@@mathusan No he's actually right, it all has to do with the surface having tons of micro spots for the bubbles! He was nailing it, just didn't sound confident enough 🤣
The micro spots are called nucleation sites, they help separate the gaseous CO2 that's trapped in the water without having to go through a state change such as boiling/freezing/etc. As usual, the Mythbusters explained it well in an episode, if you're more curious.

Jesper Den Braven honestly that really hit me cause I use a helmet on my motorcycle, but nothing when I mixed really dangerous chemicals for chemical glazing or firing for ceramics... like I wear sunglasses before the sun is even up....
