Well, To be completely honest I watched this video out of curiosity, and also to support your channel. But I did not think I was going to like this technique or the end result. So consider my mind officially blown🤯…. It turned out amazing!!!!! it really looks like wood😮 and maybe white washed wood/paint washed wood. I just think this was the first time you ever used these products. So great job going outside your comfort zone and trying something completely brand new.

I love Retique it…I got the nerve to buy it finally a couple months ago. I didn’t have a good experience years ago with the graining tool, and I was skeptical that I could get it right. I was so wrong. You do have to practice, but there are videos to instruct. This has opened a whole new area for me…laminate is much cheaper to buy to flip. And my customers are crazy over it. I haven’t had any problems selling anything.
Lauren you are very brave to start out with a round table lol
I just stick with flat surfaces!
    Great job…they look beautiful

I’m a huge wood grain/faux bois’ fan and artist. I find it’s good to keep the paint/glaze wet in small areas, not the whole top or circle. Then slide and rock the tool, gives more variation and knots along the grain. Great efforts and like that new paint!
