Captured a 90gr Ballistic Machinist 9mm Interceptor round for y’all to check out. Cycles reliably. Highly recommend this ammo for self defense and concealed carry.
Penetration is not its strong suit. It’s consistent expansion. No over penetration worries. For example. If you had to make a shot where someone was standing behind the intended target you won’t accidentally hit an innocent bystander.
The FBI 12-18" penetration minimum was based off a worst case scenario shot using early 90s hollowtips. You would think more people would appreciate all the energy going on target vs pass through
I have a couple boxes of those old brass cased interceptors. Just ordered a few more with the shellshock cases.
Let me know how the shellshock cases run please. Thanks for watching!
looks to only penetrate ~10" in synthetic gel.
Lots of people would immediately disqualify it based on that thanks to FBI standard ruling the world.
