    This is a lot simpler than how I was making it out to be in my head.

    Thank you so much! I chose colours that - in warm, night-time lighting - looked like they'd fade really well together, but then in the light of day it was obvious they were different. I'm gonna use your technique and it should make enough of a fade to work! You saved my project! Thanks a bundle! New subscriber here!

      The fade worked great! But I only did one row. For the next transition I'm gonna use two or three rows of your gradient trick. Thanks again! @@threadmakerstudio

    Thanks so much for this tutorial this is exactly what i was looking for. But cant really double the strands in my project because of the thickness do you think i could halve the strands instead so theres still two strands, if that makes sense😅😊

    • @threadmakerstudio
      @threadmakerstudio  11 месяцев назад

      Yes certainly! However I think the best solution that is least likely to result in tangling, would be to use a bigger hook that allows you to work with both yarns :)

    thank u for the tutorial

    • @threadmakerstudio
      @threadmakerstudio  2 года назад

      Thank you!! I would recommend keeping two threads as otherwise the thickness of your work will change. Of course it totally depends what you're working on and you might be able to get away with it depending on the yarn, but I usually stick to keeping the two threads :)

    If you are bouble crocheting do u bouble the yarn same way to get the ombre effect?

    Is there a way to do this if only using a single strand? 🤔

    • @threadmakerstudio
      @threadmakerstudio  Год назад +1

      Unfortunately, you really need two to make it look consistent!
