RIP, Tina Turner. It's been nice knowing you.
Sad loss Tina is an inspiration, and a positive force in our live her music will love on in our hearts, and consciousness!❤🙏🏽.
After all the obstacles she experienced had her well deserved success. Another movie she was offered to act was The Purple Color in 1985 but since Danny Glover's character was similar to Ike that brought her bad memories, still I think she could been good in that roll
She will be forever be the best. RIP Tina Turner. ❤❤❤❤❤

Tina was a badass misfit! She had songs that stuck in my head for days. 😱😜💃
@@noelgibson5956 🤗 Yes, she was badass💃🏽🎤🎶💋💖🌹😍 But why a misfit, what does that mean?🤔
@@pairrynwatson4229
It's a compliment. She was out of the ordinary in a cheeky, admirable way.
May the absolute rock and roll queen rest in peace. "We don't need another hero", the memories of her are enough.
Yes, we dont need another hero - she is the biggest one...
Thank you TINA....for everything !!
Oh no, she ain't resting. She's making the angels dance upstairs ❤
I love how huge and loved she is overseas. Those huge stadium concerts give me chills.
She once said that in America she was just successful but in Europe she was up there in the rock stratosphere with Mick Jagger etc.
Overseas? You mean in the USA? She was a Swiss citizen.
@Wynn She was born in the US but she stopped paying taxes there when she renounced her US citizenship. Obviously, as a Swiss citizen you don't pay taxes in the US. Switzerland has always treated her much better than the US.
@Wynn The USA is the only country in the world to which you pay taxes even if you don't live there. That's why she decided to renounce her US citizenship.
She was not a queen, she was the EMPRESS...Tina thank you for all you give to the world. God bless you! 🕊
No, she was the Goddess of pop and her music will never die.
@@davidvarley1812 She was also a GREAT HUMAN BEING and I love her for that :)))
All her songs too :)
This woman was a Queen in every sense of the word. She influenced every woman that followed her in the music industry. One of the very few celebrities that I am inspired by myself. Inspired to be a better person, father, and husband.
RIP to the undisputed undefeated Queen of Rock n Roll, the inspiration, and the BEST LEGS God ever gave a woman. RIP to the great and incomparable Queen Tina Turner.
What a lovely tribute!😍😍😍I agree to everything you wrote, @ssjphenom7952 ...🤗🤩
*Simply the Best* !
Rest in the light, Tina Turner (Bach) . Your legacy will always be there, also for the generations to come...💞💞💞

I saw her in concert in ‘87 and my god she was just fantastic!
When my dad was in college, Tina did a show at Auburn Uninivsy, he and his roommate, who is my godfather, went to see and they met Mrs Tunner, my dad said she was really nice and could dance as crazy. May Mrs Tunner forever rest in peace
I saw her in a concert in my country Thailand in around 1987. I was just a shy highschool student. It's still the first and only world-class concert I have ever bought a ticket for in my life, and I flew from the north to the middle part of my country just to see her on the stage for an hour. It's still the first and the only time I have ever been on a plane too. Thank so much Tina for the great inspiration and the strength you gave to me and people around the world. This is my private Tina Turner moment to remember.
@@jaclynsanture6643 because she is a lovely Human Being at first...and then is coming her performance too :))
@@reallove16121969 great for you. TINA really is the only one who deserved you watching her :))
All the best :)
@@magorzatamargaret294 It is very nice of you to say so. I entered the monkhood for almost 3 decades a few years later after I saw Tina. We both are Buddhists. That is why it was the only concert I went to see in my life. (^^)
Great list for an ICONIC performer. Rest In Peace, Tina Turner, forever a legend. She was phenomenal as The Acid Queen.❤️❤️❤️
She had natural talent and her voice and style were all her own. She sang her heart out and that energy was pure adrenaline.

Just watching her perform leaves you breathless! Such an icon, a true inspiration, and one of the best live performers ever! We'll miss ya, Tina!
Thankful I was able to see her concert in late 80’s! Her energy was amazing! She left it all onstage! Phenomenal performer!😢💕
Rest in peace, Tina. We lost a legandary lady and iconic singer, and she'll forever be Simply the Best! 😍💕
What's your favorite Tina Turner song?
@@kamsismith Probably What's Love Got to do with It or Proud Mary. How about yourself?
@@trinaq Honestly, same. I also started loving Simply the Best because months before Tina’s death, they played it in a lot of commercials. I didn't listen to Tina as much as I listened to Whitney Houston, she had hella hits because her music was played in movies, TV shows, and commercials. I hope they don't try to do a second biopic on her because Angela Bassett’s version was a perfect movie that would be difficult to replicate.
