My Mk1 TT with the old engine i had made 380whp on all four! And 440 at crank with race fuel. 200kg weight reduction, it was brutal. That little car punched away from a lot of high powered cars, and one race i really cant forget was a drag from 110 km/h to 270 km/h against an Audi RS6 V10 BiTurbo stg 2, thats 1900kg plus 2 people in it and 700hp. We were side by side all the way.. The owner of the RS6 was stunned and could not believe it when we stopped for a chat. So YES these small cars with that engine is a force to be recon with! Nice video and a very clean and good build :D
I had a Mk1 that I never should have bought. When I was looking I found one that looked almost stock in lovely condition, but what the guy did to it had it Dyno at 399bhp. It came with a beautiful folder of its life and I had to have it. I daily’d it for a year and then sold it to someone who worked for the Audi race team. No regrets owning it. Always got positive comments and was rapid.
Ive had the pleasure of riding in the passenger seat of Paul's car a couple of times and the acceleration is truly breathtaking. The way it goes around and exits a roundabout is something else. Zero body roll and instant power. I am currently thumbing through the receipts and history of the car for the "deep dive build" on my channel. Great to see it on Saturday once more with such a knowledgable and friendly owner. Great review lads.
Bought a Mk1 3.2 v6 (03) today! Driven it 50 miles so far and it is screamingly good. It's, essentially, a Golf MkIV R32 but in a frame/body designed by a (bauhaus-tic) minimalist artist/artisan genius.
Im normally not a huge fan of full black but gonna be honest the TT pulls it off quite nicely especially that interior beautifully done and that power is insane love to see this in the dry !
Honestly not just mk1 but all 1.8T or 5 cylinder mainfold injection is a beast. I use small port head for more torque on my A4 B6 g25-550 and is always make any passenger to smile.
I love the Mk1 TT, they’re like my beetles beefed up ‘well ard cousin 😂 This guy is so tuned into his car it’s very admirable indeed. That gearbox sounds amazing, the car goes like stink too 👌🏼 I love it
i have the same exact 2004 225 but mine is 1.8t stage 1 and i put the sport v6 front bumper on it off another v6 model so its literally looks exactly like this and i have 19inch ottienger rims and a lot of stuff done to mine. but the vr6 turbo is my dream build for it. i only have 90k miles on mine its super nice. i really want to put a vr6 turbo into mine or else a 2.5t 5 cylinder. the 1.8t is still fast and powerful for this small of a car definitely doesn't need more power but we all always want more power lol
I have to say, every time I drive it, I thrap the arse of it and love it@@MotorAddicts There is also something to be said of ringing the neck out of an unmodded one, you can literally drive it flat out. No Chance I could do that in mine..lol
@@dujuanjohnson5025 fully built 1-6 synchro kit from monster performance gears in Bulgaria built by gas n gears Bridgend Wales . Also quaife LSD cost in total £5k sounds insane when u add a CAE shifter it's mental 😉👍🏻shifter was £1100

I only really like the MK1 TT, when it came out it was out of this world, so different ❤

Will be back
@@MotorAddicts propa sleeper I'd say with the all black
Fantastic to see Pauls car again ( in the rain again). I wish my QS was like this but for now ill have to live with my measly 290bhp. ❤❤❤
Great video lads, the car has changed so much since it was on our channel. Look forward to a take 2!
Thing will go so much better in dry
Great job by host and Guest going throughout this chitchat , keep that joyful energy coming
Cool build. Very humble owner.

I see this car all the time as the owner lives just up the road from me, I always thought it was clean and I never realised it had this much power 😳
Say hi next time 😉
I'm not a fan of the shape of the MK1 TT, but this example is an exception. What an incredibly built car.
💯
Well put together ❤ love it well done nick enjoy your content and hats of to the owner well build 👍
And Loony Tunes are back! (Ab)normal service is resumed. Boomtime!
Lucky he brought it out in the weather
Go on nick 80k getting up there now well deserved 👏 fairplay for getting to enjoy the experience & abit lost for words
Thanks dude! Really appreciate that 🙌
That looks proper in all black, loved when you pulled away and left the car in the rear windscreen disappear
It shoots off
Was it a white Audi ?
Smoked it I’d say 😂
Couldn't say 100%, the black Audi was tearing away

@@MotorAddictsIt’s a stunning car 😍😍

Trying to find inspiration to rebuild my TT engine to a high spec, like this weapon.
🇦🇺🍀🤜🏼🤛🏼😎☮️
I do like a MK1 TT anyway, but this is definitely a cut above. Nice build.
100%

😂
Such a Nice build. 👌👌

Such cool cars built
What is this shifter I keep seeing I have a manual how do I get that 😊
It is manual it's a CAE shifter which will fit any MK1 TT or an A3
But the whole car is built engine gearbox clutch suspension exhaust all built
Let's do it again in the dry 😂😎
100%
Beautiful car
I have 3 MK1's in silver. Auto 6 speed, LHD quattro 6 speed Manuel and a rare Sportsline ABT 5 speed Manuel.
Wow an actual ABT only 10 ever made they are the rarest of the lot ?
My summer project I will post online @@paulknight7535
What's the turbo on this one? g25-550?
Yes 👍🏻
I won't one 😍😍😍
Is this a different trans setup mine is manual how do I get that
Usable power as well. Pull the haldex fuse on even a stock 225 and it's like trying to drive another built honda
Nice job. 👍
Shall we start a “Jesus” count for you Nick?😂
If we had a “Jesus” swear jar
We could probably afford to build one to this spec 🫣🤣
Agree
Anymore info on the gear box? I wanna do the same thing
What do you want to know?
@@paulknight7535 like what kind of gear box is it? I want mine sounding like that and what kind of shifter ? Thanks

What short shiifter did he say he had? CAE or custom made
CAE mate
CAE
So the car was upgraded with Ukranium.
Does anyone know where you can get that front bumper or the front bumper spoiler that he has on this car?
Bumper is QS as std or you can get a 3.2 one the lip spoiler was online as a cuppa R I fitted it
What wheels are on this? Anyone have any info /specs?
I will dig it out when I get the time but it's my winter set 😉
do you know what tyre width is it running ? 245 or 265? can you share his Instagram for some questions ? :)
225/r18. @knighty64k
Another great film! Definitely need to see the full spec list on this one. 100% bring it back in the dry! 👏🏼🫡
That's the plan!
