish part of the country. Still prefer it, & my feet actually get itchy & sore from socks or shoes when I do need to wear them. Lace-up soft leather moccasins are a decent compromise however.
How did I ever miss this one? Absolutely love your simple recipes. Some carnivore chefs simply make things way too complicated! Love your great simple recipes. Just wish they were one recipe per video so we can all find them easier.
Great ideas - thanks!! LOVE the steak and bacon....gonna have to try that for sure!! My favorite thing right now? Pot roast - got a $15 7qt slow cooker from Walmart and now I'm all about slow cooking roasts! First up was a a 2 lb Chuck Eye Roast. Seasoned with lots of salt applied directly to the meat and 1 cup water to the slow cooker. I let it simmer on low for 5 hours and OMG it was AMAZING! Literally my first ever and now I'm hooked. Tomorrow (12/16/22) I'm going to try cooking up a Ribeye Roast. I absolutely LOVE Ribeye steaks so this will be interesting. In the freezer and therefore in the future I have a Tri-Tip Roast, Rump Roast and another Chuck Eye Roast so maybe I'll have a roast a week for a little while. I LOVE the smell of roasts as they're cooking and the meat and broth are so damned good!! I can't wait!
@@dessaarnold7540 Got a good, low or no-carb recipe that you could share? My TriTip roast tasted like boiled meat. Eww....not very good. I only used salt and about 1 cup of water....that's all. I bought some beef broth at Sprouts and that added a little flavor. Not sure how to slow cook the ribs tho.
I usually sear a roast in a heavy pot or skillet first before slow cooking, in bacon grease. This helps seal the juices in I think. I do like to season with garlic & onion, salt and pepper. I'm not full carnivore. Hope this helps.
We always do prime rib at Christmas! Too costly everyday!! It's soooo good, seasoned & seared at 500 then 325 until temp you like! Ooooh that crust on the outside!!
I don't freeze my ground beef raw - I cook it in either meatloaf 1 size serving size, just browned to use however I want, etc - then I freeze it in the amounts I would use for recipes. Saves tons of time. I think it would be good to do that with sausage, etc - on your off days to make it way easier to cook on the road. When I cook bacon - I do the same thing - making tons of it at a time then either freeze or at least put in portion sizes.
Wow these all look delicious. Especially the shaved steak and bacon. I make burger with cheese in it sometimes, but use sheep feta. It's sort of expensive and it really cuts into my budget, but it feels as if I ought to eat good, decent food, and if I sometimes have to spend extra, oh well! Lately my favorite thing to eat are burgers on carnivore chaffles (Ketogenic Woman's channel). I've been putting lettuce and tomato on them, but I don't think it's going to kill me! I'm obsessed! Have a great day!
My favorites change every few months but lately I’ve been eating Italian sausages and bacon. Eggs with cheese and cream cheese, I always have steak a couple times a week cooked in butter or bacon fat.
At times my goat cheese crumble just ends up being solid feta and natural salt brine from the Mediterranean market. Along with the ground meat being lamb or goat. Thinks for sharing your ideas. I’m just about ready to go live in a van.
Recently I found ground lamb at a local market and wondered what to do with it. I love the brined feta with ground beef - don't know why I didn't think of using the lamb...thanks!
I make a rolled omelet, I have a rectangle griddle (non stick) I heat it up over med high heat and rub butter all over it then pour scrambled eggs on it and pick it up ( it has handles) and get the egg even all over it then let it cook for a bit as it cooks through, I then spread the meat and cheese all over thinly and take a long skinny spatula like you use on a griddle and start at one end and roll it up to the other end. Its freaking awesome and looks great too. thin layers of egg with meat in all the layers like a cinnamon roll. pretty slick looking and great tasting.
Greetings...I like... 3 boiled eggs in a bowl 2 tbls sour cream 2/3 tbls greek yoghurt mustard (your choice) I use a medium English salt & pepper cut up eggs before adding anything then add the above grab your fork and blend/ mush and beat. Bon appetite.
These look so good! I just discovered your channel and will be subscribing. My favorite right now is a chili pork soup, also called posole in Mexican cooking. Just boil your chunks of pork until tender and add garlic powder, cumin, salt, pepper and chili powder!
one of my faves is ground beef and eggs, scrambled, or sunny side up, but usually scrambled. and ribeyes. love ribeyes. thanks for the vid! (ps, I love chuck roast, too!)
Had goat cheese for the first time about 8 years ago. Like you I fell in love right away. I like to get goat cheese crumbles with dried tomato basil. Aldi's has a good deal on it. Feta is another favorite cheese. I love feta in my omelets. Thanks for your simple ideas. They are good building blocks for newcomers to this lifestyle. They are also great for when you don't have the time or energy to fix something elaborate.
I really wish I liked goat cheese, it just tastes too much like what goats and sheep smell like. I can't get past it. I would have to add it to something that is really strong to hide the taste. Any suggestions?
That goat cheese sounds amazing. I’m planning to have ground beef tomorrow but now I will be headed back to the store for goat cheese before I make it.
All 3 meals look great!! I'll try them all. I can't make an omelet to save my life but enjoy scrambled eggs with salsa. Been eating a lot of ground beef due to steak prices being crazy high. Do you ever eat liverwurst? I've never had it but saw a Carnivore show where they just eat it on keto bread so I'll try that soon. If you have any ideas for that I'd appreciate it because It's inexpensive. $2.99/lb at Aldi. Thanks for always being there for us. Getting in a rut is not a good thing so your ideas are always welcome and you make everything look wonderful!!!
Spread some liverwurst on 1/2 of an Egglife wrap, add mayo &/or cream cheese &/or feta on the other half, add a bit of Arugula, fold and eat. Very tasty! If you can find it Tillamook in the blue container is an excellent tasting cream cheese without any of the added junk the others have. To make your own pate fry up 1 lb drained chicken livers (til slightly pink) with some bacon, season, throw it in a blender with 1/2 to 3/4 stick melted butter and include the bacon fat. I don't even trim the livers and it still comes out smooth. Chill and you have a great fat snack. I sometimes spread it on some celery sticks or Keto crackers (1 carb each).
add some quality cheeses to your meat juices, and some butter...you will get a very flavorful gravy, the cheeses make a great thickener to replace flour...tangy, rich, and delicious

