@@Teacher-T-Thailand Since it is a Royal Enfield's genuine parts, I basically just go back to the local dealership here in Sydney Australia and ask them with the parts number shown from your video, luckily they happened to have the very last unit in the other state, funny the local dealership here also wasn't sure if it going to fit for the SM650. 🤣However, your video gave me a solid confident and so I insist them to go ahead for the stock transfer, got it after a long wait for 2 weeks and had it installed for just less than 30 minutes. 😁

This is excellent tuition, thanks Teacher T! Clear and understandable voice and explanations, good instructions, good camera, lovely bird whistling in the garden :-). I'll never understand why RE hides the SM650 USB port in the tool/air filter compartment.

That was a really interesting video with loads of transferable skills and information.
I went a slightly different way with my addition of a dual USB port. I ran the power from a Healtech "Thunderbox" power management module under the seat, up under the tank to the cable cluster on the right-hand side of the head-stock.
I then routed it up to the area just above and to the right of the Tripper (soon to be replaced by the Beeline Moto 2 unit. I designed and 3D printed a mount for the USB unit and had that clamp round the Tripper housing.
It's up where I can get to it for plugging in cables and the dual USB socket can be independently powered off when I don't need it.
As you say, the area behind that plastic headlight shroud is a mess and I found it really difficult to get the shroud back into place when putting it all back together again. It looked like mine had already been mangled when being put together in the factory.

FWIW, I just ran a simple 2m Male USB to Female USB cable from the USB outlet in the Toolkit compartment under the tank and to the handlebar.
I chose a nice thick cloth braided cable to counter the engine heat.
Used some velcro tape to tidy up the loose ends and VOILA!
Spent no more than 300 Indian rupees.
Of course it is not as neat as the covered outlet of the OEM part, but does the trick!
If routed properly, it is quite tidy.
Took me no more than 5 mins to do it.

I also attached a simple OBD adapter to the diagnostics port in the battery compartment.
I then use the DMD2 app on an Android phone for extended readouts such as RPM, Engine Coolant Temp, Batt voltage etc.

Excellent video…I believe the USB on some of the 350 models are on the handlebar..Why the SM650 has it in the area by the tool set is confusing. Would under the tank and under the seat be a good route for a wire? Thanks for posting…

Yes the Meteor 350 has this OEM part pre fitted. This method gives you 2 working usb points. So I can charge phone on either handle bars, or in my pocket with a cable from the side cover. I prefer the later, and then have a usb spare on the handle bars for a camera 🙏
