Tina Turner live @ The Venue (1983 from London) [audio only, part 2]

It was December 20, and Tina was beginning to find success as a solo artist: ‘Let's Stay Together’ had just hit #6 on the UK singles charts, and at the end of this show she was presented with a silver disc for sales of 250,000 copies.
She belted out a full catalogue of her songs for almost two hours. At 44 she was full of energy exuding immense sex-appeal. The show was a sell-out and it was so crowded at the front that my camera was pressed up against my face. I couldn't have put it down even if I had wanted to (words from David Corio, photographer of the show).

Eu até hoje eu não tive coragem de contar pra ninguém! No dia que eu soube que a Tina Turner havia falecido eu senti uma forte dor no peito passei uns três dias não muito bem! Tento desfarsar até hoje pra todos! Afinal eu sou um homem de 53 anos de idade e ainda sou policial militar!