I'm just starting out in carnivore and this morning I was feeling frustrated at the amount of time it takes to cook bacon for my family unless I put it in the oven but I don't like the mess. Mind-blown that I can just cut it up and put it all in one Skillet while I cook my eggs in the other! Thank you!
Chuck roast cooked in a instapot is a big favorite of mine. I'll meal prep a 4-5 roast just about every week. I just use salt in the instapot but will use other seasonings when heating leftovers to change up the flavor profiles.
the omelette we did learn at school in my country where i was born, you whisk the white till stiff and slightly mix it in to the mixed yolks , it will give you a elevated omelet and if you cannot flip it put it in the oven for a few minutes to cook , I just cut my omelet in half to flip it less hassel ,
Thx for you video. I use the 2nd option for my Carnivore omelettes but I use the grill to finish of the top as when i flip most of it ends up on the floor or becomes scrambled a bit like a carnivore Eton mess ( A UK pudding where you smash up meringue. cream and strawberries - definitely not Carnivore) . I can also add the cheese at the end so its almost like a pizza.
Cook 300 gr beefmince in some beef stock or broth with some mixed herbs for 5 mins, take off heat add sauerkraut and a dollop of sourcream or creme fraiche. Not 100% carnivore but fermented foods are about as close as u can get.
I like my home made whole milk kefir feta cheese. It tastes like goat cheese. I use that kefir and make yogurt, and cream cheese. Also my buttermilk from kefir is delicious. Kefir cheese is so good. I use kefir grains which comes from the stomach of the cow .
Suggestion for cooking in your van...Instant Pot. And if chuck roast is your favorite, the instant pot is a great way to cook it. I buy the cheapest cut of chuck roast. Season it (cut into cubes or whole)...put the instant pot on "saute", add a little avacado oil, and brown the roast on all sides. Then add in 16oz of beef broth or beef stock...and whatever vegetables you want. Put the instant pot on "pressure cook" for 20-25 minutes. Once the time is up, I usually let the instant pot "naturally release" for 10-15 minutes. Pop the top and enjoy. The longer you leave it pressure cooking, the more tender it'll be. I've gone as far as 30 minutes, and the meat was just falling apart. I've found that 20-25 minutes makes for a tender roast, with just enough muscle fiber left for a good bite-feel. Being a Cajun, I usually eat this over rice...but on a carnivore diet, I know that's not part of the plan.
It's coming along very well! I'm taking this week to finish up the pictures. My goal is to have the rough draft done and a preorder up by the beginning of the year!
I just recently changed my eating from a keto style to a carnivore one, and so far what I have found most enjoyable is 500g of med ground beef (in a small rectangle block), lightly seasoned with salt and pepper, cooked in bacon grease. Once it is almost completely cooked, I will had a slice of Havarti cheese on top and finish cooking with a lid on for another minute. I will sometimes add a small blob of yellow mustard to one side of the plate for dipping.