“What’s Love Got to Do With It” is literally my number one favorite Tina Turner song.
Such a bop.
Thats the only song i ever listened to 😆💜 checking out more of her songs.
My fav is the one she loved singing the most ... "THE BEST! " 👍😉
And she didn’t even like it
She reminds me a lot of my mom. My mom is such a strong woman, very unapologetic, and not scared to show her personality. The last time we went to NYC, there were giant banners about a Broadway play about Tina, and mom wanted to take a picture with the banner... Some people thought she was Tina because she looks so much alike 😅.
Tina will always be remembered as a strong woman that gave her everything in her performances. RIP ❤
😢
I saw Tina in 1986 and my god what a show! She was pure energy and beauty. River Deep Mountain High will always be my favorite song. Rip Anna Mae, your legacy is secure.
Rest in peace to a legend. Gone, but never forgotten.
HOLY Basic Instructions Before Leaving Earth. Book of JOHN 3:16 RIP
I have been obsessed with Tina Turner since I was a freshman in high school when Private Dancer came out. I took a lot of flack from kids for liking this “old” woman. But, I stayed true. I saw her 4 different times in concert including her last tour, which sold out all over, at age 69 and she still rocked it!! Hmmm… I wonder where most of those bands those kids were listening too, that made fun of me, have been all those years later?? 😏
😏
She was and is ETERNAL! ❤
My greatest memory of Ms. Turner would 100% being lucky enough to see her 1995 Wildest Dreams tour in Memphis, Tn!!! I've seen some incredible women in concert Heart, Garbage, Alanis Morissette but Tina Turner will forever be my all-time favorite!!! I have so many wonderful memories of her and am grateful to have seen The Queen Of Rock and Roll!!! ❤
Most Australians will know this but my favourite Tina Turner moment HAD to be when she join forces with the NRL promoting Rugby League in Australia. HELL!!! She even preformed "Simply the Best" on the Sydney Harbor Bridge with NO SAFETY GEAR!!!!! I also watched her preformed at a grand final back in 1993 and she was breath taking!!!!!! Rest well Tina Turner!!!! Thank you for everything!!!❤❤😢😢
On one of those NRL talk shows, they were saying that her ads for the NRL ended up being shown in roughly 80+ countries.
With Tina willing to put her name to the game, she literally helped show the world our country's league competition.
As for the 1993 grand final, I've only ever seen tv footage but the crowd singing 'simply the best' back to her was amazing!
I would go to the movies on a Saturday in Australia & they would always show that NRL music clip before the movie. I LOVED THIS SONG!!!! I STILL DO.
She was synonymous with the NRL in the early nineties.
I agree
I will never forget her concert in Melbourne Australia in the mid '90's......the best artist I have ever seen. Love you forever Tina. RIP
She is and will always be simply the best~ She is hooked into the universal energy of our time!
I’m glad she outlived Ike. That’s a a fearless, courageous woman. So inspiring❤
I just wish he had lived long enough to see how he didn't break her spirit like he tried to do.And long enough to see how much more famous she became without him. But like you I'm glad she outlived him.👍
@@lettiegrant9447 He did.
He did see Tina succeed!👍
more than a timeless Icon, she's a cultural & a musical symbol...always a legend, a fighter and one of a kind..R.I.P. Queen 🌹❤
This has me in tears. She was phenomenal, inspiring, beautiful , and amazing. Rest in peace Tina Turner!
It was just the best to see her live in concert. She took you on a ride that was exhilarating and rocked you to the bare bones. No one will ever match her talent. ❤👑.
Totally agree! NO ONE! ❤

Tina Turner did so many great songs, it's impossible to pick an absolute favourite. The truth is, she was simply the best.
RIP to my queen and icon. Keep rolling down heaven's river Tina Turner! 👑💐
Her performance on Divas Live ‘99! RIP Tina always simply the best!!! Her legacy will live on❤
I especially love her entrance: stepping out of that stretch limousine and strutting across the foyer in all her glory.
Mine too
I get shivers every time I hear her sing & even talk. You will certainly be missed but your voice will live on! 🥰🥰🥰🥰🇨🇦
Simply the best, Tina Turner💘, the icon.
She is the most beautiful, strongest, electrifying and most groundbreaking person that ever lived. I don't know when will ever have an amazing voice that'll make our eardrums happy but Tina's will always be iconic. I know she's in peace after what she's been through but Tina will always be a symbol for strong women and young girls. Watching Angela Bassett's applaud worthy performance shows why Tina is a shining star that will never fade. She should have won that Academy Award.
