I love this and will use it many ways- edging for knit hats, hem on a baby sweater and adding to a pretty strap for handbag. I love knitwear with crochet embellishments.and my granddaughters will love headbands of this style in green with added colored flowers and red/pink hearts for Valentine’s Day.

And for ages I needed something cute to just.. scatter and hang beads from. This was PERFECT! And you're right. I learnt it in about 5 mins, then smashed out about half a metre in 20 mins. Love! There is a Monet exhibition in my country. My favourite painting by him is "water lilies" and I think your chain remiended me of their leafs. So I made a long string (1.5 mm hook, with a yarn with various shades of green) along with some miniature water lilies for me and for a friend to wear as headbands to visit the museum.
    Thanks for the inspiration ❤.

Some recommendations for people new to this type of crochet or are having a hard time following along! Following by sight will be easiest so first set the video speed to as slow as possible to make the fast parts easier to follow. Next break down the steps your getting stuck on into small segments and just WATCH those segments without trying to crochet at the same time before you attempt it. Lastly, if you really want your result to look/end the exact same then having the right type of yarn (preferably one with very visible stitches) will be important for both making it AND practicing it! Don't worry if you don't get it right away! I've crocheted for years and it still took me an hour to get one leaf 😅
