Tina Turner live @ The Tube (1983)

Tina was guest on The Tube by the end of 1983, when her new single Let’s Stay Together was on the charts in England. She performed a mini concert, with maybe some more songs than the ones that were latter aired and recorded.
Let’s Stay Together featured the guest appearance of the producers Martyn Ware and Greg Walsh providing background vocals (actually, this song was performed twice, Tina wearing a different outfit).
The show took place at Tyne Tees studios in Newcastle, and you can notice a young Annie Lennox among the audience.

Thanks for posting this video ❤Just been to see Tina the show in Sydney 19 Oct, brilliant, if you get a chance to see it I definitely recommend it,took me back to 1983 and this special Tina did on the Tube,I think it definitely helped in her revival, the Heaven 17 lads get a part in the show (spoiler alert apparently Tina couldn’t understand them,wonder if she understood what a bunch of Geordies were shouting at her 😅)but it would have been good if the Tube and the great Newcastle crowd had been acknowledged in her great comeback . Anyway we’ve still got her great music to listen to 🎤🎧R.I.P Queen of Rock and Roll Tina Turner ❤🎤