I agree, whole heartedly. Angela Bassett’s performance was astonishing, the first time I tried to watch it, I had to ask for it to be turned off during one of the more violent scenes because it was viscerally real and disturbing. She was robbed of the Oscar, and despite the acclaim, received no calls for acting jobs for a year and a half, which is mind boggling. So glad the film was made though. My mother was subjected to similar violence through two marriages. She idolised both Tina and Cher, and in the second half of her life used them as an inspiration which transformed her from a meek, timid and introverted girl, into a bold, funny, larger than life, tour-de-force. I imagine she had a similar impact on countless women, which means she wasn’t just a great musician, she was a hugely important figure in recent history and for the advancement of women. They could give Bassett two Oscars and it still wouldn’t be enough recognition of just how important and necessary her performance, and her telling of Tina’s story was.
@@richietaylor9870 Wow. I'm glad Tina became a symbol for your mom to get over her rough marriages. If you ever seen an actor who sweat and bled for an Oscar and got nothing, Angela Bassett is one of those actors. Especially since she hurt one of her ribs during the domestic violent scenes. She took my breath away and remains one of the biggest snubs in awards history. I can watch the movie three times for the performances but I would skip the scenes with Ike which are more horrifying than a horror movie.
The first concert i ever went to was Tina Turner on her Private Dancer tour in 1984. I was 15 and it was an amazing experience.
And yes, I remember that Grammy performance. 🥰
RIP, Ms. Turner.
Thanks. I've been a gigging R&B musician since 1967, age 15. Glad to have lived so long and been able to watch and listen to Tina.
She paved every road for all women across the globe. How can you not love & revere this incredible icon.
I miss her so much already ❤ You really learn to appreciate someone when they die 😢 She and her music have always been a part of my life in a way
I only hope that when she left this mortal coil that she knew just how LOVED she was and always will be by her fans. Rest in peace and love, Tina Turner. ❤
How I love and idolize this woman she's a beautiful soul in and out there will never be another like her her voice is out of this world I love you Tina Turner and you will be so missed
Her energy on stage will forever be remembered, simply the best is my favorite song of Tina🎉❤
Tina you claim that north 🌟 and ascended to the next level . Your an inspiration to women and humanity- Tina your positively and eloquence will truly be missed !

May you rest in peace Tina Turner, it was a privilege and pleasure to have been brought up with your timeless classics and that uniquely soulful voice.. Sadly for many of that generation it's the end of an era.. But they will always live on in spirit and through their music 💯🙌🙏🙏
I don't have a one,because I love every thing she did,and will always will❤❤
RIP the greatest singer of all times from rock and pop we miss you Tina Turner.
There will never, ever be anyone like Ms Tina !! I am 77 years old and seen many singers come and go in my life so far, BUT Ms TINA remains the top one !!!
She shows her love and dedication to her fans in every performance she gives….all you need to do is look at her face and see the enjoyment she
gets from singing and giving joy to people…………
She will will never be forgotten as long as one of her fan is alive !!❣️❣️❣️
Of course, my favorite song by her is “Proud Mary”……………Rolling on the River, oh the memories that song brings back !!!! She was and still
Is a Treasure to us all………❤️❤️❤️🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹
Such an amazing and inspirational beautiful soul 💕 RIP Tina Turner❤ thank you for sharing your life
Tina Turner was an amazing Artist!!!! She was simply, the BEST! I was always a fan and was lifted by her combination of persona and Super talent! Be in peace Tina! You did a great job when you were here!
I grew up a huge fan of Tuna Turner.
I was 18 years old when she left Ike, it was all over the news and celebrity mags n rags.
Of course I rooted for her, loved her, and remained a fan.
When I met my husband, our first date was playing pool, drinking beer and chatting about our favorite things to do. One of mine happened to be having a bbq. He invited me over for the next day.
When I got there, I could hear Tina Turner's new hit What's Love Got To Do With It playing.
I thought oooh, if he is a fan he's a keeper.
Lo and behold, he was. We listened to that album all night. One of the most romantic nights I've ever known.
We were married three months later and had 22 happy years together, with uncountable romantic times together, and always it was Tina Turner in the background. Well, Stevie Ray Vaughn was our second fave. He got okay time too. But it was Tina Turner first and last always.
He passed away suddenly in 2006. I was devastated. I played nothing but Tina Turner, day and night. I got through the worst part of that grief thanks to her music bringing back the memories I'll cherish forever. That helped me heal.
