I started off in ACC racing in the LFM BMW M2 series, which is awesome: respectful drivers, and great racing. My very first race in the LFM rookie GT3 Sprint series was absolute carnage, drivers just barging people out of the way. Too scared to try again 😂
It's a weird one. I've only come back out of Rookies this week after getting dumped there when they changed the minimum safety rating. I don't think the standard really changes. Just picked up my first win in my 99th LFM race an hour ago (God, I love Watkins Glen) from P8 but one of the reasons were the other drivers making mistakes. The pole sitter got taken out on L2. For most of the race from then on, I was in P3. Then the bus stop came to my rescue twice. I'm still driving in the lower lobbies and the standard can be shocking at times - earlier in the week, got taken out when a back marker was really slow on the racing line in turns 2 and 3. What's offputting, though, is watching you wipe the floor with my best lap times with almost 50 seconds' worth of damage.
Like to see close racing & overtakes rather than a procession with no-one taking chances - it's entertainment after all. Who wants to watch someone 10 seconds out in the lead unless they are lapping other cars (which seldom happens with short races)? In other words, Rory probably doesn't need to be an alien, let alone a goat.

I love how there is a sign saying go bowling and everyone seemed to take that quite literally 😂

I think lfm have fucked up by having lower Sr for a 45 min than a 25min. Makes no sense to me

All races have multiple of those idiots. I'm often one of them, don't worry about it :) You'll blend in with the rest of us.
