I recently started flying United and have had a few really good experiences. However, the food has been hit and miss in Domestic First. Flight attendants always great.

they're definitely known for having hit-and-miss food onboard haha. I loved the cruise, but we did miss two ports due to a hurricane so we ended up with two extra sea-days 😮💨
@@JaydenWong Trust me, you’re glad that they didn’t sail into the hurricane. I was unfortunately on a ship that did that when I was pregnant with my daughter and we almost died, so count your lucky stars!
Great video, Jayden! That was really great for the gate agents to grab that window seat for you. You don't see that kind of dedication much anymore. Kudos to them! It looked like you had good service despite being a short flight. It's great you can use your bluetooth with the AVOD. Sorry your seaplane flight got cancelled. I know you were really looking forward to it. What a hassle to have to transit between airports. Glad you made it safety.

Great report as usual JW! The 737 Max looked new, did it have the new plane smell? Always love a good cup of tea, my Nanna always told me that a cup of tea could fix anything! 😏
Not really, but it definitely felt new haha. The new leather and mood lighting helped. Omg yes the only thing I had to complain about my recent cruise was the lack of kettle in the room! I want tea 24/7😂😂

Well done Jayden for the flight review. The CFM Leap 1B engines are more efficient than the CFM-56 engines.
Love it Jayden and speaking of Asia-Pacifc B737 max operators which one will you compare this B737 Max 9 from UA to? The way that UA boards aeroplanes is their original Window Middle and Aisle method. 18:40-20:22 you got NJ Transit retro paint train which is equal to the Hong Kong MTR Tsuen Ma Line and East Rail lines. Wish that EWR gets CX899 back that way you simply transfer to it although a 12-15 hour wait is needed

Welcome drink at the pointy end on United for a domestic flight, Qantas need to learn how to do this again……… The gate staff seemed really nice and pretty opposite to what people tell you they are like.
Well....now, according to you, after experiencing this flight, how would you rank DL, AA, and UA? I think for me it'll be DL > UA > AA.
My biased answer: AA purely for the lounges (Qantas gold), and then DL for the upgrades (delta gold)
Gotta also consider the travel class and long vs short haul. Vastly difference across the three.

Oh noo, 😂 How was your experience?
Experience with United is very much a hit-and-miss overall. One one flight the onboard service could be pretty good, with polite and helpful flight attendants and decent meals. Then on the very next flight with United, the experience could be terrible, with surly flight attendants and tasteless meals. Because...I don't know, perhaps the UA staff just happen to be in a bad mood for whatever reason. That's the main issue, a lack of consistency in service. You just don't know what to expect. By contrast, Asian carriers, while perhaps lacking the sincere warmth, do generally have a better consistency in the level of service.
Totally get what you mean. I literally hit the jackpot with such friendly ground crew and flight attendants!
Is that your 1st time flying the Boeing 737 Max 9? You flown the Boeing 737 Max 8 many times, but not on the Max 9.

Why did you have to wait for the person who had the window to check in? Surely you could have just moved into that seat once the doors closed
United, like Delta and American Airlines, always fill up their premium cabins by upgrading frequent flyers. If I had chosen to board first and sit at my original seat. They would’ve upgraded someone from economy to that window seat (4A).
When I got the seat 4A, my original seat 5D became vacant but immediately got occupied by an economy passenger that got upgraded last minute :)

You should have flown straight to miami for your convenience rather than that flew to Newark than transfer Airport to JFK to flew to Miami so!.
As I said in the video I was not able to do so for a reason.
First Class! Oh! Excuse me! The rest of us would have been in a deck chair on the wing! Actually if that was First Class I would hate to have seen Cattle Class. And - all those announcements. That would have driven me demented. One can usually never understand them anyway. Thanks for taking me with you Jayden. 😄
