Tina Turner live @ The Venue (1983 from London) [audio only, part 3]
It was December 20, and Tina was beginning to find success as a solo artist: ‘Let's Stay Together’ had just hit #6 on the UK singles charts, and at the end of this show she was presented with a silver disc for sales of 250,000 copies.
She belted out a full catalogue of her songs for almost two hours. At 44 she was full of energy exuding immense sex-appeal. The show was a sell-out and it was so crowded at the front that my camera was pressed up against my face. I couldn't have put it down even if I had wanted to (words from David Corio, photographer of the show).

It was November 1983 when Tina released 'Let's stay together', her first single in many years, and she inmediatly begun to promote it around Europe. This italian presentation, which took place on Nov. 27, includes the b-side of the single, 'I wrote a letter'. Both songs were lip-synced, but I guess we will like them anyway.