A loss to be sure, but she worked so hard all her life, realized her dreams and goals, and helped bring domestic abuse to the front, likely saving women too numerous to count.
She's resting now. I like to believe there is an afterlife, if there is, I know my husband would be there to greet her.
She will be a star shining bright in heaven just as she was on earth. The deep true natural talent some are gifted with, those brightest sparklers in life are unmatchable. Tina Turner was one of those rare gems.
Thank you Ms. Mojo. Her Legacy and career will live on forever Queen of Rock n' Roll will live on!!! She was SIMPLY THE BEST! - Greetings from Sint Maarten blessings.
She was my favorite
Rest in peace the rock queen
This is the third time in my life that I had felt so deeply sad by the passing of an artist. Karen Carpenter in 1983, Whitney Houston and Now Tina Turner. I had the pleasure to see her performing at The Radio City Music Hall back in the 90's This woman could bring down the house with her powerful voice and persona. For what I heard, she was very sick before she die. May you rest in peace Tina. Your music is the legacy that you're left behind. 😪
my favourite is "let's stay together" as her sharp voice comes out very well and also in the lower parts. For dancing of course "Proud Mary", for motivation " simply the best", for the beat " giving it up for your love" for the love "Private dancer" and what's love", for the mood " Paradise is here" and "help". For the soul, all the others!
She's the greatest. I love her voice. And she will be missed. RIP Tina.
My wife and I we seen Tina Turner back in 89 maybe 91 sweet beautiful show she's awesome
I miss her so much, so blessed to see her live twice. Words can’t describe her energy and performance !!
I LOVE EVERYTHING ABOUT MS TINA, HAIR, DANCE, SINGING AND SONGS, HER SHOES AND BRAVERY SO SO INSPIRATIONAL, I LOVE HER SHE WILL BE GLOBALLY MISSED. I SEND PRAYERS TO HER HUSBAND AND FAMILY
Many years from now and generations down the road, maybe even people not born yet will be listening on their form of medium one day and a Tina Turner song just may pop up in their ears, and they'll wonder who this person is. Then they'll realize what an amazing person and performer she was.
My Dad bought me tickets to see Tina as a housewarming gift in 87(Vancouver). Best concert ever.
She's an Icon, now and always. Rest in Power and Peace, Ms. Tina Turner.
She was an amazing artist AND an amazing person. RIP to the Queen and prayers for her husband, sons, family and friends.
Tina's most iconic moment was just simply existing and blessing us with being awesome AF.
She was not only extremely talented and good person, but a very beautiful woman also.
There will never be anyone like Tina, She was one of a kind. Rare and precious
When I saw Tina she danced onstage. She danced the whole time. When it was over she danced offstage. I am still in awe at this. Now she's dancing in heaven lucky angeles. Just as she danced into all of our hearts 💕. The world was blessed to have her.
I've spent 34 years on this planet and I'm so glad I spent them sharing it with this Powerhouse of a human being!!
I was not fortunate enough to have ever met her/ see her in concert... but because of all the powerful things she did... whether it was through her music or speaking out on domestic violence... she was such a force that you felt like you knew her. Every performance seen on TV... Felt like a front row seat at a Tina Turner concert.
You guys ask the question what is my favorite Tina Turner moment? Well... I'm not sure if this counts exactly as far as what people would consider a Tina Turner moment... But the impact it had on me... Changed me forever.
I had been part of a relationship that was definitely not what a relationship should be... but like Tina says... Sometimes when you dedicate yourself to something it's hard to let go... that was why she stayed so loyal to Ike for so long. ( I'm not saying that made it okay... I'm saying I can understand her... Because I felt the same way with a certain relationship I had)
One particularly bad knock-down drag-out fight happened between me and the person I loved and that I thought loved me... and my significant other left the house after the argument... and as I'm watching the tears off of my face... Music is playing on my computer.
Out loud I said someone help me... Someone help me let go.
Right then don't want to fight started playing... I took a deep breath... and I turned up the music.
Must have hit that replay button at least fifty times that day and the day after... when my significant other came back... I played the song again and then I told them I was done and that I deserve better... I said I wasn't going to do it anymore... From that point forward... I would play that song every single time I doubted myself... throughout the process of moving and getting away from that individual... Because of Tina... I finally made it out for good... after that day... they tried many times to come back... thankfully Tina was always there to remind me of my worth.
So yes... I definitely consider that my favorite Tina Turner moment... Weather accounts or not. Wouldn't be here today to leave this comment... If it were not for that moment... when the song began playing... My life was officially saved❤❤ THANK YOU TINA!!!
What was the sing that was playing?? ... 🤔
