You might already do this, but if not....maybe you could pour a little bit of whatever color paint you use (especially when it's a custom color) into a smaller jar and stick it in one of the drawers so that the buyer can do touch ups if ever needed. Just a thought!! This turned out great!!!!💜💜
One of the many things I love about Lauren’s teaching is that even though the process is pretty much the same each time, she explains it each time. For example, why it’s important to remove hardware, clean the furniture first, wiping after sanding, or sanding after each layer, etc. She doesn’t skip over those points. Even though I’ve watched many, many of her videos, I appreciate the repetition so that it’s in my brain & not new every time. Then with each flip, there is something new since each one is different with different paint or technique.
You are seriously my favorite furniture flipper! You don’t drag on like some but give all the information needed. Love your channel and so does my 2 year old 😂-she’ll say, “Furniture Flipping Teacher?” When she wants to watch you and Neiman! Love it 😍
In 1968, my husband and I bought this exact dresser with a mirror attached with our wedding money. We also bought the bed and chest of drawers. The entire three piece set was $495.00. That was a fortune back in 1968. We kept the complete set for 25 years. My son now has this piece and uses it without the mirror as a tv console and my other son still has the bed. 55 years later, these pieces still look factory perfect with just a few nicks. I asked my son to send me a photo. Yes, it is an exact match. My husband had a good laugh and said to me, “I told you that we should have kept it!”
Shout out to NEMAN: Your photography SKILLs on this video are Amazing!!! Loved the shorts in the intro made me want to see more. Loved angle shots and close ups where Lauren was mixing paint color and loading paint sprayer! WOW 🤩 YOU ROCK MAN!
💜💜💜💜💜💜Oh how fun!!!🎉🎉🎉🎉, honestly, it’s a really beautiful piece and it doesn’t look childish! I could even see that in a stylish home with someone who just loves using color! Maybe you should step out more with your colors! I loves it!! You always do an outstanding job!🎉👏🏼👊🏽🥇🏆⭐️💜💜💜
Great piece, Lauren! You can truly tell that you are a teacher, and a very good one. You don’t just say, I did this and that, like other flippers, but you explain why and how you did it! I appreciate that! Btw are you still teaching or are you flipping and renting full time?
Purple is my favorite color. Love the final product. I have ordered a few colors from Dixie Belle. I will have to try the color mix feature. Keep up the good work, Lauren.
I love me some PURPLE! OMGoodness this turned out stunning! Thank you for showing us your detailed steps. I didn’t know that there were products available to make the wood surfaces sleek and smooth with no grain showing. I’ve always loved seeing the wood grain. That is cool that there are products out there that can achieve this desire result. I love the sleek finish.
I totally appreciate your love of MCM. I refinished my parents MCM bedroom set prior to discovering your YT channel and we share some common design ideas. Keep up the great work.
Lauren, the color is beautiful. Not my favorite but I'm sure the child that wanted that color will love it. I prefer the wood colors like pecan and walnut. You do such a great job....
You are so thoughtful, precise, professional. Your explanations are clear. I hope the little girl client appreciates the piece. Can definitely see this in a modern loft condo not just a girls bedroom.🎉
I think the color is a beautiful purple although it is not what I would want. When my daughter was young her whole bedroom was purple. Walls, carpet etc. ! She would love this. Thanks Lauren 💅🖌️
Absolutely love this and I have been truly enjoying your videos. I am just now starting to do this myself and you have been a great influence. Thank you and continued good work and services. Much love from down the Bayou
Whenever I see her French provincial redos, I remember my childhood best friend who had white French provincial bedroom furniture, beautiful purple carpet, & lavender curtains! (1970’s) I loved her room! AND she had white wallpaper with tiny purple flowers on it - nothing garish. It was very subtle wallpaper.
You are the constantly good teacher ,becoming even better each time we see you. Thank you. That view from above with the drone puts all into perspective. Good filming. Coloring in the lines was such a good lesson to learn, wasn't it? Especially when you want to color going outside those boundaries. Stay well.
I was wondering the same🤭 Does the dust and spray paint spread to their property? My neighbor (just one thankfully) has complained when I sand outside and when I use mineral spirits😬🥺
Hope the little person's who received this dresser loves the color. I think it turned out beautifully, such a bold color, really gorgeous finished dresser.😊
I love this and really all of your pieces. One little tool you can add to your arsenal is a silicone scrapper. These would be the type you use to scrape out a bowl of cookie batter or mashed potatoes. Get the small ones, you can probably get 3 for 5.00, they clean up well and you can scrape the paint out of your containers, not losing a drop.

Great idea!
In previous videos she said she always does that.

I love that you show the “oops” in your videos”, the bag from the sander flying off is classic 😂. Love your channel ❤️

That was a great investment! It is a timeless style and will always be desirable. ❤
Love this❣️
Great story! Old furniture is so much better quality than the new stuff.
What goes around comes back around!
I agree, that color came out beautiful.

It looks great Lauren! I’m sure this young lady will love her purple dresser! 🥰🥰🥰
I am a huge fan of all of your videos. The taping three drawers at once, brilliant!
Lauren you are so good at what you do! Loving how you show each step since we refurbishers really enjoy watching it all done in 30 mins, ha!
Spectacular 😍 If possible, I would love to see this piece in the finished room.
Bondo makes a one part spot putty for those little imperfections btw. It’s red and works great.
Great piece, Lauren! You can truly tell that you are a teacher, and a very good one. You don’t just say, I did this and that, like other flippers, but you explain why and how you did it! I appreciate that! Btw are you still teaching or are you flipping and renting full time?

I love it. Purple is one of my favorites. Beautiful job. Love how you show how to do the different steps and what kind of paint to use. 😊❤❤
Beautiful job! You just keep getting better.
It's beautiful! I hope your client loves it!!!
You are the queen of furniture flipping. The details that you make sure not to over look really sets you head and shoulders above the rest. Well done.
Lauren, it's STUNNING!!
The simple lines on this piece are outstanding, and the paint and stain you chose just took it over the top. Just beautiful!!!
Freaking love the colour. Good on you 👍👏

I love purple too!!! My sister and I had purple carpet and lavender curtains, and white French Provencal furniture back in the 60's.😊🎉❤

I’ve wondered if any of your neighbors pay attention to what you are doing on the driveway?! Great seeing the changes you make.
a lot of our neighbors know what we do and just wave 😊 thank you!
I was wondering the same🤭 Does the dust and spray paint spread to their property? My neighbor (just one thankfully) has complained when I sand outside and when I use mineral spirits😬🥺
Hope you see this question🤓
Gorgeous .

I don’t usually like to paint mcm dressers, but this one was called for paint. You did an amazing job on it.
good color
How do you know how much water to add to the paint?
