Thank you being the only person doing these videos to show where the plastic clip with the pipe fits back onto the pump housing in the tank... Mine wasnt attached when i removed the pump and I couldn't work out how it should go back on 👍
@@cmidas3396 Have recently bought a MK1 180bhp as a project not quite the project yours is fella but still enjoy seeing others restore and mod cars so keep up the good work 👍
@@cmidas3396 The smallest one that fits on the bottom of the pump, what does it do? I haven't fitted it, only the big one on the bottom and the big one on the top
Not sure but I installed all the o-rings in the video. You may want to check the part number and confirm that you have the right one for your car because the front wheel drive and all wheel drive pumps are different.
@@cmidas3396 i mean need a new one, in comparison with oem pump, does the high end pump improves anything or is just for the only purpose on delivering fuel fast on stage 3 cars? Im not mechanic and I don't know to much about cars, but im fixing my own audi tt, so this question maybe stupid
Good job ! I have my new pump ready to install soon. Since I have already disassembled the all stuff, to clean the sensor tracks, because I had eratic gauge mesurements ( fine now ), yes I have struggled to plug the side part inside the tank.

Those wheels and tires are awesome like the rest of the car. Can you share the specs of the wheels/tires. LIKE!!
Thanks. The wheels are 19" staggered Axxis Penta wheels. Tires are 235/35/19 front and 265/30/19 rear.
Great video... Easy to follow. Thnx
Thans, I was hoping it would help others.
Did the problem with the morning start solved since you changed the pump or it was something else?Nice video!
Yeah that seemed to solve it. Thanks
Hello, the little o'ring I didn't install, do you have any idea what is it for? Should I open them up again and reinstall ?
What o-ring are you you talking about?

@@cmidas3396 And I've had it changed before I've upgraded it, and the stock one was without it also and it worked like that for ~4 years

@@cmidas3396 I have the FWD one, it is exactly the same like yours, I was curious what the small o ring was doing and if is critical
👍😎 its called a saddle tank ive got a 99 Quattro tt changed to a up rated pump also drained and cleaned both tanks new fuel filter much bettet now ❤
Yeah I changed my filter a while back but I might go ahead and change it again.
Will this put the tt doing better miles?
You mean better gas mileage? It depends how you drive it.

@HERMIR Yes, the bigger pump is to deliver more fuel for the tune.

Yeah just take your time with it and you should be fine.
@@cmidas3396 A question mate : what kind of lube or grease to applied on the O rings.
Guess in case of issue do to maybe a mix with the fuel ?
The lube comes with the DW65V pump.
@@cmidas3396
Ah ok ! Mine is a Sytec. No lube in the package, only a hose, clamps and O rings.
Oh ok. You probably just use a little silicone grease but it's not absolutely necessary
haha "douche works" if a german watches that they may be a little upset.
