As a huge fan of both, Kojima putting his hands up to his face and revealing the eyes on his palms brought the biggest smile to my face.
I love how friendships like this move passed the language barrier. Also with Kojima always coming across as a likeable guy with a great sense of humour, it gives me hope for humanity
I really respect Guillermo's way of speaking about his profession, and how Kojima is passionate about being free to be creative again. I'm Hispanic and have been very fascinated with Japanese culture, and these two men have such love for what they do. They both really dictate carefully with what they want their fans to enjoy by, creating something great.

I love Hideo Kojima, he's such a unique game creator, a once in a generation person that comes by to mankind, it is amazing and an honour to see him in these shows, he's been through some hard times with the higher ups and still came through shining like a morning star.

I think Kojima’s love of movies and him being a cinephile is what makes his games so incredible. The amount of detail he puts into the storytelling makes it feel like you’re watching a movie while also playing his games.

Universal pictures passed on a story that Guillermo Del Toro turned into the masterpiece picture of the year The Shape of Water. Konami will feel their pain when Death Stranding is released. Fox Searchlight pictures and Sony give their artists the resources they need to make their vision happen, and then get out of the way. Greatness awaits.

Norman Reedus, Guillermo Del Toro, Mads Mikkelsen, Troy Baker, Lea Seydoux, Margaret Qualley, Lindsay Wagner, Tommie Earl - Jenkins and Conan O’Brien as special appearance. The game is spectacular and is a game like no other.
It was the best post-break up sleepover ever in the history of mankind.

Well, I think he can understand English, but cannot speak English. You know, Japanese people have some difficulties when it comes to English pronunciation. But I totally agree with you, it is strange to see the guy who can make the best games in the whole industry but can't even speak English.

I would love to learn Japanese and someday speak it as fluently as possible so if I ever go to Japan I can communicate with people in Japanese and if i ever have the honor of meeting Mr. Kojima, then I hope I could correctly express my ideas in Japanese, so he could better understand me. I think he also understands English, but if I could speak Japanese I would choose to speak in Japanese.
Kojima and Del toro are very passionate and humbling. It would be really special if kojima would direct or contribute in a movie.

I think his translators first language isn't even English. So that might imply he is well taught in 3 languages very impressive.

Jordan Randall His translator has an accent that implies his first language isn't English. Yet he is translating Japanese to english. Which means he is well taught in 3 different languages. English, Japanese, and whatever his native language is. I was simply remarking I found this very impressive.
Or maybe his native language is Japanese. So he learned English (therefore he has the accent) and translates into Japanese, his native language. And the interpreter certainly looks Japanese if you have seen him in person. But who knows, maybe he does speak a third language!
I like how Guillermo is all happy about co finance and co work with Hideo little he knows that Hideo likes to go full budget.
I find it interesting that their mics can pick up Kojima's translator in his ear, you need to listen closely though.

Every Metal Gear game is focused on the English language. Some metal gear games like focus a lot on U.S politics.
Kojima said he wanted to make a game series that would broad out to the world has a whole so they can relate to it instead just to the japanese people, so thats why the mgs series is a heavily westernized game. It shocked the hell out of me when i found out it was a Japanese game when there close to zero any Japanese influence or characters except for maybe Kaz whose only half Japanese.

I really hope they try and produce a similar project like P.T. and put it out because that was amazing. Whomever made the call to stop the production on that made a BIG mistake because it did really well with old Silent Hill fans as well as new ones or ones that have never even heard of the franchise and lets face it... that game was straight up fucking creepy and fucking genius.
