Steamrail Ballarat Shuttles 2024 with A2 986 & K153

On the weekend 24th - 26th May 2024 Steamrail Victoria visited Ballarat for their annual steam shuttles in conjunction with the Ballarat Heritage Festival. Steam locomotives A2 986 & K153 operated steam shuttles between Ballarat and Lal Lal on the Geelong - Ballarat Line. In this video we chase the shuttles on the Sunday 26th May where we see the train at various locations along the line, including multiple shots climbing up the steep 1 in 52 grade Warrenheip Bank. Other locations visited include the former station at Ballarat East, Navigators, Yendon, and arriving and departing Ballarat Station.
