For Day 7 of the 12 days of Flipmas, I grabbed an IKEA Tarva Dresser & 2 Nightstands! After spending 4.5 hours putting them together, I tried my hand at applying prepasted, textured, paintable wallpaper to the drawer fronts and painting them a beautiful green! Let me know what you think!

A lot of people like IKEA products. So it was great that you chose to demonstrate putting it together and painting one of their products. I love the wallpaper on the front of the dresser. I didn’t know there was paintable wallpaper. I love your Christmas series.

Printable wallpaper is so cool and pretty easy to apply. I've done several feature walls in my houses over the years. It goes on like a dream and is super easy to paint over. Just be sure to use the appropriate roller for the job, if doing a wall, vs furniture. You can just ask the person where you buy paint supplies to show you which roller is best for something with texture like the wallpaper. Laurens flip turned out amazing!!!
Upon unboxing, I was immediately upset at how the rails were very noticeably bent. But I kept going, all tools needed to assemble were included ruclips.net/user/postUgkxqtX4Dxs6aecAZEuz6GY5-d81YecKCshn and I had it set up in about 30 minutes. Honestly I love this thing, make sure to read the measurements and measure your space so you know if it'll work for you. I bought this to put inside my closet, underneath where I hang my clothes and it is absolutely perfect! It is VERY sturdy and all drawers glide easily and mine are stuffed, and they are still flush when closed.
OMG those are gorgeous!! I would not even put IKEA furniture together for $175 because it raises my blood pressure...those folks got a steal deal for such one-of-a-kind pieces!! Awesome job!!

They turned out gorgeous!! It's funny you did this because I just learned about paintable wallpaper about a week ago and here you are using it in your flip. I have a wall in my living room that has wallpaper and I've been trying to figure out what to do with it for a very long time (15 years) it's not finished underneath. Paintable wallpaper will be my solution! I can't wait!

I have been binge watching your videos and am so inspired! I just wanted to comment that cutting wallpaper a bit larger is a good thing as wallpaper will stretch and shrink as it is applied and dries. As I was watching and seeing that wallpaper I had all these wonderful inspiration bells going off - this would be so cool if it was pit on the drawers - then metallic rubs used to make it look like tin ceiling panels!

Very beautiful result. Personally I might have had a darker top and bottom (I love glaze in "orange pine") , but with your knobs yours makes much sense.

Lauren Have you ever thought about getting a branding Iron with FFT so you can brand the pieces you do...Neiman is right It is sooooo Unique and Its a Lauren Original A stamp inside would be so cool!! Love You both ...and the camera work is on point Neiman!!
This is a great idea!!! Or a little plaque that says Made by Lauren, FFT and maybe the State in which it's made...a super super great idea!!!
I recently did this. Worked in my garage where it was a little cool. Got some air bubbles as I used Mod Podge as an adhesive. I was advised to use more than the adhesive it comes with. Anyway, when it dried I painted it and got air bubbles in about half of the drawers. I don’t know if Mod Podge was really really dry as the garage was still cool. I heard some people say online that once it dries the air bubbles would flatten out. So I realized that the extra time it was taking to dry because of the temp in the garage was probably part of the problem. So I brought the 3 drawers into the house and overnight it dried and the bubbles flattened out. I’ll do one of those again but this time I’ll bring the drawers into the house right away to dry if it’s still winter when I do it.

This came out so beautiful. I did a small dresser just like that a few years ago. My color was a light gray and I used a pearl gray knobs. I loved the way it came out. Wallpaper on dressers has been around for a while. Great job with the green gorgeous color. So happy you made a profit. I couldn’t sell mine because I loved it to much lol. ⭐️⭐️⭐️❤️
Best to still use wallpaper paste with pre pasted paper.especially when you’ll be using more paint on top of it.
I love the airbnb content but what made me subscribe was the flips. Im glad you brought some back! I love building ikea furniture and i get confused how people struggle with it lol. Love these! Give me good ideas for my own boring ikea pieces.

The Tarva furniture price has increased A LOT over the couple of years that I've wanted to buy them. I just have never made it to IKEA. Now it's not the most economical choice for me. Can't wait to watch and see what you've done with them.

I Love using paintable wallpaper! I did a one of a kind black dresser that had the paintable wallpaper and sold it in a week! I was so happy and all it takes is one person who loves one of a kinds😊 Happy Holidays and thanks for sharing your talents & love of furniture!

I’m curious as to why you’re working back at your parent’s house since the rental was the perfect place for working.
We actually had Neiman's family take over the lease at the rental because they were in need of a place to live. Right now my parent's garage is the best place for us to flip.

I am wondering if you have thought about using stencils on your projects. Etsy has some gorgeous stencils and I keep thinking that certain parts of the air bnb might benefit from using them also.
