Made this last night and almost cried because mines had a white, gooey middle when it was done and I didn’t know why 😂. Didn’t want it to taste like a glob of cottage cheese 😩 and wasn’t sure about the presentation 😭🤦🏾♀️My daughter said it looked good and like a spaghetti lasagna 😫😂 which made me feel better. Now how was it?… 🔥🔥🔥!!! Everyone got seconds and loved it I’m one of those who didn’t like cottage cheese and I’m glad I trusted this man cuz baaaaby❤ Million dollar spaghetti aint got nothing on this!

I just made this "million dollar spaghetti" last week & it was a crowd pleaser. Only difference is I used ricotta instead of cottage cheese and I do like that you used Italian sausage with your burger, I will try that next time. Thanks 🤗

It needed some salt at least, so I appreciate you doing that like you do. It brings it up another level so you can taste the flavors.
@@hdezines cool, either one will work. I'll probably try ricotta. I was thinking that almost any type of noodle would work too, like lasagna noodles. This would be a great pot luck dish.
I have done this with leftover spaghetti/sauce for years, with a slight variation. I love black olives, hubby loves mushrooms so they both go into my sauce. I used Cotto Salami but Italian sausage sounds really good. Will try it next time. I always add butter & garlic salt to my spaghetti. On top of the 1st layer of spaghetti, I layer cottage cheese, sliced mozzarella, spaghetti sauce, repeat. I've been making it this way since the 70's and it's a family favorite.

Made it and it came out AMAZING! I freaked out for a second because I purchased pre-shredded parmesan cheese, but it still came out GREAT! Thank you so much.
That bake looks delicious and hardy. The one thing I would do differently is add my herbs and spices to the meat mixture while you're cooking it because the heat brings about more intense flavor and it doesn't matter that you're draining the fat from the meat. The intense flavor is still present. This is just a suggestion to go with your recipes. You will notice the difference. Thanks for sharing this delicious recipe!

i love this...I cooked by spaghetti bake the same except no cottage cheese, and i put bell pepper and mushrooms in mine, and i use a 3 cheese blend ,mozzerella, cheddar, gouda
I feel like I invented baked spaghetti and other similar casseroles. I make macaroni, pepperoni, and cheese casseroles. The multi layer of cheese and pepperonis on top is the ticket. I put spaghetti sauce and diced tomatoes in there.
Omgosh!! This is the best spaghetti bake I have ever had I will never go back to making traditional spaghetti. I love this and my family love that also is absolutely delicious. I followed the recipe. Only thing I changed. I put mozzarella cheese and mild cheddar on top. it was so good.

I believe it was the mixture of cream cheese, sour cream, and cottage cheese that he is using. But even if it wasn't, this recipe is IT! No need to look for another one. And I DO NOT eat cottage cheese, but I did exactly what he said and used it anyway and that mixture is what really takes this recipe over the top, as well as the Italian sausage. I will be making this recipe at a frequency that will definitely be considered ridiculous!

However, if you don't mind me saying, I love the taste of butter on my pasta, but when you use butter or oil on pasta intended for tomato sauce, the coating the oil or butter leaves on the pasta prevents it from soaking in the full flavor of the sauce. Please don't take this negatively. I'm just speaking from one good chef to another good chef. Keep that good food comin' chef! 👍🏽

The meat masher is one of the best things I bought because of AB. It is a big help. I hope AB sees this question (especially with the video being up for almost a month) I really want his opinion on bagged cheese already shredded. I heard others say it has a starchy flour to it. I have watched almost all AB's videos but I can't remember if he has talked about his preference.
I made this and it is the best I've made. I didn't buy the pre-shredded cheese and that makes a big difference. The cottage cheese mixture is the game changer🤤

I made this and it is the best I've made. I didn't buy the pre-shredded cheese and that makes a big difference. The cottage cheese mixture is the game changer🤤

Excellent, as always. I do one similar but will try your ingredients. One thing I do different - I simmer uncovered to make the sauce thicker.
