Aston Martin Vantage (#76) - 1:48.218 7. Lamborghini Huracan (#63) - 1:48.303 8. Bentley Continental (#8) - 1:48.314 9. Mercedes AMG (#4) - 1:48.341 10. Porsche 911 (#911) - 1:48.663 11. Lexus RC F (#114) - 1:48.811 12. BMW M6 (#98) - 1:48.854 13. McLaren 650 S (#58) - 1:49.315 The Ferrari took combined pole and led the first half of the race. However, the 2017 champion #1 Audi R8 had pace to go the distance, setting fastest lap in the final stint, narrowly beating the #43 Mercedes, as both cars worked their way up from poor grid positions. Having watched the race, it's clear the Nissan, Aston, Bentley, BMW and Porsche were a long way off the pace.

Keep explain when to brake and why and what cars are beneficial for which tracks because it helps a ton!!! Also ACC is amazing I hope it blows up and will have a massive player base. Impressive. Top time on the current hotlap event in the newer GTR was 1:46:8 last I looked so your time is right up there when adjusting for conditions. I'm way back at 1:48:6. Just goes to show what I've always thought which is that setups, by and large on the road side, aren't the magic bullet that some make them out to be. Whether we start to see the times come down now Motec telemetry is available remains to be seen of course. Like you I think the aggressive setups are already very good so I'd be surprised if they came down much unless a exploit is discovered. And if you're taking requests I'd love to see a similar comparison at a tighter, twistier track. Although given the cars are BOP track to track maybe the order wouldn't change.
Obviously the more you drive a track and car you find areas to push where you didnt push before, you start to drive the car in ways which get you around corners quicker. Coming into the first turn I begin turning quite early because this seems to slow the car more and then I trail brake to help it rotate more, there's a lot of concentration involved in pulling quick lap times and even the smallest mistake can cost you heaps. I might do this again on a different track but it will be a while because this video took a long time to prepare.
Pretty spot on during qualifying and practice sessions on Monza. The lambo drivers tend to spin out towards the end of a quick race and the Jag drivers powerslide.
for me I found the jaguar to be more difficult to drive than the lambo, although they both feel like iceskating on the aggressive setups, I just tend to prefer midengine handling over FR handling. I love the way the ferrari handles, but it feels slow compared to the lambo even when it's on the safe setup. Lambo is really nice to drive on the safe setup but super twitchy on the aggressive. If I had to guess which car I'll be picking out for my team, it'll probably be the ferrari or the lambo, depending on what all the other cars are like on full release. Since we're fairly competitive, we'll probably be going for the AMG or the Audi.
With good throttle control the jag is nice to drive, but its fully understandable if you prefer something else. Audi/amg should be the top performing cars if it's like real life, the Lamborghini too but we will see when 1.0 is out I guess
@@unleasheddrivers1281 yea I tend to drive GT3s a little heavy footed, driving the 488 for most of my hours in ACC doesn't really help because it's very forgiving with that. I could see myself doing well with the lambo if I improve my throttle control, and if it's anything like it is in AC, I probably won't like the Audi. Too bad I really don't like the look of the lambo. Not a whole lot of space for anime girls like there is on the AMG either, which is probably one of the most important considerations because as we all know, anime girls on your car subtract a second off of laptime.
Haha I guess you will be playing with the livery editor when it comes out. Audi should handle somewhat like the ferrari and Lamborghini and the merc maybe like the jaguar because of their engine placement but we can only wait and see for now
@@unleasheddrivers1281 I remember not liking the audi in AC for the same reason I don't like the M6, feels too big. More like you're at the helm of a star destroyer than driving a car. Definitely feels that way with the M6 and the Audi I think is a little smaller but still a wide boi

Hey I recently did 1.48.6 with alot of mistakes ..this car is not super fast I can confirm that and is really really hard to drive at Monza ...i think with my experience the most annoying factor I the lack of car handling ...i tried for hours to reduce the understeer and instability on curbs ..with very poor results.. But even in real life the Bentley sucks , so I'm not surprised she get to the bottom of ur list.
Great video, but did you really only use the aggressive setup for the BMW? I am amazed about your breaking points. For example 2nd chicane at the orange paint or Ascari at the orange as well. How do you do this? If I try those breaking points my car just says :"oh you have chosen failure"...

Well coming into the corners I use full brakes and lift off the brake gradually but quickly as you turn into the corner. This is something that takes a lot of practice.
Master your braking markers for each track, this is critical. try to do all you're braking in a straight line where eve possible, ideally turning in once you're off the brakes and the car has settled. Once you've mastered that start learning how to trail brake. Watch a tutorial video on this if you don't know what it is. HTH.
BMW M6 does 47.0 on aggressive setup but you Need a perfect lap...lambo Is the fastest atm..you can do some mistakes but the latest Monza bops, made the lambo super super fast on Monza.
how was the lambo before this update for you? I found it a bit slower than the Nissan but I only got the game at 0.6 update and 90% of the time I drove the Nissan so maybe I'm just used to the car.
The lambo has always been a really good car! the front end grip is just amazing, is super agile on tight corners..you need to pay attention only to 2 things: Be smooth on the brakes or she can loose very easily the rear, and just learn wich kerb you can attack or avoid, since the front end is a bit "forced" to be rigid to maintain good aero balance, she doesn't like much bumpy/high kerbs :D
This can be done but doesn't necessarily make you faster, even a developer mentioned this on the ACC forums. On the first assetto corsa the top times were driven with TC on too.

I am old drifter french and i am on ps4 whith t300 rs (21 years i play racing wheel) but i waiting this game and during 1 year the multi is limited at gt2 and gt3 on 3 tracks? I dont no? He have 178 cars and 16 tracks! After 1 years he authorized create lobby! The replay on game is dies, dont win monnaye for buy cars dont tune car and no objectif! The developper kill the game and second opus limit at gt cars? After gran Turismo and project car 2!!! I dont understand this choice! Whith every mods and possibility développement on pc! Create a édit map for players and send cars!! Tuned atmo compressor and turbo With diffèrent level on every cars for every possibility and create 1 championship With différent level players in agreement with the power of tuned! And this is the best game at the world!!!!!!

I feel the most comfortable in the BMW and GT-R and run more consistent times vs using the Lambo. I dont know how anyone even drives the Jaguar .

I don't see how you can drive the Jag with the aggressive setup. I slide all over the place with the low TC and ABS. I must have a lead foot
Coming out of corners is the hard part, gotta be gentle on the throttle and if you can become good at throttle control then it's a great car to drive
reached 46.6 with some modify of that setup, like more camber and fast bound

I can't do any better than 150 flat..I put in 1000s laps ,I drive perfect lines...how do you get such great times?

All these laps in this video were driven on the aggressive setup, I just did a 1:47.2 in the GTR with a modified setup and uploaded the hotlap video
