I was so glad Brett won his only Super Bowl win in New Orleans since he is from nearby Hancock County, MS! It was definitely a Homecoming Game for him!
6:26 Terry Bradshaw saying "Lambada" instead of Lombardi and then Holmgren putting his hand over his face trying to remain composed and not die of laughter! 🤣🤣🤣
As brilliant as Desmond Howard was, Reggie White should’ve been MVP of Super Bowl 31. He never allowed Bledsoe to get comfortable or get into any kind of rhythm throwing the football.
Technically, breaking it down into eras, this is Green Bay's first NFC Championship and 1st "Post-Merger" Super Bowl Championship. Ironically marking 30 years since the 1966 Packers. 1996, 1997, 2010 2010 World Champions
In hindsight I almost feel bad that Brett Favre didn't win Super Bowl MVP for this game. If there was ever a Super Bowl where he would have earned it, this would have been it
14/27, 246 yards plus 2 TDs. Not bad, but not worthy enough. He didn't really have a great second half after his start. Howard was the big reason, he tied a then Super Bowl record with 244 all-purpose yards and he had the longest kickoff return for a TD at the time.
@@KWCline91 Maybe so, but as a result of Brett Favre not being awarded the Super Bowl MVP in this instance, he was ultimately robbed of EVER being able to hold that title because, as we all now know, he never won another Super Bowl after this. The closest he came was the very next season where he took the Packers to the Super Bowl again, but lost to John Elway and the Broncos

What a great SuperBowl this was. Seeing Reggie finally win one was amazing to witness. He totally deserved it. Go Pack Go!
Don’t forget Don Beebe as well! 4 straight Super Bowl losses in a row as a Buffalo Bill.
RIP 92🙏
One of my best days in my life growing up.
This was the first time Green Bay held the Lombardi trophy ever. The trophy wasnt named after Lombardi till 1975
at 4:20, you can see former Eagles Head Coach Doug Pederson
I can only imagine how nostalgic Packers fans must have felt during this moment and thought back to 29 and 30 years earlier

I still lose it when Reggie runs around the Super Dome hoisting the Lombardi Trophy. Nobody deserved it more than 92.

That was my favorite moment of that whole game. He held it up to the fans.
RIP 92.
@@johnselwitz5362Brett, Reggie, and Desmond all deserved the MVP.
Those are the best Super Bowl champion hats.
Im biased as a pack fan but they really are.
Andre Rison was a baller. I always wished the Pack would have invested in keeping him but it wasn’t to be. He’ll always have this moment though.
He made a mistake leaving for more money. I’d rather be winning Championships and he was that missing piece.

Very nice video.
2:40: “The Vince Lombardi Trophy is coming home where it started! World Champion Green Bay Packers!”
Is the old Packer announcer still alive?
The Packers need to host a SB.
Yeah, but it's unlikely to happen. Frigid conditions plus small market doesn't make it an ideal location.
RIP Vince Lombardi
"Reggie got him again!!"

@@ttewelow1 True, but even then, he might've had a co-mvp along with Antonio Freeman (9 catches, 126 yards and two touchdowns).
@@KWCline91 I didn't know it was possible to win co-mvp for the Super Bowl
@@ttewelow1 It's only happened one time (SB 12).
I know this is too much to asked but can you do your magic and upload nfl on fox pregame show week 17 intro the madden tribute
Unfortunately, I don’t have it
