For this setup, max out the cpu and go with a Q9650. It's the faster quad core cpu you can go with and works alot better the the e series cpu. For the graphics card a gtx 1650 is ideal but a little costly but if your trying to save on this build consider a 1050 or 750ti, low profile models of course since they don't require supplemental power to the graphics card. They all work great but the cpu may bottle kneck the 1650 but later on down the road if you upgrade your system the 1650 is still a good card for newer builds. The factory one that came with it.
DLM tech garage ok thanks, they look a lot different to the newer sff power supply
For the SSD hard drive, did you install in the HDD bay?
in this SFF case i used some double sided tape and taped it off to the side. SSD are durable and light, and if you have the space or adaptor its easier to use the tape. I keep the full size drive for games and storage and use the SSD for my windows drive.
@@DLMtechgarage what is the tape? is optical drive? sory foy bad english..
@@hafiznatara The tape I used to wrap the cables was electrical cloth tap. sticks better and give that nice rugged look. As far as the optical drive you still use it as the board has enough if you add a ssd. Thanks for watching hope this help, feel free to ask more question, no apologies for the English and if you can hope you can subscribe to help the channel!
I wish I had that computer.......but everyone wish for what they dont have
I miss having it. It was a fun small little PC. def a light gamer nothing fancy but convenient. Thanks for watching and if not subscribed hope you can to help the channel.
@@DLMtechgaragei really like it
I can sell you one I have over 20 of them. I’ll sell each for 75 doge
motherboard is Optiplex 780, I wanted to ask you what processor and what graphics card do you recommend, I have 12gb RAM dd3, what I want is to play gta 5 and fornite, I just want to know what processor and what graphics card are good and compatible with my motherboard, thanks.
Thanks for watching and def keep me posted on your build and don't hesitate to ask any questions you may have and hope you can follow the channel for more builds and upcoming tips and tricks!
@@DLMtechgarage thanks friend, greetings from Argentina.

hello, can a core 2 duo run a game like DOTA 2 ?
yea it plays it pretty okay depending on which model you get. the e8400 i found is the sweet spot for it without going core 2 quad
@@DLMtechgarage PERFECT! ill take note of that.. thanks alot man.
Why new motherboard? It's not an optiplex anymore.
i'd only change the mobo for a newer generation for more potential and to keep the sleeper look of this case.
what brand and type of spray paint did you use
I use rustoleom engine spray for the metal components due to the paint being more durable. I use the rustoleom bonds to plastic one on the plastic. I like rustoleom case it dries faster and has been a little more durable. For the most part any automotive spray paint works great. Stay tuned cause I have a more in depth video on spray painting a case coming out soon!
A-MA-ZING :O
Thanks! Greatly Appreciate!
I loved the video, a few weeks ago my dad was going to throw away a pc of the same model, and thanks to you he can be given another chance, you won a subscriber bro, keep it up👍🏾
@@yarlinpierre8182 Thanks for the sub, really helps me out to keep doing this. Yea this was one of my favorite build/save/mod. loved the size and when maxed out it is a decent intro gaming pc.
i also have the same pc like u DLMtech garage
This was prbly one of my most favorite builds and PC I had. The small size was awesome, ran smooth with the upgrades and was a decent gaming pc for some of the games I played. Hate I sold it but had to make money for new builds!
@@DLMtechgarage thats right but i dont have money to upgrade my pc like u did in ur vid and making that PC mod upgrade but i am a kid so yh :D
I upgrading my too
Amd radeon r5 330
Quad core q6600
8gb ram
160ssd
Its a great set up for this small computer. I would def recommend a gt 1030 though as its much faster, no power needed and runs cooler. Thanks for watching and hope your subscribed for upcoming content!
Why only 8gb, why not 16gb?
for what the customer needed it was fine. I give them the option and if they want more we put it what they need
I'm fairly sure the 780 motherboards top out at 8gb. Prove me wrong so i can upgrade my own 780 😃
@@dglesterhardunkichud4017 Id could only get 8gb ram
@@dglesterhardunkichud4017 yea they are only 8gb max on this model
