    Enjoying the content! But I think it should be mentioned that it's much more important to know your car - and I mean 1 or max. 2 cars - than constantly changing cars because someone said it's the fastest one on a specific track. Will you loose some tenth on some tracks? Sure. But you will gain some more tenth by knowing exactly what the car is capable of or not, learning perfect lines for that specific car or working on the setup.

      Thanks Marc! I very much agree with this, especially early on when you are still learning the game. We have some content coming up in the very near future when this kind of stuff is talked about, so keep an eye out :)

      I got about 100hrs on the V8 vantage, I love how planted it is and I'm intimately familiar with it's setup, but I still struggle with it on anything outside my main 3 tracks, which are Spa, Monza and Mount Panorama, in that order too. I can't even imagine picking up another car and being that competitive, I'm barely managing below 2:20s on Spa with a car that I'd say is perfectly tuned for me (flat in 6th through Eau Rouge, flat out of turn 16 onto the back straight, flat around blanchimont, etc) I just don't have that sort of confidence and everytime I go out of my way to A try another car around Spa, I just end up spinning out or doing absolutely horrible times because I'm trying to take liberties with them that I can with the AMR V8. But similarly I do horribly on tracks I don't know well even with my AMR V8 and then get disheartened and just crawl back to Spa lol.

      @@AntaresSQ01 Same struggle for me. Tried the 488 few times. Needed hours to get used to the very different behavior, finally pulled off single laps faster than with the Vantage, but still not able to keep this over a race. So I stay with the Vantage, trying to master track after track. To master for me means driving times "only" 2 sec something max slower than the aliens. Will never be able to catch them... Took me months of driving to get to 2:18 something on Spa or 1:48 on Monza. This week on lfm Suzuka is the track to drive. I know the track, but I am not used to it in GT3 / ACC. So far, in split 2 I was nearly 4 sec off the pole. By the end of the week I guess I will be 1 to 2 sec faster. But there is still the top split... the struggle is real...😉

    • @TraxionGG
      @TraxionGG  3 года назад +1

      Hey Aaron, there’s no doubt that the Porsche isn’t as strong as it used to be in terms of pace. It’s still a unique car and there are certain circuits where it can perform well, but it’s hugely setup and driving style dependent. If you have a good way of driving it and setting it up and you enjoy it, then it can still be a good car, but if not then I would probably say there will be other cars that are stronger over a season of multiple races.