I no longer eat lunch and find I have more energy at work. I used to be drowsy after lunchtime, but no more. The challenge now is friends sabotaging my diet by deliberately serving me carbs and other things they know I don't eat.
@@DestinationTravel Hmm...maybe you could ask them to really, truly be your friend & support you in your seemingly odd way of eating. I realize some do find it odd, others think it's silly or funny~ but our health & well being is none of those things. Neither is sabotage. That sounds like "die off effect". Probably a yeast overgrowth, candida in your intestines. As they die en mass it overloads the body. Lots of water helps.
I've made a lot of ground beef with cream cheese, but I think the goat cheese would be much healthier. Thanks for the suggestion.
Why would goat cheese be any healthier that grass fed full fat yogurt?
@@brandonkeenan2625It’s not cows milk. No everyone can handle it.
Just started eating ground lamb from Aldi with feta cheese, pan fry the lamb add salt pepper garlic and oregano sprinkle feta cheese at the end.
A little pile of any cheese heated into a flat disc then topped with pepperoni, secure with toothpick for a pizza roll-up
Damn, that all sounds awesome, sautéed chicken livers are the bomb for sure.
If u have an Aldi store close by it cost $1.99 for that 4.oz log
Thanks! Goat cheese is on my list for tomorrow!
One VIDEO of such omlett went viral last year. One Indian street vendor got very popular after that.
@@patriciaalexander9751 it is amazing with diced bacon in the middle. Just had that yesterday along with some goat cheese. 😃
I have those blue plates and bowls! Also have them in yellow. Gotta love Dollar Tree lol
Goat cheese=instant creamy cheese sauce!! I love this. I have some ground lamb that needs something to bathe in. Definitely picking some up today.
I grabbed a nice garlic and herb chevre. Looking forward to giving this a try. Doesn't seem like anything can go wrong lol
You're very creative and inspiring. Thank you
Carnivore waffles are great - ham, egg and cheese, mmmmm
Bought a cheap patty maker for 200g (.44 pound) patties which I then flavour accordingly.
Hoki (fish) fillets lightly crumbed are great as a zero fat option, except for the cooking butter ;)
As a natural supplement, monthly I cook the Arabic Shepard's breakfast using Heart, Liver and Kidneys.
Great and interesting comment 👍🏻
Stephen Williams...... I knew I loved New Zealand for a reason! Love your lamb, especially!

Thank you for your recipies, great video!!
Try beef ribs in the crockpot
But if you want to see the best results it’s better not to cheat even with just lettuce and tomatoes as they can cause unnoticed allergic reactions
@@FlorenceLeclercq Thanks!
All 3 look delish, Reid! I’m going to have to try all of them. Thanks for the ideas!!
Ground meat and goat cheese. GONNA TRY! Looks delicious. Thanks for sharing.
My favorites change every few months but lately I’ve been eating Italian sausages and bacon. Eggs with cheese and cream cheese, I always have steak a couple times a week cooked in butter or bacon fat.
How wonderful to find a carnivore chef!! Subscribed!!! 🎉🎉
I adore chuck roast as well… just beginning carnivore. Thanx for the ideas!
Like a few others here, I am also a trucker. I love the simplicity since you are preparing food in your van! Thanks for the great video!
One of my favorite meal prep for work options was quality ground beef, seasoned spicy, and some cubed pepper jack.
At times my goat cheese crumble just ends up being solid feta and natural salt brine from the Mediterranean market. Along with the ground meat being lamb or goat. Thinks for sharing your ideas. I’m just about ready to go live in a van.
It would be a great way to save up money!!!
Recently I found ground lamb at a local market and wondered what to do with it. I love the brined feta with ground beef - don't know why I didn't think of using the lamb...thanks!
I like to have something always ready in fridge, such as, ham salad, chicken salad or egg salad with bacon.
3 boiled eggs in a bowl
2 tbls sour cream
2/3 tbls greek yoghurt
mustard (your choice) I use a medium English
salt & pepper
cut up eggs before adding anything
then add the above
grab your fork and blend/ mush and beat.
Bon appetite.
These look so good! I just discovered your channel and will be subscribing. My favorite right now is a chili pork soup, also called posole in Mexican cooking. Just boil your chunks of pork until tender and add garlic powder, cumin, salt, pepper and chili powder!
If you add some water and cover your cast iron skillet, the steam will help a lot with the sticking.
Thanks for sharing your carnivore diet! I like the goat cheese idea
I Love the snapping and getting to the point! Good videos!!
one of my faves is ground beef and eggs, scrambled, or sunny side up, but usually scrambled. and ribeyes. love ribeyes. thanks for the vid! (ps, I love chuck roast, too!)
thank you, easy, quick and cheap ideas
I just saw shaved ribeye steak the other day at Walmart and thought hmmm, how would I cook that…? Now I know what to try! Thx!
Thanks for sharing. Love the ground beef and goat cheese.
I just recently mixed liverwurst & sour cream together and used that as a dip for my pork rinds! Yum! 🐷💕🐷
@@Bellasherbear Thanks! Going back to Aldi's tomorrow and get some! I'll make your dip tomorrow too :)☺
@@Bellasherbearthat I'd a GREAT idea!!!

Do you use the slow cooker feature
@@Linda-zv8ky no. The pressure cooker mode. Usually for 60 mins.
I like ground beef with a bit of taco seasoning and either goat cheese like you used or feta
the omelette we did learn at school in my country where i was born, you whisk the white till stiff and slightly mix it in to the mixed yolks , it will give you a elevated omelet and if you cannot flip it put it in the oven for a few minutes to cook , I just cut my omelet in half to flip it less hassel ,
Thx for you video.
Looks yummy! Thanks for sharing.

this is so cool , thank you so much!
Being a Cajun, I usually eat this over rice...but on a carnivore diet, I know that's not part of the plan.
great stuff I will have to try. How is the cookbook coming? Love your stuff
